Sydney is absolutely amazing! She went above and beyond to help me the two times I went there. Unfortunately, due to the small closet space, no patio, and no pantry at the unit I looked at that was in my budget, I chose elsewhere. But the customer service is TOP TIER and the location can not be beat! I am bummed that I wont be a resident there, but maybe in the future.

I toured all the properties in the City Center area and Domain has the best customer service hands down. Arie greeted me at the door and with no hesitation walked me into the leasing where the team greeted me. The process wasnt rushed like most tours. She actually wanted to know what my likes and dislikes were. The property is gorgeous and well kept. I spoke about my experience with the other properties in the area and she said Im sorry you experienced that and never spoke negative about them. I met Tam who is a burst of energy while on tour also. I can go on and on about the customer service. Yes the property is not updated but the office staff is amazing.

I was looking for a cool place to live and stumbled across this place. I recently moved in here in February 2021. I have to say I am very happy with my decision. My leasing agent, Tammy and my maintenance staff. have been nothing short of Amazing! I would totally recommend this place to live! I love the vibe here it’s like city life but nicer!

Location, Location, Location...Perfect location. Apartment is the best of the area for space and amenities. Kourtney, the leasing agent, was friendly, professional and offered a level of customer service and respect that is rarely seen in business these days. Kudos to her and management for hiring her - the other properties dont compare!

Overpriced for the rent you pay. Inside the apartment is very old, starting from the hardwood floor, kitchen, bathroom, doors are really very old and old fashion. If you smart enough go and compare neighbouring communities around city center area. All of other apartments near side are luxury, new, amazing and either same price or less than you’ll pay here at Domain! Another important thing I’d like to mention is one of the maintenance guy who is responsible for the trash rooms all the time not wearing mask since the start of COVID last year. He just spy on people at the pool and many times we find him doing nothing just walking around in the corridors between apartments. That happened many times and which is really weird. We start feeling uncomfortable at this place:(P.S I’d like to add something very important, if you want to really know the luxury of the place that you’re living in, see how they respond during storms and hurricane! We had a miserable experience during the winter storm! No electricity for 45 hours and no water at all for five (5) continues days.

Living at the Domain at City Centre has been amazing! The location is perfect, the units are beautiful, and we love the amenities provided. Not to mention the entire process of finding the apartment was made as simple as possible with the help of the Smart City Apartment team! I would highly recommend the Domain to those in search of an apartment, as well as working with the Smart City!

These are all of the screenshots of the maintenance requests Ive put in in the LAST 5 MONTHS - I moved in July (even though lease was June) and have submitted close to 30 reviews.I love the location, but my god.Other issues:- The key fob had to be repaired a numerous of times- Constant urine smell- Doesnt feel entirely safe- Way too overpriced. Paying almost 2200 a month for all of tis- Awful insulation- Can hear ALL THE NOISE- SUPER hot as hell in the apartment- there is literally 0 to none lighting in the apartment. Its super dark.If I can attach all the back and forth emails, I would.Counting down the days that our lease is over. I have never, ever lived in such an awful apartment.

We love living at the Domain/Lofts at CityCentre! It has a luxurious vacation feel in the perfect dining/shopping city center. The management and staff always goes above and beyond to keep the property and amenities in perfect condition! Me and my boyfriend did a virtual tour with Ariyon and she was so friendly. we did a tour of the city center area and the unit. it was like talking to your best friend on facetime. She was so funny and personable, I cant wait to see the area in person.

After living happily in The Lofts East for 3 years, an unfortunate accident (mine) forced me to vacate my apartment and move to another in the building. Jamie and Kourtney helped me through one of the most difficult days/evenings of my life with amazing kindness and understanding.Several days later Kourtney shepherded me through the process of acquiring a new apartment. Again, I was treated with patience and kindness. Kourtney went above and beyond to accommodate my requests and answer my questions.I will never forget what their consideration and assistance has meant to me.

I want to share how great the people in the maintenance department here are. Today Luis came in response to requests that were just put in this morning. There were several issues that have been building up and he fixed everything. He is so good at what he does and very polite. He also helped us very much with several tasks when we moved into the apartment last November. We have also received excellent help from Raul and Elvy and some people whose names I do not recall. Everyone is very pleasant and incredibly skilled. They are very much appreciated.

I like this apartment and I can say the best place to live in. The community and the environment are good. Daring to say one bad point, the provided internet connectivity is very bad. It disconnects everyday. I must go to office or I must use my mobile phone for an important meeting. I want the apartment to improve this point. Especially, now I must work from home due to the virus problem. This problem is serious for me.

