A pleasant surprise! I came to this place because of the high ratings and this place exceeded my expectations! I needed a plastic frame from my dashboard replaced... I estimated it would cost $100-200 due to the fact it is on Memorial and figured it might take about 2 hours. Luckily I only payed $27 for the repair and $27 to knock out my State Inspection early... on top of that, the whole process took 35 minutes from when I walked in, to when I walked out.I highly recommend this place! The front desk was frank and up front with everything. If I need any other repairs done, Ill definitely want to come back here.

It so happened that a protective shield under the engine came off and I drove over to them as I was passing by. They lifted the car, zipped the parts tight and refused to take any payment, since the solution was temporary (a permanent one to be made by an authorized dealer).Here Im not talking about money or savings at all, but about how they value their reputation, understand the client and are ready to help in any way they can. I wanted to write a review because I just experienced some of the best customer service I’ve ever received from a Good Year or mechanic in a very long time. Kyle and Gene we’re extremely helpful. Everything from making sure I was able to get an appointment to giving me every last detail about what’s going on with my car. Most mechanics will tell you everything that’s going wrong and it almost feels like they’re trying to pressure you into buying things on top of what you’re actually going there for, however that was not my experience. Although I wasn’t jumping for joy over how much I was going to have to pay, I was happy that I left with what I need it fixed and a to do list for some items that I need to look at. All in all this is now The place where I will service my car even if prices are a little more than what I’d like, because honesty, integrity, dependability, and care for what will work best for the customer are the most important things to me.

Have been coming here for 7+ years. My dad brought his vehicles here for years before that. We know we can trust these guys to tell us the truth and not push unnecessary fixes on us. They have excellent service, and will bring things that need fixing to your attention, but are honest with whether or not they are urgent safety issues, or if they can wait. But now that I feel safe to post this, my fiancé’s truck was stolen after getting $4,000 of new parts and labor fixed on this. And someone inside working at this place definitely planned this out because the day we picked it up it was stolen shortly later that night. We lived in a gated community that has never had stolen vehicles EVER! And the day we got it back it was stolen. Please take your money elsewhere! They still have not found our truck and I’m truly disgusted by this!

I worked with Kyle Kiesling directly on my services. I had a unique situation with a custom Jeep in which I needed his team to mount some Duratracs to aftermarket wheels. I expected to have to talk to someone about this request, and Kyle was the guy. He engaged me in a very professional way, making sure I was aware of safety issues and installation problems that sometimes surface with aftermarket wheels.I had done my research and had selected a setup that was appropriate for my vehicle, but I really appreciated his intentionality with me. He had a few concerns he wanted clarification on, so we pulled up the specs on the wheels online. Once he was able to confirm what he needed to know, he proceeded to complete the mount and install of the wheels and tires, along with working through the many customizations I have on the Jeep that made it a more challenging experience for him.Kyle and his team were incredible from start to finish. This was the third time Ive used Memorial Car Care, and they are by far the best Goodyear dealer/auto service provider in the immediate Houston area. This was the second set of tires Ive purchased through them. I also had an inspection and oil change performed while there.Thank you, Kyle, for your above and beyond service, and for engaging me well with both your concerns and working through them so that I could get the work done that I needed. Follow up to my original post: I brought my vehicle and it’s a Subaru for maintenance and to check and AC issue I was having . As always Kyle was very informative about what would need to be done to fix AC and what the worst case scenario would look like. I dropped my car off and used their friendly shuttle service to head back home to my home office . I received a phone call a few hours later that my vehicle was ready and an update on the AC. Thankfully it was not the worst case scenario. Very affordable excellent service as always. Thank you Kyle and team!I have been taking my vehicle here for a few years now. I love the service that i received from the staff, especially Kyle. The technicians are also honest which is hard to find.I recently took my vehicle in for maintenance and new tires during this time period of CoVid. I was impressed by the precautions taken by Memorial Car Care Center. All employees were wearing masks, there was hand sanitizer at each of the check out areas and they recently added large plastic shields between customer and the check out person.I recommend them highly.

First time at Memorial Car Car Center and the experience was wonderful. Gene Graham, the manager, is very nice and attentive. The young man checking me was fine but could use a little more customer service training and be more attentive and interactive. Competitive pricing and quick service. I went there on a Thursday at 4pm and it took about 35 min. for a oil change.

Kyle and Gene are terrific and always do a great job.

Do not be put off by its location! They do a superior job every time for far less than other shops in the Memorial/Galleria area. I can go to cheaper places on other sides of H-Town, especialmente porque hablo el español, but I cannot trust the quality like I can here. They NEVER try to gouge and give estimates, working within my budget, while maintaining professionalism at all times!!!

Took our 2015 Nissan Pathfinder here for mostly general services - Oil change, Tire Rotation, Air Filter replacements, Steering Fluid Changout, and State Inspection. Kyle as very helpful, walked through everything and did an excellent job communicating progress. Overall, for everything they did, the price was very reasonable. Will definitely be coming back here in the future!

I have been taking my car here for over 3 years now. Everyone is very professional, quotes are reasonable and I have never felt like they suggest work that isnt needed. Typically I ask for a courtesy ride home or to my office and have been given one quickly both from and back.

They did the State inspection on my Tesla Model X. Did it very quickly and since the Tesla is total electric, all they had to do was a safety inspection for $7. It was very quick and no hassle. Always enjoy their professionalism in working with customers

I dont have enough good things to say about Memorial Car Care Center. They have always been honest with me about what needs to be done to my car. I have always been able to get my car in in a timely manner and each time I have brought my car there, they were able to finish the work the same day.

