I had a leak in my apartment late one night. I called the Emergency line for maintenance they responded really quickly within 5 minutes of calling they took care of it right there and then and had it prepped for the next morning. They had to repair the ceiling and the carpet where it was submerged with water. They came out and did it within the following day or two and they did an amazing job. Thank you Management for your hard work. Maintenance; you guys are great! Thank you for hard work. πŸ‘

They made sure my stuff didn’t get stolen from my front door. There was no worries anyway because the apartments are safe and quiet and just flat out peaceful... hands down best apartment I’ve ever stayed in. Good People... Good Friendly Neighbors.. I love my apartment but I gave it a three because the walls are extremely thin! Take this warning, if you move in here you will hear everything above, below you and beside you. I can hear simple conversations at a regular volume from my next-door neighbors. My above neighbors won’t stop stomping and walking heavily all day every day no matter what time of day, and their dog runs back-and-forth constantly above me. My below neighbors have a sound system that rattles my whole apartment. And this is at anytime of the day. If you’re OK with noise all around you, you’ll love this place because you can definitely hear everything. But if you’re like me, and like peace and quiet, take a second thought. It is absolutely ridiculous that any company would build apartments with walls that are paper thin. Beside this noise issue, I love my home and the office staff is amazing.

Disappointed in the staff, maintenance and overall experience here. The apartments have now changed management and name, but I see no signs of anything better. A daily walk with the dog, you can see trash everywhere, landscaping not appealing, pool is disgusting, lounge firepit area has NEVER worked and lets not forget the train that goes by ten times a day. Management needs to get it together and focus on the problems at hand. They closed the pool down Saturday saying they didnt notice all the slime, algae and green tent to it. It took my husband to go in and complain. Come to find out they ran out of chemicals and cleaning products along time ago, but still letting people swim it. Amazing and ridiculous!!

I have really enjoyed living here, the staff and maintenance have been absolutely amazing. I was a little nervous selling my 3 bedroom house and moving into an apartment, but that was the best decision I ever made. Maintenance is awesome I had a problem w/my AC and from the time I told the office and the time it was fixed was like 30 min at the max. I just renewed my lease for another year, absolutely love living here.

I have been here for about 6 months and I can honestly say I love it here. I sold my house of 15 years, decided to downsize and it was the best decision I ever made. Liz was amazing walking me through everything and has been so helpful with anything else I have needed. When we had our first cold snap there was something wrong with my heater. I went to the office told them the problem and someone came and replace my thermostat within 15 minutes. All of my family and friends who have visited have said they love my apartment . I will for sure be renewing my lease in August.

Since the new management has arrived, residing at this establish has been a complete and udder nightmare. Lets start by saying, the ONLY decent thing about this place was Jay, Brittney and Nouvea DO NOT follow through on their agreements, and will charges fees on top of fees that are not owed to them. One month I was charged 2000$ for a one bedroom apartment, because they kept returning my cashiers checks and saying I owed late fees, then a 300$ eviction fee, AFTER I went a week without eating to pay them their last fee. I went in and told them that they had me drained of money, and Nouvea wouldnt even look me in the eyes. They also filed my 60 move out letter late, and are charging me extra for that. Had cops beating on my door at midnight, and had sued me. I lost a fantastic job, attempting to go in and resolve this issue, and even after that they are going back on our agreement and are charging me thousands of dollars, and stating that I broke my lease. EVEN AFTER I PAID OUT OF IT. I would live in the backseat of my vehicle any day, before accepting a year of rent free refuge.

The property is gorgeous & we love our apartment. It is so well insulated that we have not had to run either heat or air since moving in a month ago which is a huge savings on our light bill. We downsized from a home to the apartment and have not regretted our decision. We love being apart of this community.

