This is hands down the best barber shop I have ever been to. I was going to gentry and they charge $40. They charged me $25 here for the best cut I’ve ever gotten. Won’t be going anywhere else. Thanks

Best haircuts in Houston, I’ve been cutting my hair with Osman for 6yrs and 4 yrs at this location. If he’s on the phone it’s because customers are calling to set up appointments. All the barbers here are great and can cut any hairstyle you want. They cut my kids hair as well. I have no complaints at all just positive feedback

Great place, great people. Been going to the this Barbershop for a couple years now, but Osman has been my barber since years before. I Highly recommend him and the rest barbers here.Beard trim/line up/fades/tapers/hot towel shave, he does it, with much attention to detail. Be ready to spend from 1-1.5 hrs once your on the chair here. All worth it.

They always take great care of me here. I highly recommend getting the hot towel shave with your hair cut. It makes for a relaxing break in your day at a good price. The owner is always warm and friendly and will offer you a cold beverage to enjoy while you wait. She keeps it clean and comfortable too. If you work or live near 290 and Dacoma, do your self a favor and give them a try.

Stuck over the weekend on business, just happened to walk into establishment and glad it did. Miriam the owner was excellent at her job and pleasant to be around. I usually will not allow the stylist to use a straight razor to edge my cut, but found myself completely at ease trusting her skills completely. I will definitely stop in again.

I came into the shop and I wanted a very different hair style. I showed them some pictures to describe what I was looking for and they did an awesome job. Their shop is very clean and everyone is very polite and willing to help. I could tell that there was a lot of attention to the details. They clearly know what they are doing. Its been a long time since Ive had a regular barber but Ive finally have found my home. This place is always on point with mine and my sons cut. I get the most compliments after sitting in Mariams chair. She takes the time to cut it right and just how I like it. She will also make suggestions to make sure you are looking your best. I get the shampoo as well and I come out feeling like a VIP. My neck and sideburns get a straight razor shave which is a nice touch. I also get my sons (2 years old) hair cut here. Hes a little more of a challenge but he comes out looking more handsome then his dad! They have definitely earned a loyal customer. Prices are fair and there are refreshments available while you wait.

After a few years of searching for the right barber shop for me, I found this place and I havent gone anywhere else for the past two years. I have been cutting my hair with Mirian for about 4 years now, she used to work at one of those high end barber shops that went out of business about three years ago. She decided to move on and open her own shop. To my knowledge most of her customers from that fancy barber shop followed her although the additional 15 min drive, thats in itself says plenty about her and the shop.She is awesome, the level of detail and care she has for what she does is incredible. She has kept the same level of treatment and service from her former employer and delivers consistent great results at a much more affordable price. She is slowly building a team around her that values the same level of detail and great customer service. I would recommend this barber shop to anyone.Do not expect the 5 min, I dont care if you have hair down your shirt, all over your face service you get at one of the chain shops. I have been going to Miriam since before she opened her own shop. She gives a great haircut and doesnt rush through it. Her shop is very nice and I would consider the haircutting experience she provides to be better than some of the higher end barber shop chains like Roosters or The Boardroom. Ask for Osman. He is without question the best barber Ive found in the Houston area in the last 6 years that I have been back. He and the other lady do chat quite a bit which can slow things down but honestly it doesnt bother me at all because I know how good the haircut is.

Great looking barber shop, even has free drinks with the haircut. The guy, I believe Antonio, was good but a little hesitant while cutting. Dont know why because the finished product looked good, definitely will come back when I need to get it re-cut.

I stopped by at 1PM. Only 1 barber was working. The other one was sleeping A man walks in off the street at 1:15PM. We both waited fir another 30 minutes for two people to get their hair cut. They took forever on a simple haircut. Finally when its my turn, the lady who works there said This man is going to cut in front of you. He has an appointment. Why couldnt she tell me that when he first came in? I left and will never go there again. The good news is, Masters Barber Shop in Karbach Steer, a quarter of a mile toward Hempstead Highway, turn right. They are down on the right. Masters got me in and out and gave me the best haircut Ive gotten in 20 years! If you are tired of waiting in poor service, go to Masters. They are hands down a better barber shop.

Great place! This is a true barbershop run by very professional barbers who truly know what they are doing. I became a loyal customer because after looking for a while I found that they only use razor blades to give the best shaves and haircuts in town. Honestly, Ive to drive around 25 mins to get here and its worth it; you can have a conversation with your barber, get a free drink, and get a massage at the end. This place has no comparison.

My stylist was named Miriam, I asked for 1 and 1/2 tapered sharp edge up. She couldnt even get my lineup even. My Edge up is lopsided and she told me that there was no way for her to fix the right side of my Edge up. This may not be a place for black people!

Absolutely horrible!This review is coming after visiting Executive Choice for the second time.I was looking for a new barber and found them and gave them a call asking if they took walk-ins, to which they said yes. When I arrived, the place was empty aside from the 2 barbers and one customer getting a cut. The guy who cut my hair spent half the time talking on the phone, while he cut my hair. This could have easily taken 20ish minutes, but turned into 45.I didnt think much of it since he did a pretty good job.Fast forward to today.I arrived, once again under the notion that they took walk-ins. This time, there were 3 barbers (2 ladies and 1 gentleman). All 3 were in the process of cutting hair.The same guy who cut my hair last time was on the phone, on speaker for the whole shop to hear his call. One of the ladies greeted me and told me to sign on the list. I thought the wait wouldnt be too long since I was the only customer waiting. Man, was I wrong.For an hour and a half I waited to get a haircut. I watched as 2 other customers came in after me and got a haircut and the one guy barber talked on the phone and to other barbers. He seemed to care about doing EVERYTHING else BUT cut hair. I received no communication from staff till 45 min after I arrived. It was only then that the lady mentioned the girl at the front would get me next. The girl at the front had been shaving the same guy in her chair since I walked in and continued to do so as I got up to leave an hour and a half later.It was only then that anyone seemed to care and mentioned the wait wouldnt be much longer once my hand touched the door.ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!This was the worst barbershop Ive ever been to and everything that went down was totally inexcusable. Save yourself the hassle and go elsewhere instead of dealing with the incompetency that is abundant at Executive Choice.

Ive been letting all of the stylists at Executive Choice cut my hair for about two years. The price is fantastic, even if you pamper yourself with a straight razor shave and facial massage like I usually do. Ive always gotten the best possible cut from every one of the hair stylists, and I feel re-energized after each cut and shave.

Recently moved to Houston, Ive tried multiple barbershops and just wasnt happy. I searched for barbershops on Google maps and stumbled upon Executive Choice barbershop and the reviews were overall positive so I decided to give them a shot. I was able to book an appointment via the Google maps app which I thought was quick and easy! Miram cuts my hair and does a fantastic job everytime. She is attentive to details and makes sure you leave satisfied and happy. The staff there is very friendly. These guys are a joke. Good or bad cut be damned. Get here and there is no one here but some clueless girl thats assures me the barber will be back in 10 minutes.. she calls the barber and he actually has the audacity to tell her to ask me to come back at 4. So who the hell is cutting hair for the next 3 hrs? Great business model.

Bad professional. Dont use this place you regret it I visited this place for the first time 01/12/2018. They lady said she has one appointment and I waited. After they took another and walk up to me and told me they have to take one more before me. I wish I didnt have to give a star. My total wait time was 1 hour 33 minutes.
