The employee Brenda is very rude and does not know how to talk to a customer. I called her at 1015am to see about getting some furniture and she said I will call back in five minutes. I finally get a call at 3pm to say that she didnt need a different store to call her and that it didnt speed up the process. I gladly said communication is key and no thank you. I will take my business elsewhere. I had called a different store to see if we could order from them since they clearly didnt want our business.

The Manager Calvin and the gulf freeway location Is rude unprofessional and does not know how to handle customers they messed up my lease agreement to where I could not make my payments I cannot make payments until they fix my lease agreement it’s took them weeks to a month And then when they didn’t fix it I end up having an emergency so I can make the payment when they wanted me to make the payment and I asked him to give me some time and then now they won’t work with me when I work with them and gave them time to fix their mistake I wouldn’t buy nothing else from them and I would refer anybody to them

This place is terrible and the furniture is cheap quality, even if you are a good paying customer they do not care. they will treat you like dirt. I would not recommend them to anyone and certainly will not do business with them again.

Apparently the service is horrible. Still waiting for a call back after 3 days of speaking tp them. Ive been with Buddys in Baytown for years now and they are awesome. They go above and beyond, even after the sale. Houston just lost business.

Poor customer service James treated me as if I was a pesant I feel like I was profiled at the door he told me to fill out the application and come back after he called my references he never got back to me and I called my references they stated they never received a call from Buddies furniture I returned to the store James stated that no one answered. I blew it off and called back today for a follow-up James claimed he was the management so I couldnt talk to anyone else about my concerns. He also pulled up my app while we were on the phone stating that I had to come back to the store to fill out another one Im like bro your looking at my app just run it. He called himself getting smart Im not your bro. So I told him if you didnt want my business you could have told me I asked for HR number he wouldnt give it I feel I was racially profiled and he didnt think I could afford the furniture.

Please do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. I purchased a bedroom furniture set, it is the cheapest quality, and was damaged upon arrival. It took a year to find a resolution. The will hound you for payment; however, will not be understanding if your a couple days late with even a phone call to them. I called today for a payment to be paid in 2 days. Asked for payoff only to be told if I pay off in 2 days in will be the payoff plus 2 days of $10.00. Plus, they charge for a payment history copy. I would give them 00000000 if able. Horrible experience, will never shop here again not refer anyone to them. Your better off at Aarons or rent a center.

1st Sandra Rodriguez girl please sit down and shut up. Home Smart is not your personal repair shop. So what you had to follow up with them. Did it kill you to do so?!?! You are not the only customer they have. God forbid that you ever forget to do something, but we all know that will never happen because you are perfect right??2nd Suzie Fallon I would have given you your money back and damn near anything else to get you to leave. What makes you think you can walk into a business and act the way you did? How would you feel if someone came to your job screaming at you because they didn’t like how you cook the fries? Girl act like you have some type of sense next time you walk into any type of business, I bet if you would have, not only would have gotten you issue solved you probably would have gotten a week or so free for your troubles. I would band you from EVER coming back to my store.Home Smart is a great store I have never had an issue with them. If you pay your bill ON TIME like you agreed to do when you was in the store you would not have a problem. The ladies that wrote a review clearly don’t know how to conduct themselves and don’t pay their bills on time (because it was said they hound you when a payment is due) again this is a great store and I would sent my family and friends to do business there. Jonathan and Reginald are awesome and will do all they can to help you.

I am very dissatisfied with Homesmart! Customer service is terrible. I had a washing machine mess up and I contacted them to pick it up for repair. They picked it up and sent it out for repair. They never called me to update me on the status of the repair or to let me know that the machine was ready, I took it upon myself to follow up with them. They told me it was ready and asked when it could be delivered. I take full responsibility in not contacting them back, but you would think that their customer service department would follow up with their customer in regards to the product being dropped off or to follow up with the client, THEY NEVER DID!! A whole month went by and they never contacted me to make arrangements and I never contacted them until I noticed the payment cleared on my account, so that is when I remembered to contact them. They are quick to contact you when payment is due or to pick your items up when payment is not made, but when it comes to customer service on repairs they do not worry about the customer. Jonathan and Reggie are the worst to deal with at the store. Once they brought my washing machine back the bottom portion of the washing machine which is the stand was not installed because they said the screws were lost during repairs, and that they would come back and install it. That was over a month ago and I still have not had it resolved. Jonathan said he would follow up with it and contact me and he never did till this day. My husband had to get screws and install it himself. Like I said, they are quick to call and hound you when payment is due but terrible when it comes to customer service and resolving the customers problems with their products. I will never purchase from them again nor would I recommend them to anyone. Just terrible!

Homesmart was a great solution for us. Everyone goes the extra mile and the manager is always pleasant and offers us water when we go in. They really try to help you and even the delivery team with Rudy and his crew is outstanding.

Thanks to Pete & the staff at Buddys. Now the bed is low enough for my grandson. It helped to take the box spring off & just have the mattress. Also thanks for reinforcing the frame. Again thanks.

I went to the Homesmart Store located at 11655 Gulf Freeway, Houston, TX (near Almeda Mall) on Monday, August 20th. My Salesmans name was Reggie, he wrote my contract and took $220.00 from me for a refrigerator. Reggie told me I was on the delivery schedule for Tuesday afternoon, August 21st from 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. I took a day of vacation from work and was at my home from 2:00 p.m. until 3:50 p.m., when I decided to call the store to check on the delivery. I spoke to a Manager named Robert, since my salesman was at a meeting and wasnt available. Robert stated that he was unaware I was on the delivery schedule, my paperwork had not yet been processed and as of that time was not approved. I went directly to the store where Robert was in the process of writing out a contract for another unsuspecting customer. I insisted on speaking with Robert and he ask me to go to the back offices to talk...I refused and then repeated what had occurred; not wanting the new customers to hear what I had to say, he refunded my money immediately. Ive lost a day of vacation and they left me sitting with no intention of delivering the merchandise. DO NOT SHOP AT HOMESMART, THEY ARE VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!!!!!!!
