I had a great experience using APlus. We have lived in this home in Sugar Land for over 15 years. I did the standard get three quotes thing, but on the first visit with Ariel, I knew I was going to go with them.I had all Heating, and A/C replaced. What I didn’t expect was their thoroughness. Ducts replace when able, every vent replaced (both intake and outbound cooling vents.) and a new Wi-fi Smart Thermostat.We were financed through Green Sky over the amount quoted, but Ariel’s quote never exceeded his bid. (Later I just paid off the Green Sky loan with a credit card transfer at 3% over one year.The install team came out, were experienced, polite and highly skilled.These are the pictures of my old A/C. Until they removed the old one, my wife and I had no idea how bad it was.On the 3rd day, the A/C unit stopped functioning. I texted Ariel, and the next day a technician was on site and found the problem. They ran a new wired to the external A/C unit. Since then, it has not only worked flawlessly, but the system is so good, we stopped using a window unit and even several ceiling fans.I highly recommend APlus and their team!Really, it should be A+++ Air Conditioning & HeatingRemember: These pictures are of the old system.

I called A-Plus because I had a particular question about an American Standard air conditioning unit. I simply picked them out of the blue. Ray, the owner, actually was the person who called me back. Not only did he spend about 15 minutes with me on the phone, he answered all of my questions and provided me with extremely valuable information which will help me in the design of my new system. My builder has his own HVAC installation company, but I now know who I am going to use for service once the home is built. As a small business owner myself, Applewhite Dental Arts, I very much appreciate his professionalism and generosity with his time. I highly recommend you take the time to consult and/or hire with A-Plus Mechanical. In my opinion, and I have dealth with a BUNCH of hvac companies over the years, this company is above the norms!

Ray specd out a replacement for an old problematic ac unit. He offered a fair price on a good product, and I knew he did good work replacing the other unit a few years ago. His team showed up right on time, and wasted no time getting to work. Everything was done carefully (drop cloths, cleanup) and neatly, and quick, too. His guys are top notch and competent, and I know Ray stands behind his work. You cant get the best service for the lowest price, but i believe A-plus delivers the absolute best value and experience.

Ray was our Mechanic and he was amazing! Super friendly, kind and would explain everything that he was doing! Double checked to make sure no wires were out that would hurt/kill my dog. Taking the extra step that not everyone does. Thank you so much!

I called A-Plus out to my place of work to give a second opinion on the air condition unit for the front offices. The day before we had our normal company come take a look (they charged us $200 for this) and they came back and quoted us over $1000 to do a deep search for refrigerant leak because they could not figure out why the unit had no Freon. Ray came the same day I called, went up there saw a crack in the piping, welded it and refilled it all for half the price of our quote from the other company. I waited to post a review to make sure there was no other issue but it is working perfectly and I am enjoying nice cool office space daily! Thank you SO much!

First off, Ray was the best! In almost 9 years of being a home owner, my husband and myself have never had any home improvement work or maintenance/repairs done without trouble. A-Plus is a top notch repair / installation service that offers friendly, professional work at reasonable prices. For starters, Steve had the latest diagnostic software loaded on his tablet and was able to show me readings directly from my unit so I could see exactly how it was performing before and after the service. He was very informative about the options that were available to me regarding my older but still running A/C. At no time did I feel like I was being “sold” on something. He let me know in advance what the charges were going to be before the work was completed. No surprises. Steve and Ray took their time to do the job right with a level of quality and professionalism that is hard to find today. How many times have you paid for a repair service and been happy with the work AND pleased with the value? That’s the way I felt today after A-Plus Mechanical Services left. Wonderful service. New inside and outside equipment changed out efficiently with minimal distribution to the home. Called with a concern the other day and they were out the next day to check our vents. Would recommend this company to anyone. Have dealt with Andy and is so friendly, efficient and helpful.

10/22/19: Andrew called and said hed had a cancellation and asked to arrive early. That worked out well. He seemed knowledgeable and took his time inspecting both the A/C and heater for just a check-up. Im always concerned about turning on the gas heater in the fall before having it inspected. I was disappointed that he couldnt take the readings on the A/C because of the temperature outside. I didnt realize that cooler outside temperatures would be a problem for that. The A/C has been cooling fine throughout the summer so Ill just call them back if I have a problem. The units are about 15 years old so I need to think about replacing them in the near future, but hopefully that can wait until next year.

Thanks to Ray and his team for their prompt attention to my furnace which had taken its last breath. They were punctual, polite and very informative. They answered all my questions (and then some) and worked efficiently, installing the new furnace within 4 hours. I will definitely use A Plus Mechanical again.

Just replaced the AC and Furnace units for the upstairs of our home. Ray and his installation team started at 8:00am and everything was totaly complete before noon. An amazingly efficient process starting with putting down drop cloths to protect stairs and carpets and finished with removal of all old equipment and new unit packaging materials. Ive used A-Plus Mechanical for over 15 years and theyve addressed my every home comfort crisis very quickly even when its been on a holiday weekend.
