It was awesome when I went the 2nd time the barber let me skip line so I was greatly appreciative and the cut was worth the priceEveryone were like family to each other and the funny part is when the snack lady comes boy did they buy a buggy f snacks I dont blame them for being hungry Ill rather them be full and give a nice trim than to be hungry and do things to fast and mess up.Great place. Good luck getting a haircut if youre not black or a friend of the barbers. I waited for 30 minutes and in those 30 minutes i saw 3 different individuals who came after me getting their haircut. Nobody cared enough to even acknowledge me. Horrible horrible costumers service.

I called before I showed up at the shop. They told me just come in and someone would be right with me. However I guess because I’m a female I’m not suppose to be there. I sat for over 30 minutes waiting for someone to “be right with me”. I watched people who had come before and after me get serviced. The entire time I sat there no one said a word to me. I even told a stylist I was waiting for a cut. Still no one said anything to me. Mind you this isn’t a large place. All conversations can be heard. No one said a word to me. So I walked out. I called because apparently the part about not needing to make an appointment was false. And then they said “oh you didn’t say anything.” I’m sorry. I am a store manager for Starbucks. And if I see someone walk into my store and stand for any period of time saying nothing, I’m going to ask them what I can do for them. Because that is good customer service. I’m not running your business, you are.

I have been getting haircuts by Big Kevin for the last 5 years.. Great place good convo and fire cuts

Fillmore is a great barber and on time, you will not have to wait 1 hour to get your Haircut. If you have an appointment is at 1:00pm , the latest you will have to wait is 15-30 mins on a bad day. No one is perfect but this has been my experience for 5 years now. He is the first barber to the right when you walk in. The best thing to do is call and schedule an appointment as he has a lot of clientele and walk ins may or may not be seen as quickly or at all.

I went in on Friday and let Angel trim my sides down and when I got home to comb my hair she plugged me bald in the front of my head. I texted her no response and sent her a picture! No apology no refund or nothing!!

Best place to get a haircut in Houston! Great prices and great barbers and a nice laid back atmosphere. Have been getting my haircut from Kevin for about 16 years.

You have to ask for Kevin. He’s rarely if ever late, and can get you in and out in a reasonable time. Do yourself a favor, and call ahead and get an appointment to avoid the weekend rush.

Went in and saw eugene. The place was clean, the people were friendly. He was a little bit rough, but great end result. $17 dollars well spend for shave and cut