No communication from staff to residents when we first moved in. We were told we would get amenity access and after moving in we were told we dont and now have to pay extra if we would want access.Access to main building has dice then (since bad reviews) been granted. Tall guy at front office is just rude, suggested my roommates were lying and it was impossible for them to have access to the main building, didnt want to fix my fob. Terrible customer service experience.

Do not be fooled by the City Centre hype. They recently changed their name from “lofts at city centre” to one name brand under “domain at city centre”. By far the WORST apartment living experience I have EVER had to deal with. Management is extremely rude and and incompetent. You ask them a question about anything and they respond with “I don’t know” before you can even finish your sentence. Crime is on the rise there as well. My boyfriends truck got broke into, as well as three of our neighbors (this was all in the span of 4 months). Do NOT MOVE HERE if you want a a decent living experience. There is a reason why their occupancy rate is so low.

If I could leave zero stars I would. I had TWO STOLEN TRUCKS OUT OF THE DOMAIN!!!! After the first one Jaime the manager of the property told me “this never happens here” and did nothing to address the issue of zero security or lack of gate closures of this supposed high end apartment complex. 5 months later it happened again. They took zero accountability and zero ownership to protect my property. In fact the detective said “man this apartment needs to address they’re stolen car issues because I get a ton of reports out of here”.As a tenant I pay my bills, am a good neighbor, and mind my business and all I ask in return from management is that they protect my property. They don’t care about you or your property and are a pitiful excuse of an ethical business.

4 years; the staff really pays attention to our needs of the residents and the communication is open and immediate. Thank you!

Rude staff! Was here June 22 at 12pm we needed help coming in staff came out and stated do we not know how to read. Then we each exchanged words she said she was talking to the other delivery person not me . I asked her to help since she was there she stayed learn to read the sign and that she had the door open why not go in . Nothing but rudeness thankful for her service lol

I was a resident for three years through June 2020. The staff was always friendly and helpful. The complex and amenities were kept in great condition. Management handled Covid-19 very well in my opinion.

I’m not a resident yet I was just looking. The leasing agent who showed me around was horrible! She didn’t even introduce herself so I don’t even know her name. I was the one asking the questions about the property and her answers were very short. She didn’t show me the gym she just pointed at the business center or lounge area didn’t even show me. She made me write down the cost of the amenities she didn’t even want to write it down for me because I asked she didn’t even let me know. I can do her job better! She was very nice to the people before me. Maybe because I was Latina and she thought she was wasting her time. I will call back and speak to the manager because the property itself is ok I mean it’s Citycentre it’s nice but the service was horrible honestly the worst I have ever had at an apartment complex and this was the most expensive so I guess they pick and choose who they want to be extra nice to. Stay safe people!Update: Kourtney is awesome! I saw the apartment the next day with my leasing agent Rain and Kourtney and she was very apologetic and took us on a great tour. We applied and now🤞 Thank you Kourtney!

I have been in contact with Lofts at City Centre for a few months now, expressing my interest in living there, and have had an amazing experience to say the least. Holly, in particular, has been wonderful in ensuring that all my questions are answered and needs are met. I do not think I would have made the decision to move there in August without all of her help. I look forward to my move in date and know for certain it will be a great experience much due to the friendly and helpful Holly:)

Nice luxurious and well maintained apartments. Very conveniently located and connected. Also the management is very prompt in their service calls and maintenance needs. Its a great community to make friends especially if you are new to the area. Lots of food options and fun activities all around that you can walk to everywhere.

I live in the West building. The location is great. The shopping and restaurants are so convenient. However, for a “luxury” property...there is a real issue with the cleanliness of the building. There is dog urine inside all over the building and the main lobby reeks of it constantly. Management does nothing about it. There is urine, feces, vomit, and trash throughout the building on any given day. I’m ashamed to have visitors. And I have to hold my nose as I cringe walking through the building or in the elevator. I just don’t understand what kind of people do this to what could be a very nice building. But further I don’t understand why management doesn’t do anything to curb it. They admittedly tell me over and over that there’s not much they can do. Send a strongly-worded email! Put up a camera or two! Something! This place is ghetto on the inside and it’s a real shame!

Gorgeous luxury place to live!

Im in a unit near the front. The management has made a great effort reaching out to work on the issues, for which I am very grateful.Good amenities, the best staff, great location. Pool is very nice, outdoor pace is nice, and of course the prime location. Yes, it is very noisy if you live near the front though.

Nothing to brag about! Love the area and convenience of living within City Centre. Valet trash & amenities fee is far to expensive considering I NEVER use the valet because the trash shoot is RIGHT next to my apartment.