Memorial Car Care did a great job of getting my truck back in order. I needed and alignment, rotation, balance, and state inspection. They handled everything within a few hours. The timing was a little longer than I expected, but the manager was very gracious with a discount to accommodate my extended wait. All in all, I will be returning for future car services.

Always great service for our car maintenance at Memorial Car Care. Our latest need was for a very loud rubbing sound from our Ford Explorer right rear wheel. It was a caliper rubbing against the brake pad. We had a complete brake job for both rear wheels, now with 97,000 plus miles on them. As usual, the work was done professionally in just a matter of hours. The staff here is great and they know their business. We use to go to a Ford dealership for our car maintenance. Memorial Car Care Center is much better! Friendly expert staff who will thoroughly discuss any issues or suggestions for your car maintenance and safety. Very short wait time. In fact, usually the same day. Lower prices, but better service than the big box dealerships where you are just one among hundreds. We highly recommend Memorial Car Care Center.

I dropped my car for a state inspection this week and forgot to leave my insurance. At the end of the day I returned expecting to have to return the next day. After providing my insurance they quickly to care of my inspection.

Went to Memorial car care because my car was stalling. The guys at the front desk were polite and prompt. They were able to diagnose and repair my vehicle in one day! Took my Explorer to Memorial Car Care with a front end noise problem. Their mechanic, Frank, took it out for a test drive with me and accurately diagnosed the problem - right on the button! Brought the vehicle in the next morning early for the repairs. It was done right and on time. I am a happy camper!

I brought my sonic chevy in and it had a screwed up thermostat, all the mechanics and staff made sure that I understood everything that was going on, were great at keeping me informed, and honored my estimate, and did an incredible job fixing my car and making me feel good all way around. Went today at 7:15 with a deflating tire...and I was kindly shown to a minuscule corner where 4 chairs have being cramped and 3 other retired guys where calmly waiting. First time here! But I’ve got to say this was the fastest walk-in oil change. I didn’t have an appointment. I walked in a little after 8AM and was out before 9AM. Kyle was working the front desk and he was very friendly & honest about the prices and what my car needed.The only thing is the location is at the corner of 610 & memorial drive, so getting in and out during rush hour was a bit hectic. But otherwise would come again.

If you want your car repairs done right and fast this is the place. The staff is wonderful and although it wasnt cheap,I drive of happy with the customer service and care service!!

I was here because of an emergency, I got charge 20 bucks just to put a spare on, they charge way too much, the people on front were really rude, nobody helped me or greeted me when I got to the place, I had to just walk around till someone just just pointed towards a door that says employees only .... walked in and nobody was there to help ....honestly just take your car somewhere else, where they are not gonna rip and arm and a leg, and they will be nicer.Of course you won’t find me on your database because my last name isn’t monster.....And Gene you were the one who made me wait 45 min just to tell me that y’all couldn’t repair my tire ....

Each one gave me problems and I swear Ill be purchasing Toyota from now on...but thats a whole different story. Anyhow, Ive been going to Memorial Car Care for the past 5 years now and Kyle and the guys have always taken the best care of me and my vehicles.Ive been given fair pricing, constant updates so that I know when my car will be ready, and ASAP service. They even drove me home a few times when there was no one available to take me.I will continue to come back here for anything as large as a major fix to a small oil change and I thank them for making me feel like me and my car matter.

Well, I took my car here for an inspection. In the process they dented my front bumper by backing another car into mine. They were very professional, friendly, and accommodating in repairing the damage. They offered to provide a rental car (which I didnt really need, so declined), and they picked me up when the car was ready. I wasnt charged for the inspection and came out with a newly cleaned vehicle. They made the best out of an unfortunate situation.

Just went there after going to all these other mechanics. If you do not want to get scammed, these people are the ones for you! They have won my business. And they are triple A certified.1. Dealer told me that something was wrong with my engine- they didnt find any issues2. Last auto body shop (atlas auto) used regular oil even though my car is synthetic.

Vehicle broke down on side of 610 on 5/30/14 Memorial Car Care Center was closest reputable auto repair shop according to many online reviews. Car was towed to shop where it was diagnosed for having an electrical short in the fuel pump circuit. They wanted $109 an hour to do wire tracing. When asked how long they expected it would take to find the wire the response was not comforting, they were not sure could be an hour but maybe more. The vehicle is a 2000 so we decided not to have it fixed and towed it back to the house. Though we did not have the vehicle repaired at Memorial Car Care we were charged a diagnostics fee of $99, very disappointed and felt ripped off.

Jean and Mike are absolutley fantastic. They stay late and come in early to get things doen and know their stuff. They take the time to review all the options and show you the problem. Great team and always willing to answer questions. They work on some nice cars too!

For 19 years, I have been taking my vehicles to Memorial Car Care. The service level is excellent. Their staff is knowledgble , freindly and very efficient.They have worked on 4 different cars of mine for over the period of almost 20 years and I had never needed a second opinion on their work.I am sold to their services as I have known the same people there for 20 years.

Took my car here to find out why the check engine light was on and why it would occasionally just die. They produced a list of at least 10 things, many of which had already just been done to my car. Totaling $4000. They said everything on the list was related to the problem. I paid $107 for them to diagnose a bunch of items that werent necessary. Fast forward to later this week and took it to a trustworthy mechanic. Only 1 item needed to be fixed. Total repair cost was only $600, not $4k!! These people are scammers!!!
