The best title company I have used in Houston by far. We had a complex closing with multiple parties and properties and their team was very proactive in procuring all the relevant documents way before the closing date. This ensured we closed on time and had no “last minute” surprises. Special mention to Kirsten, who is not only very knowledgeable, but provided superior customer service.

Mostly good, except they went back on their word.Alamo Title Company had great communication (and were very nice and helpful) with my parents and I. I would have left 5 stars, except they had my parents drive around to find an open bank during COVID-19 EVEN THOUGH we had in writing on multiple e-mails that they were comfortable accepting a cashiers check given the pandemic situation and that most banks were still closed prior to our closing date. Within our prior email conversations, they had confirmed that it would be okay if the cashiers check is over the final closing cost (because we hadnt been given a final number yet -- I think thats because of the builders though and not Alamo.) On the day of closing, they wouldnt accept the cashiers check because they would have to refund us a $5,000 difference. Instead they sent my parents around to find an open bank during the pandemic lock-down.

I have dealt with David for about 10 years now and have nothing but good things to say about the folks at that office.  We have closed approximately 15 transactions with him and he has consistently delivered professional, and timely service.  We have one deal in with them now and are working on getting another to him soon.  Highly recommended.

Receptionist was very rude, do not want to go any further with this company for lack of professionalism.

I’d give a 0 if there was an option. If it wasn’t a forced choice by the builder, I would never ever come to this title company. This is the third time I am extremely disappointed.

HORRIBLE Service! Complete lack of communication! Issues arose and nothing was done. An Im Sorry just isnt sufficient! Buyer sat for hours waiting for issues to be resolved that should have been know prior to scheduling the closing and having the buyer drive 2 hours to the closing. I almost never complain but not even a welcome email was sent to me or my buyer and information was not delivered in a timely fashion. Total lack of follow up! If I could of given them 0 stars I would of. If buying a K hovnanian home be aware this is their title company of choice!

Ive closed on 4 houses total. This is the WORST closing experience Ive ever had. I was greeted unprofessionally with a lady who had a lollipop in her mouth. She did not offer me any refreshments. She was very BRIEF on all documents. At the end, NO ONE congratulated me on the purchase of my home.