I have lived in a few different apartments over the years. My best experience by far though has been with the Lofts. Nicole, Rico, Jessica, and the entire staff are great at making you feel right at home. I had a maintenance request and it was resolved within 24 hours. You could not ask for a better location. The apartments are located right next to several restaurants, the best gym in Houston, and tons of shopping. I enjoy the convenience of never having to leave the area. I have zero complaints about these apartments and would highly recommend them.

I have been at the Lofts at City Centre for 2 months and love it! It is wonderful to be in the center of tons of activity. The management are always helpful and address my questions/issues immediately. And it is super pet-friendly!

This review is for Rico, he is amazing!I recently toured the property with Rico and decided to apply, due to the layout of the property, the clean feeling, and the proximity to the schools and my work. Rico is a great conversationalist and did a fantastic job of giving me the property details. (He really did sell me on the place!) I was told it would take about 24 hours to get an approval, so after not hearing something back for a couple of days I became nervous, but shrugged it off and figured maybe applying on the start of the weekend had something to do with it.I called Rico after a few days of and he was surprised I hadnt heard back, since he could see that my application was approved, I just needed to send in my proof of income. Turns out, my application was hung up in another leasing agents system who had been out of the office. Rico worked quickly to have this issue resolved and did a fantastic job communicating with me on next steps and assuring me that things were fine, it was just a system glitch.I look forward to moving to this property and seeing Ricos smiling face and fun bowties :)

Great place with great people. Have lived here for 3 years, just cant beat living in city centre, the lifestyle is something special and the domain and its amenities just amplify it.Initially I had issues with the internet. It is provided by the Domain which is an added plus now. Thank you for making the updates that were needed they paid dividends during this pandemic as most of us workfrom home.Ill go ahead and address a few other reviews. Yes they are true, there has been break ins and issues with guards and doors but they have really fixed it. Added 8 feet of gate fencing and much better security. You also have the benefit of City Centre security that rides their carts across the perimeter and plenty of police patrol, its Memorial City and in a really well to do community. Brand new doors to address locking issues. They got the job done and thats all you can ask, they fixed what was broken and I am grateful for that.

Whenever there is residence parking issue it is never easy to fix, for example the elevator to parking is broken almost monthly, or if your reserved parking slot is occupied by others you have to call service on your own and wait... Since the property management is changed to Domain it is now even more difficult to get help from management team. One of the senior staff Recoe is always helpful and I will definitely miss him.

Gorgeous TOP NOTCH LUXURY style loft homes. Lofts are super spacious with great amenities. They are also kept clean and quite. Love, Love greystar! The staff is always amazing and attentive. Plus being inside of City Center your in reach of some of the best food and all shopping Houston has to offer. Rico is a rockstar and together with Cece you have an amazing team to lean on that make you feel like your speaking more with friends than leasing staff. Living here is a wonderful experience and I recommend it to anyone who is looking!

My boyfriend had an event nearby and parked in the garage that’s shared between retails and residents. They have a ridiculously unnoticeable sign for the reserved area if you turn left at the top of the balcony you will completely miss the sign, so we mistakenly parked at someone’s space. Now his car is towed, we called up three property numbers everything went automated. We don’t even know where his car is after calling several tow company numbers! This apartment property needs to rethink strategies not to put anyone in this kind of misery anymore!!! We are going to have to pay few hundred dollars for YOUR MISTAKE and we will seek justice on this matter!!!!! You do not even deserve one star!!!!

I wanted to express my satisfaction with Kourtney. When we first came to City Centre, she made me feel so welcome. She explained the Domain and the renting process thoroughly, and her bubbly personality put me at ease. Shes always friendly when I see her around the property or around City Centre. Kourtneys one of the reasons I renewed the lease.I hope Grey Star recognizes her as a valued employee.

Management office isnt in the building most of the time, so they have to walk over from the neighboring building. They also lost a package of mine. It was delivered and I checked with them twice to see if they had it, they assured me they didnt. Guess what showes up 3 weeks later... my pacakage that was with them. This is just one of the bad encounters ive had with this appartment complex.

Management (Jamie Blevins):Jamie has poor time management skills and does not take ownership of manners and tasks at hand. She does not exert true professionalism as tenants have to go out of their way just too simply communicate with her. Maintenance requests have been outstanding for over a week and no active follow up. The leasing agents and managers seem to lack direction under Jamie. I personally have gone out of my way to meet Jamie in person and she was unavailable at her property on seven different occasions. I went there one time and she was on break/lunch and requested not to be bothered. Im amazed a community manager in a professional environment and apartment community behaves the way that she does and is in the position that she is in. She does not accept responsibility and has an excuse for every miscommunication and fails to uphold any promises/agreements, at all times. She is great at pointing fingers to others so she doesnt look like she is at fault. She creates a very hostile environment. Overall, Jamie should be seriously reconsidered for Community manager.

