Surprisingly nice car wash! I haven’t seen a self service bay-style car wash this nice… ever? The card reader worked great, the brush seemed new and soft and clean, the soaps smelled nice and did a great job at removing bugs easily. I managed to get a great wash with a wax coat for around $8. So not only is it really nice and clean, it’s also a great deal!Just don’t forgot to rinse your brush head off when you’re done using it, pay it forward to the next guy ;)

Probably the cleanest self car wash business Ive experienced in over 40 years. First time here and was also greeted by a gentleman named Luke who welcomed me and made me feel like Ive been their customer for years. They had a few open stalls to choose from and the ones that other customers were using, at a glance seemed to be higher end and newer vehicles. I felt safe as well which is important! Free air and air dryers in the bays which I havent seen anywhere!

I would not recommend this car wash because I feel that their charging $1 per minute on my credit card and it does not say how many minutes per dollar. Water pressure is horrible not cleaning my car well enough also clear coat protection and wax feels like only water came out. This place is overrated and not worth the drive coming here.

Best self service car wash Ive ever been to! They accept debit card as well. Ive never been to a car wash that had a hand held air-dryer or a handheld tire shine brush. 10/10

New to the area from Cali. This by far the best Do-it-yourself car wash in the area!! The customer service was exceptional they helped me figure out how to use the machine. The fact that they take credit card also deserves recognition . Will def be back :)

This place is absolutely spectacular! I went here today for the first time. Upon pulling up, a gentlemen came to me immediately to see if I needed assistance. After learning it was my first time, I was walked through all the features and even received a complimentary wash. They have great customer service, great unlimited offers and are open 24hours. Oh, also, lots of foam so your car gets super duper clean. I highly recommend Joe’s Car wash!

Okay. I am at Joes car Wash a lot I mean a lot a lot. I washed my car so much that my friends are surprised that it still has paint on it. The attendance are nice and they help out where and when they can and its a reasonable price. What can I say. I know Ill be back hopefully I will see some of you out there also.

I wash my car a lot. Ive been to many DIY car washes all over Houston. This one is the best overall in my opinion. They always have an employee working which makes them stand out for many reasons, pay with debit cards and the frequent cleaning/maintenance of vacuums is great.

Wonderful do it yourself option where ALL the equipment works. It even has a big blow dryer for drying your car. The vacuums arent free but they are reasonably priced and have powerful suction.They also have an automatic car wash option with an optional wash pass

THE PAYMENT TIMER COUNTS UP!!! I feel like I should shout this from mountain tops. That alone is enough to keep me coming back, everything else is gravy.The price is fair, the facility is clean and free of odors, and the management is frequently present keeping things maintained. They even lent me a tire pressure gauge on one of my first trips - which is a small thing, but it was incredibly helpful.This is the only place I go to wash my car, and I dont even live in the area anymore!

Great Car wash and super clean. I got their pass card which you pay for every month but its well worth it for as dirty as the streets are here in houston. The guys that work there during the day are super nice. Be prepared to wait for an open bay on the weekends. It gets busy but thats because their machines and stuff WORK WELL and arent all busted like other coin operated car washes.

Love this place! They took the time to teach me how to use all the facilities and products and wash my car properly. John checked up on me a few times to make sure I was going okay and gave me my first wash for free! I will 110% be buying the unlimited membership. They put so much time into running a great business and seem to really care about their customers. This is my new favorite local business in Houston for sure!

Easy to find, really quick stop and pretty cheap. I went around 11:30-12 and it was barely anyone there. Also had a fragrance pump which was nice. All in all I was able to vacuum my whole car and spray fragrance for 5$.

Their wash bays are very well maintained, and everything works perfectly. You can pay with a credit card for your wash. It also has the highest price Ive ever paid for a self carwash.

Very busy during the day. Open 24 hours though. Theres usually employees there onsite during daytime hours. Its way better than any other self wash in town. I just got a monthly unlimited pass because I realized it would save me a few bucks a month.

They could give you a little more time for a dollar. But not bad. If you use a credit card, always remember to push the button when you finish. Otherwise it will charge you thirty bucks. I learned the hard way.

Its great, I never have to wait, its clean, its convenient, they take cards/coins, everything works and I have not seen random people trying to sell stolen electronics to me.

Everything Worked Properly, All The Stalls Were Being Washed After Each Use (Around 630ish), And Only About A Penny Per Second When Using Your Card. Ill Probably Make This My Usual GoTo!!!

This is the best self service car wash in all of Houston! They have a membership that works similarly to an electronic Toll Tag where you can set up an account. All of the Stalls accept credit and debit cards as well as coins. The property installs are meticulously maintained and cleaned with all equipment working perfectly. The quality of the cleaning products is also very good. The management regularly Patrols the property and offers exceptional customer service! The customer service by the staff is quite simply amazing and unexpected for a coin style car wash!

First time here, came in to give our Infiniti a quick wash and we were greeted by John who was super polite and explained every option on their self serve wash bays to us and the technology behind their subscription membership plans which was actually pretty cool to learn. then with it being our first time here, John loaded our machine with a bunch of free time. I’ve never experienced any car wash quite like this before.

