Doctors are always knowledgeable, kind and take the time to explain and take questions. Walk-ins are welcome and prices are very affordable. Im always telling my friends to go to this VET clinic when their pets need care.

The vet was very caring and incredible but I had to put my dog down. I asked to do cremation as well as paw print. They forgot to do the paw print. The staff forgot to tag my dog to get her paw print and now its too late. I am sad. The whole experience has been terrible. How do you forget to tag the dog for a paw print.

Great job. Other vet wanted 3x the amount just to get my cat in the office. They know their stuff, got my cat in and out. I think I found my new vet, thanks!

Our sweet labs, Maggie & Molly have been going to Cypress Square for 11+ years. Recently Maggie was diagnosed with a mast cell tumor. Cypress Square Animal hospital and clinic have been very supportive of our time with Maggie and making sure she is comfortable. We have become weekly visitors to the clinic so they can take good care of her and make sure that she is staying comfortable for the last month or months of her life. We are very appreciative of everything they have done with both of our dogs. They are loving and caring.

I have been taking my dogs there for years. Cypress Square is located close to my home, they offer Saturday hours and it is affordable. (most of the time *smile* ) But my favorite part of using Cypress Square is how they care for my dogs. I do not feel rushed in our visit and I can ask all of the questions I need to feel comfortable or to understand. And they explain options to me. If one of my dogs needs a procedure, I am presented with a written estimate with all of the costs broken down. And Im given options of what costs can safely be eliminated, if I desire. The staff is very kind, caring and knowledgeable.

Otherwise it would’ve cost me a lot of money to have it removed. Not necessary to be removed.I had her groomed on Friday August 6, 2021. She actually gave her a real Schnauzer cut. The 1st REAL schnauzer cut ever. The bow is exactly what I wanted but did not ask. Thank you for 2 exceptional visits.I met a man who has been using them for 25 years. That says a lot.

From the moment we walked in we were greeted very kindly and the all the staff were super friendly. The veterinarian Dr. Collier was super nice and listened to us and our needs. She addressed everything out little kitty Birdie needed. I loved everything and everyone. Kim was super awesome as well! She really buttoned up the fantastic experience we had there. I love the vets at Cypress Square. They are truly knowledgeable and give pets the upmost attention. I have been pleased with the diagnosis and care for my fur babies.

I’ve used Cypress Square for over 5 years and have been very satisfied for both yearly visits with shots as well as for sick visits. Even during they pandemic they have been great while keeping safety of all high.

Moved out of the Cypress area, but thankfully not too far of a drive to keep bringing my fur babies here. Walk-in only, no appointments, makes it convenient for me and my schedule. The staff is always friendly and all the vets I’ve seen there always take their time with my pets and are very informative. And you can’t beat their prices! I did notice that their office visit charge has increased, but you can still walk out of there without spending a mortgage payment. And their prices for annual shots are way cheaper than other vet offices.

They were courteous, quick to diagnose & reasonable with charges. Cut my pills with no charge & explained dosages thoroughly.

Walk-in only, but always worth the wait to see either doc and get everything my senior pup needs in one visit - her annual with vaccinations, checkup on her arthritic hips, prescription refills, and discussion about her overall health - including bladder issues, heart murmur, and cataracts. I know Dr. Schill genuinely cares and wants to help keep my old girl in the best state as long as possible without unnecessary pills, procedures, or charges. I appreciate the conservative yet caring approach.

Please, I beg you. Do NOT come here. My family and I are astounded and heartbroken by the lack of knowledge, empathy, and professionalism displayed. Brought our pup in for a simple procedure and it turned into an absolute nightmare. The customer service we experienced was horrendous. Delivering news, especially bad news, is an essential skill in any medical profession and the lack of empathy at this establishment is something that will forever haunt us. We do not wish this treatment on anyone. If you can avoid it, please do. We deeply regret the entire experience and will forever question whether things could have played out differently had we gone elsewhere — and even if they hadn’t — we would have a million times preferred to have taken our little loved one to a place in which staff and vets seem to understand the love one has for their pet. Will never ever set foot here again and my heart goes out to anyone who has to.

I was really upset and worried about my dog Banksy after he has not been acting himself and been in pain for the last week. When we got in, The vet noticed my dogs OCD tick of licking the air constantly and so I made the comment “oh he’s just filter feeding” and she got the spongebob reference so we Proceeded to laugh it up about spongebob back and forth. I will definitely be returning for now on to take care of my fur baby.

We have a new puppy (Sir Didymus) and I looked up affordable vets in my area. They were very accommodating and were able to see me the same day on short notice. He needed his 2nd round of shots. After speaking with the vet we decided to start his shots over because the 1st round wasnt from a vet. They took great care of our lil pup and were very reasonable on their prices. Will definitely recommend them.

We have been taking our pets here for 15 years. I have never in my life thought of writing a review until now. This last visit a week ago wasnt good. The vet who saw my new puppy was okay. Let me start here, brought my new puppy to see the vet, couldnt get to go inside with my puppy. That wasnt good. Second the front desk people are extremely rude and unpleasant to speak with on all business levels. No kindness at all...Unfortunately with such an awful staff that shows NO care for your pet, I now dont recommend this place at all. They are not the cheapest in town, to top that off, price has gone up a tons in the past years. It makes me very upset after all these years to say this place has gone down hill bad!!!! Not recommend!!!! Take my word.

I drive across town just to go here and in Houston that can take a long time.....so it goes to show just how great these folks are with your pets. I highly recommend!