The property is beautiful but the apartment manager is a liar who will always try to turn actual issues into something YOU the resident did, your problems will always be minimized, and the actual workmanship is so shoddy that drawers don’t open properly, the paint job is poor, parking is impossible. When we first moved in, our washing machine spewed water everywhere.More recently, we have had literal sewage spill into our apartment and no one did anything until we were persistent and annoying. Maintenance people will also lie to management about the issues that spring up in your apartment. (Even if professionals are called and they aren’t at ALL involved in the resolution of the issue.)DO NOT recommend.Edit: They have changed management and it’s the same song, verse 2. DO NOT RENT HERE.The complex has trash littered everywhere. There have been nights where we can’t sleep because there are people yelling in the parking lot (airing out their drama, domestic violence, etc). It’s really astonishing how much is tolerated by management. When we have registered noise complaints, they have done nothing. We’ve been talked down to, belittled, and to be honest, I don’t feel safe living here.

WORST EXPERIENCE I have ever had when apartment shopping . I drive by the apartment complex daily and was thrilled to finally check it out ! As soon I as walked in I had to wait 20 minutes for someone to even acknowledge me and my mom . Next when I said I would like to see the apartments the lady kept drilling us about prices which was something we arent worried about . We wanted to see the quality of the space . So she finally takes us to her office and pulls up the online floor plans (they ran out of printed ones) she gave us ATTITUDE when we said we wanted to see all one bedrooms . AFTER 10 minutes of constant attitude from the lady and not having my ID ( which you have to have ) - my mom had hers . The lady told us to have a great day and to leave ,.. even tho we werent even getting up : HORRIBLE COSTUMER SERVICE !! I went from going in wanting to buy to making sure everyone I know doesnt step a foot in that HORRIBLE STAFFED apartment complex.

I moved into Echelon at West Lake when they first opened under Alliance. When I first moved in I had a few issues but everything was resolved in a timely fashion. I was shocked when I walked into the office one day and realized we had an all new staff and management company. I had never lived or experienced Roscoe Properties but Paul the manager was awesome. Anytime I had questions or concerns he and his staff were punctual and attentive. I lived in the one bedroom with attached garage and loved my apartment. The interior color scheme was very modern and stylish. Being in New Home construction I understand that issues can arise when moving into a brand new community. Fortunately I never experienced any of the issues or concerns other residents have discussed but maybe I was lucky. During my stay, and even after move out the staff at Echelon impressed me. Ill refer everyone I know and may come back if I get relocated back to Houston. I already miss the fitness studio and cycle room. So my review on this apartment complex might change, but for now I am not totally satisfied with everything. Me and my boyfriend moved here 2 months ago and we absolutely love our floor plan. Everything about our actual apartment is perfect! Whoever built this place did an amazing job, which is why I am so mad about the management team. It’s a beautiful property but you have some messed up company come and run it. The complex was just bought by another company which I was trying to give them time to get settled, but as a past supervisor, I think they have had enough time. It’s not like they are doing renovations, so I am not sure why things have been so bad! We finally got our grass cut after 3 weeks and the grass looks HORRIBLE! The landscaping has not been kept up. We used to have a cleaning company come and actually clean the building and that hasn’t been done since Paul, the last manager. Other residents leave their trash and dog poop EVERYWHERE, so that means no one is coming around to pick it up. Well I did see Carlos but Paul used to walk around this complex so much. Yeah he was bad on the paper side, but this building was clean. If the new manager and her team would leave the office and actually walk the complex, she would see that she needs to send out notices about certain things. No one has touched the pool since Paul as well and I don’t know if it’s the rain, but the pool was definitely green for almost a week. It’s just sad because the property is so beautiful. For the last two weeks I’ve been walking my dog and I am definitely reconsidering not resigning my lease. My boyfriend and I were going to stay here until we brought a house, but we pay too much money for the outside to look that way.

Still have a giant crack next to the counter top and the wall, there still is no weather stripping under our front sort which allows bugs in, there is no light in the laundry room all you have is the one light from the hallway. There is no insulation in my sons closet it stays 15-20 degrees hotter in his closet and his room as a result. We have to keep a fan in our stairway coming upstairs because there is not an ax vent in the stairway or the hallway to keep the hot air from coming up. They have yet to finish the pool, gas grill and fire pit and we have been moved in since October.