Great spot. Its been a long time since Ive used a self-serve car wash, but this place is set up exceptionally well. Met the owner, and he was super friendly and answered all my questions. Its really obvious that he takes a lot of pride in the place.

Good place to go wash your car if you like to self wash. It is always clean, all the equipment and wash stalls are in good condition and work. They always (24hrs) have someone on staff there to ensure its not over run by homeless begging for money or vandalism and of course are always willing to be of assistance if you need them.

I came to this carwash at night and it was more clean and well light up than other self carwashes and their equipment was very good. Will be coming back hopefully during the day.

A neighborhood car wash has been there for a long time. I enjoyed the ATM card feature instead of constantly feeding the machine - who carries cash anymore? Be mindful of your time though because you can spend $.Felt safe, as it is in Montrose, the vaccum suction is very 💪. Saves money.

I only used the vacuum but overall good.The vacuum worked well and left no wet spot like other vacuum do.

Pressure is always ridiculously weak. Wash time is only about 90 seconds for your money but they do have a helpful staff there. Personally I will get better pressure from my water hose at home and therefore no point in using this car wash. By pressure being so low you will spend about $5 to get a regular car wash.

Absolutely the best DIY car wash in Houston! We drive from Pearland just to use it for all of our vehicles. The owner is almost always there to help out and maintain their systems. Everything works and the bays are always clean. You get your monies worth for sure! Check out their membership if youre going to be washing often. We got a multi car membership and its 100% worth it!

I came here after my car had been sitting for over 6 months while I was out of town. The owner immediately came over, explained every step and offered my first car wash for free! I was blown away by the customer service at a self-serve car wash. Will certainly come back!

Excellent family owned business that has been located in the Montrose for decades. Its clean and well maintained.Self-service car is $1.00. You can do the whole car for $2.00 if you move quickly. Water pressure is good I like the nice thick horse hair foaming brushes. Vacuum cleaners are $1.00. For $2.00 you can add a fragrance.There is friendly and helpful attendant onsite.

Never seen someone friendly as supportive as Joe. The membership is awesome and the no cash system is the king.

Nice, well maintained car wash, but gives you half the time of other car washes for the money. It costs 100% more to wash your car here versus the other car washes. Its the same price to use the drive through car washes. Its the only self wash in this area, so they can charge what they like. Really nice place if you dont care what it costs, though.

Easy way to keep your car neat and clean!

Most self-serve car washes are just there. You go there, feed the machines, wash your car, and leave with zero interaction with anyone. Joes Car Wash in Montrose goes far beyond that. Its the only one Ive ever seen that actually focuses on its customers. Every time I have gone there, one the managers--a really friendly younger guy--has dropped by just to say hi and offered his help should I need anything. Ive been there in the summer months when hes come around handing out cold bottled water to his customers, and today, he came by passing out cards for free car washes. Even though the place has been around for a long time, the equipment is well-maintained, and the property is kept very clean. It offers free air for tires 24/7 while area gas stations charge as much as $2 for air. Any establishment that works this hard to earn its customers business will definitely get mine, even though Id really rather drop my car off somewhere and have someone else wash it. I highly recommend Joes Car Wash in Montrose.

Amazing! I live in Katy but come down here because they take credit card and the equipment is always working perfectly don’t have to worry about hoses that don’t work or equipment that damages my car. Love it.

This place is awesome, Currently moved to Pearland and do not live in the city anymore. It is sad to see that the customer services is nonexistent there is no number to call for any service noir do they answer any of the emails you send to cancel services.

Still love this place. its the gay car wash in the heart of Montrose. clean, safe place to be at any hour at it is brightly lir, and the staff is very friendly and helpful. its a bit expensive to use the vacuums, and you wash the car, about double the cost of the one just up the road also on Montrose. 3x the price if you consider most guys wash their cars lightly before coming here, because who wants to be seen washing a really dirty car vs just detailing an already clean one? great place to meet other guys who are intro guys and cars. ;)

I don’t write reviews often, but I just had to for Joe’s Car Wash. This review goes beyond the quality car wash, prices and clean property, but it also includes a review about the owner of this location. I witnessed him offer to give an older Army veteran a chair to sit in in the shade while the owner’s staff cleaned the car for the veteran. In addition to that, the owner was walking around giving each customer water since it was early August. This is how you run a business. It made my day to see how this veteran was treated - the little things go a long way to running a successful business. Hats off to the owner and his staff here.

Everything works and in great shape, 3 stars simply because for the money its gonna cost you to wash your car you can have it washed by someone else and save your time and not sweat in the heat.. so unless you bbn have to wash your own car cuz u enjoy it and ready to overpay go there.

The brushes are pretty gnarly but the property is normally kept clean, it is well lit, and they allow you to use a credit/debit card so you dont have to feed in a million quarters.I like that they have the air dryer so I can blow out water from my door jams, mirrors and lights.Can get pricey but if you move quickly you can pretty easily wash your car for $4-8