I enjoy living here. I moved in July 2012 after my house burned down. Insurance company told me to find a temporary place to live and I always wondered what it would be like to live in City Centre. Why not? My insurance company said it was ok so I moved in. It is like living in the middle of a trendy bubble where I am within a 5 min walk from most of the best bars and restaurants on the west side of Houston.The pool is more of a lounging pool than anything. A great spot to kick back a few drinks and soak up the sun. My favorite is the grilling area where it is designed more-less as an outdoor living room. The pool/grill area is a very good place to host a party (as I have on more than one occasion). The other amenities I have used are the business center and the indoor lounge. One of the best things about being a resident here is the 10% off most bars, restaurants and retail stores here for just being a resident.Warning: Initially moving in will make you want to go out every night to take advantage of the convenience of hanging out in City Centre.People who live here are typically foreign expatriates that work for oil and gas companies. I would say of socializing with residence here and there the vast majority of people here are on the company dime. My neighbors are pretty cool. Like many places similar to this place there are a number of trophy type girl friends and wives but otherwise I feel really good here.Nothing is perfect so there are always one or two things that could be better. Resident parking could be better. Whoever designed the garage didnt realize how small the spaces were. Small spaces and the pain in the butt support columns dont help trying to park. The experience has made me become an expert at parking in small places. Assigned parking is $100 a month per car otherwise find a parking spot that isnt labeled reserved. That is really my only issue with this place.

My sister woke up to a unfamiliar neighbor standing over her while she was sleeping. Now she sees him in the parking garage and it makes her have severe panic attacks. This apartment not only won’t won’t look into this occurrence, but also won’t work with her on getting off her lease. Very scary and disturbing.

Very Loud. Parking attendants honk horns constantly to lock parked cars and always block drive areas. Motor club cars rev engines late at night. Front office personnel are not professional and are not customer friendly. My 15 yr old daughter had a stranger knocking on the door while I was away. Called the front office to go over and help her. They would not go to apartment to check on things because the were scared....seriously. Horrible experience. Avoid this place at all cost!!!!

This place was better when it was new -- now, theres no parking for visitors of residents. If you move here, recognize you probably wont be able to host a Friday or Saturday night dinner party.

To start , I lived all over from Seattle to Portland and now Houston so Ive had my fair share of experience living in apartments. This is such a beautiful community with great amenities but awful staff besides Kourtney. Shes the epitome of an awesome leasing staff. Ive had several incidents with management. First incident that was apparently wearing a thong at the pool, Im sorry but I would never wear such an explicit clothing in a family pool( I do have a larger bottom and due to that sometimes bottoms dont fit properly but its minimum of two fingers thick) plus I always tried wearing a chiffon to cover from the pool to my apartment. I think its not only petty but harassing to approach me at the pool and tell me Im breaking dress violation where there are plenty of other ladies wearing skimpy cleavage that doesnt even cover a nipple and getting intoxicated while their kids at the pool. after that , I didnt feel uncomfortable coming to the pool because it was one constant pestering after another. the second thing that made me want to move out was they had to inspect and install lock system for bottom floors and didnt even a 24 hour notice and just decided to barge into my living space which it didnt give me enough time to lock my pets and when I came back home , had notice that not only they came in without permission yet had left a mess and someone had step on my petsaccident and wiped on my living room rug. ( of course after I went into the office to complain, they had decided to clean) and knowing they went in before the 24hr notice, by law any property manager or landlord has to give that notice then enter the premises I checked the email when it was sent and obviously didnt add up to the time frame they were supposed to come in. Lastly , after Harvey they had to inspect there was no water damages so when this temp leasing agent came in , I was present and had placed my two small chihuahuas on my bed while she did her job and we were just having conversation. My pets were barking since they didnt know this stranger and she thought it would be smart to reach out and put her hand out to two dogs that are barking and we continued to chit chat and she left.Later that day, after two hours to be exact I received an email about how one of my dogs had bitten the leasing agent and had to provide shot records or they would have to call Harris County. ( which the question that raised was dont they already records of my pets current vaccinations?) and If in fact, my pet did bite her. why not say something at that time ? so I could have corrected my dog, and not wait two hours later and complain to their supervisor Jaimie and then make up an issue out of it. Not only it was disrespectful and unprofessional. And, if you like to be woken up at 4am due to faulty fire alarms and pay 2,1370 for