I took my puppy to the vet because she wasn’t eating much and seemed to be having problems with her neck. At the time she had only used the bathroom 1 time in 4 days.They made me wait outside in my car to come get her and told me I couldn’t be in the room with my baby. I just had to sit outside in my car and wait. I thought she might have been sick or injured I didn’t know what was wrong.They asked if I wanted to get an X-ray which I did and it showed no fractures and no injuryThe doctor said they didn’t know what was wrong with her.They performed No bloodwork, no stool sample no urinalysis, nothingThe doctor performed ZERO TESTS, but wanted to refer me to a “specialist” for $5000 surgery-on what? I don’t know. .Just gave me some pain medicine for her, and at my request they gave her fluids. Monday was the last day she ate or drank anything-same day she saw the vet.The medicine made her so dizzy that she stopped being able to run, walk, eat, drink or even stand up.If they had just treated her like a patient and done some lab work they would’ve found she had an infection....I could smell the infection on her, why couldn’t they? Masks that’s whyAntibiotics would’ve saved my baby’s life. Instead she died in my arms last night-2days after taking the pain medication.I will not jeopardize another animal by taking them here.

The vet insisted my dog has fleas. She couldn’t find a flea on her, I’ve never seen a flea on her and there are no fleas in my carpet at home. But somehow she insisted my dog has fleas.

So wrong, about what was wrong, with my dog. But the veterinarian was knowledgeable and in no time at all, my dog is back on the road to recovery. Thanks ever so much!

Was a bit of a wait since they don’t take appointments, but the staff is very kind and I love that the vet is conservative with his treatment. He wanted to try other things before doing expensive tests.

I would never recommend this place! I am so ASHAMED to say this was a vet that I recommended to others. The dis concern of these technicians when they see a helpless dog in need is APPALLING. One day ago we had brought in a dog that had been hit, unfortunately when getting there all the technicians were standing outside due to just closing. Instead of receiving absolutely any help we were instead told we could ‘put a bullet in her head’. For these words to come out of ANYONES mouth is disgraceful but for a technician to say this? I amDisgusted with your whole staff.

I was asked if I want the same haircut for my dog as “last time”. I said yes. I get my dog and we’re on our way home, she was handed to me thru the window cause of covid Protocol. My dog is a mini schnauzer. She gets her haircut with a skirt showing. They gave her a complete shaved looked. I was not happy. This is not what she had “last time”. She hasn’t had a complete shaved look since maybe last summer. When I called to complain. The lady that answered said she was sorry. She will make note to leave the skirt on for her next visit. I felt they should have given me a discount or free haircut since they messed up. It will take time for her hair to grow back out.

We have taken our dog to Cypress Square Animal Clinic for a number of years and we have always been very pleased with the service and the quality of the diagnosis and treatment offered. We would recommend them very highly.

Cypress Square recently helped us save our cats teeth. They found an easy, healthy, affordable solution to replace one that was costly and a dead end. Great vet. We moved from across town a couple years ago and have struggled to find a quality affordable vet ever since. My wife and I eat at the Mexican restaurant next door quite often and noticed the large amount of patients at this office regularly. Our 2 year old Rottweiler developed a severe ear infection and needed to be treated immediately. We walked in after lunch one day and were told that the visit was only $40 and it was completely walk-in. We returned w our big girl about 45 minutes later and were seen within 15 minutes. Needless to say my pup was not the most cooperative patient and her size(100+ lbs) makes examination difficult. Especially if she has an area that she doesnt want touched. The first vet tech had trouble getting her to stay still for the exam, then the Dr called in a tech named Mo. She struggled again but he was able to control her rather quickly and she seemed to calm down after a few seconds. I appreciate them recognizing that my dog was not aggressive and only scared w her strange surroundings. Ive had a couple of offices refuse to see her without a muzzle and I hate doing that to her. It adds to the stress she is already feeling. Thank you Cypress Square and as an owner of two other large breed dogs you have found a loyal customer.

Cypress Square is reasonably priced. The vets are very caring and the techs were great with both our dogs. It is easy to get in to see them and I would recommend them to everyone.

The information you get from both doctors are inconsistent from each other. At times contradicting.I brought in my elderly cat for fluid shots. The first time the doctor said this is something not to do at home and should only be done by professionals. The second time the other doctor said yes this can be learned and be done from home.In that first visit, the doctor said the fluid shot is not required to give on a regular basis. On the second visit, the other doctor said this is to be given once to twice weekly.The second visit I asked to be taught how to give proper fluid injections. They refused and said it is against their policy.There are better vets with better policies out there to care for your pets.

I recently found this clinic back in February, and I started taking my two dogs along with my cat.. Needless to say I recommend this clinic to everyone I know! Dr.Russell is incredible at what he does, and his team is very knowledgeable and the front staff is very friendly and bubbly!

Cypress Square Animal Clinic is the BEST vet ever. These people are vets because they love animals. They give such tender care when our family members are hurt. We have had surgery there, taken our puppies there & had to put some of our family member down, they have been the best through it all. They sent me a sympathy card when we had to put one of our dogs down. I drive about 20 miles to go to this vets office. I pass about 4 of them, because I want my children to have the best care. They also have a great grooming service. It is so nice when you walk in & they know you by name.

Ive been going here for the last 8-9 years with all of my family pets! Tiffany (front desk) prompted me to write this review because she was so helpful in getting me my animal records swiftly & she seemed so happy to do so. I always get great service here & can tell they care about my pets. I dont live in the area anymore but I drive 30+ minutes there because their staff is amazing!

This is my go to vet as always. Awesome professional service as always. I wouldn’t trust my pets to just anyone and they always provide the best care.