My wife and I moved here when the complex was named The Echelon. So when we found that another company purchased the property like others we were worried. But I must say it hasnt been terrible as we thought. First of all generally speaking bad reviews are almost always given instead of good ones most of the time which is why I wanted to give my review. The staff for me and my family have gone out of their way to be very accommodating to our problems and concerns to also go out of their way to help even when they didnt have too. The repairs we have needed have always been taken care of in a timely manner which none have been major. The floorplans are spacious and appliances are first class. The property is tranquil as well as appealing to the eye. So before you make a decision pay a visit to the staff of the point; take a tour and allow the staff to answer any questions you may have. Trust me ive stayed at enough apartments since moving to Texas to be thankful I have a management team I can rely on so I can simply come home and relax.

I really only give a 1/4 star. The management here are non chalant, and unconcerned with what residents have. We moved here under Echelon, the people above us were quiet. Since then We have people above us that havent apparently lived in a upstairs apartment before or just ghetto. They walk the floors constantly like theyre on something. From 4:30 a.m. to 7:45 a.m., from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m, the same thing. When You knock on the walls or ceiling, they come down and try to intimidate or fight. Im a disabled veteran with PTSD. Its only so much I can take. Our lease is up and paperwork suddenly shows up now saying we have to have 60 days noticeto vacate after new management came in and We didnt sign a thing that said that with Echelon. It was enough We are Hurricane Harvey victims. If any veteran is reading this, beware, theres no veteran discount or benefits. Our inconsiderate neighbors intentionally walk the floor and walk like its a family of Bigfoot that live upstairs and rattle the lights and pictures on the wall. Apparently due to no insulation between floors and our neighbors dont know what house shoes are. If We have to put up with this kind of mayhem and daily disturbance and pay $1200 to $1300 a month for a one bedroom, also an ever growing inflated fees. We would have passed this place up when We were looking. Now that management is trying to make us spend more money to stay here. I will not go through management about our concerns, because it doesnt matter. Theyre not concerned. We currently waiting to talk to CRES Management. Maybe well get some clarification. Also being entrapped in this presidential temper tantrum, we are forced to leave after our lease is up. My wife and I are retired federal govt. employees. Management has no care of what debt we go into, as long as they get their money. They insist We pay rent for an additional 30 days. Money We wont have .

Disclaminer** (Review for former name Echelon at Westlake).I wasnt going to write anything because I do not have much information on the new management. But my experience was so poor that I felt I needed to.My family moved into this apartment just after construction. BRAND NEW. But they were not move in ready, the HVAC was broken for almost a full month and delayed our move in, the hot water heater didnt work and two light switches didnt work (not the bulbs, the switches themselves). I had two random holes in the ceiling where they had clearly messed up the mounting of the light fixture. They did patch them, but never painted it. When AT&T came to install WIFI they said the internal wiring was extremely poor and defective in the bedroom, forcing them to set up my router elsewhere. Maintenance requests were a joke, VERY unqualified. I would send requests through the office and the maintenance staff would tell me to find them in the complex and not report it. Instead of fixing the HVAC, I was instructed on how to drain the overflow my system to avoid the shut off switch. The hot tub at the pool broke in our first month and never got fixed in our 9 month stay, I was told by Paul that it was expensive and that it needed to wait, even though that was an amenity that we payed for every month. We had a huge fire ant problem that was never addressed, I had to wait weeks because the pest control wasnt scheduled yet (it still never went away). To top it all off, Paul , the site manager was very incapable. He was very rude, and always avoided problems. When I finally got to move out, I was trying to pay my last bill online but the website was down. He told me that it was a new system and that it would be back up and running in a few days. I called 4-5 times over two weeks, he kept reassuring me that it would be back up soon... fast forward another week. Check online again and see that Echelon is no longer the name and the it has changed ownership. He never told me! I finally got in touch with the management at The Pointe and was able to pay my last month, but with a $44 service fee, compliments of the new management....I cannot speak much to The Pointe, and I really hope they are adequate. But I would still recommend finding another apartment complex if you can. Stay away.

The Condo manager, Paul, knew we would only be staying there for a few months, but knowing we were short timers made no difference to Paul or his office staff. They are the best! We could not have been treated any better. Paul has gone above and beyond to make us comfortable and to meet any needs we had. This has been a difficult time for us being away from family, but we have been treated like family here at Echelon. The unit is beautifully decorated, very spacious, and grounds are meticulously maintained. We have had no issues what so ever. We highly recommend Echelon Condos and, especially, Paul and his staff. I have lived here for 5 months and am counting down the days until I can get out. My terrible experience started before I ever even moved in. I worked with the (then) manager, signed a lease and set my move in date for Feb 11th. The week before move in I was calling and emailing to iron out details and arrange getting my keys. No response. The day before moving in (I came from Sugar Land) I ended up having to stop by just to get answers and there was all new management and staff. Come to find out my apartment wasnt even ready. I had to go month-to-month at my old place which cost me a fortune, lost a 300 dollar deposit on my movers and had to change the dates on all of the normal move in ready stuff like cable, internet and electricity. I didnt end up getting to move in until March 22nd.Whoever built this place clearly paid ZERO attention to detail. Seems to me they build them in a hurry just to start making their money back. The fact that they call these things luxury apartments is comical. There were random nails sticking out of my carpet, large yellow spots in my granite counter tops that are huge eye sores. They clearly didnt use tape when painting bc theres gray baseboard paint splashed all over the white walls. The refrigerator is too large for the space provided so the freezer door doesnt even open all the way. No ceiling fans in the living room or second bedroom. Kitchen drawers do not open smoothly due to the wheels being installed on the wrong side. I was missing shelves in the cupboards. Window screens were missing, plastic was still hanging off of the dish washer with user manual still inside. The list goes on. No where near move in ready. It took 6 weeks for the move in checklist items to be fixed and thats only because I complained several times. Ive had black widow AND scorpion problems INSIDE my unit. It took them over a week to send pest control. I have a 10 year old son so you can imagine my outrage. We didnt even stay at our apartment for almost 2 weeks because I was too scared my son or I would be bitten. You think I was compensated for that? Nope. They couldnt care less. This place is CRAWLING with bugs and spiders and wasps and scorpions and any other creature you can think of. I asked them to come pressure spray the outside of my unit, because, dead bugs attract live ones and it becomes a vicious cycle. And what did they do? They sent someone with a broom to take down the webs. Subpar job. And the spiders are back. The entire property needs to be pressure sprayed. To this day I shake out my shoes before putting them on and my bedding before sleep looking for scorpions. Ridiculous.I feel terrible for the maintenance man. Theres only one. Hes very nice and does a great job at fixing whatever you need but he is only one man. They need more staff. But theyre too cheap to hire help. This past Sunday morning, while out of town for the Holiday, I received a phone call from the office asking me when I was going to pay my rent....it was the morning of the 2nd. Its not late until the 4th....So why in gods name are you calling me? Tacky and unprofessional. Ive never been late. Its clear they are desperate for money and cut every corner possible to save. But its only hurting them in the end. Im basically being raped each month I pay my rent. 1600 a month for all this BS? I dont know how they sleep at night charging that kind of cash for these UNluxurious apartments. I am currently taking steps to move out of this place. The manager has ZERO people skills. May as well be a robot. Very monotone and unapologetic all the time. He should not be in customer service. Every conversation feels like youre bothering him. The only nice one is Drew, but I mean, shes the one who called me curious as to when I was going to pay my rent, so? Moral of the story, find your home somewhere else. Ive lived in several apartment homes and this has by far been the worst experience Ive ever had and I literally want to throw up in my mouth a little every time I click the pay rent button each month.