Phenomenal location!! Energetic, fun, and lively! I absolutely loved living here and it was an amazing experience (had to move to a different part of town).The staff members are very down to earth friendly people. Necole was an outstanding manager and is super nice! She really cares about any concern you have and wants to help which is a huge positive. Also, Rico is awesome! Anytime I had an issue, he would go above and beyond and really cares about helping you resolve it.The apartment itself is beautiful and very modern. I really enjoyed the design and the wood floors. Everything is near you, restaurants, entertainment, lifetime fitness and much more.Again this location is very energetic, fun, and lively, so if you want to live in a library like environment, then you might want to keep looking at other places. Make sure to have your garage parking space figured out and you should be fine.If you enjoy live music, great food selections, convenient nearby locations such as Randalls, Walgreens etc, and luxurious living, super quiet neighbors (mine were beyond quiet) then this place might be for you.

Location is great, and everything else is downhill from there! That is what gets it 1 star.1) Building is very very poorly constructed. Windows are leaking, and so is the roof. Noise is alsoproblematic, regardless of where your apartment is facing. This was problem with my apartment.My storage unit on the second floor also leaked and destroyed my computers.2) Parking: residents have reserved parking spots, but there are parking crashers from timeto time. Given that it is a busy area, garage might be full, and you are out of luck. Towingcompany contracted by management has trucks that are too big to enter the garage...so you arestuck. This happened to me and my neighbours3) Billing: Expect to get 3-4 times per year incorrect bill regarding rent. Happens often. Consideringthat grace period for rent is 3 days, I always pay rent on the 3rd. I also recieved eviction noticeon March 4th, having paid rent on the third.4) Answering service after hours is from time to time not turned on. When you need security, youmight be out of luck. My experience5) When you complain about issues, management tells you to deal with it as things happen. Whilenobody disputes things beyond persons control, customer service is not good.If you can deal with all these issues while paying a premium for this property, this is a place for you

I had to move to Houston fast for a job. I contacted three places online that were located near where I wanted to be. Within one hour I received a call from Cecille with The Loft. Cecille was great. She provided me with interior pictures of a unit that was open and all the information I needed to make a decision. Once I filled out an application and received word of my approval I was able to set up electricity and my renters insurance as required. It was all done in less than 24 hours. I was able to pack up my vehicle and drive to Houston knowing that I would have a great place to live when I arrived. Upon checking in Cecille had left everything I needed in an envelope. Rico did a wonderful job handing over the keys and showing me around. I love my new place and I have nothing but compliments for the friendly management staff.

In City Centre, you have your choice of options. The Lofts at City Centre is one of those choices, and it is a good one. It’s proximity to LifeTime Fitness, and other City Centre amenities, such as a handful of walkable live music venues Thursday through Sunday make it an appealing option. But why the Lofts over The Domain, Pearl, Ascent, or other nearby options? Outside of the obvious, Price, you have an excellent staff. Nicole has empowered her team to work with you. They won’t try to push you into unaffordable long-term contracts. But it goes beyond signing a lease. Recoe and Cecille will certainly try to become your friends. Even after you have signed a lease, you will find them helpful, mindful, and always curious about finding new ways to make your day or week a little better.I’ve lived at the Domain and currently rent a three bedroom in the Lofts which I upgraded from a two bedroom after a year.

We originally planned to move into The Lofts. They placed us in a temporary unit there until our apartment was supposed to be available. Somehow, they were not able to give us our apartment we had a deposit down for. I was not impressed with them at all. Dog pee was in the elevators, parking was a nightmare, noise was unbearable because we were in the tower next to Beltway. The front office staff was nice, but in no way compares to the staff at the Domain.I was initially concerned when I read some of the reviews online about the Domain. From what I can see after living here, a new management team came in. I deal with Jamelah the most in the front office and shes extremely professional and very pleasant. I am very happy with the service and the apartment itself. The people living here are nice, as they were at the Lofts. This place has a very nice pool, work out room, game room, movie room, Starbucks coffee bar, etc. which the Lofts dont have any of this except a small gym and coffee with mini Styrofoam cups. There is always open parking in the garage. I rarely hear noise, and I even live above the garage entrance. Once a barking dog woke me up at 7am, but thats all Ive got haha. Weve been here for a few months now and absolutely love it. City Centre itself is unbelievably convenient and a lot of fun.

I lived there for a year and this place is really really awful. I moved out 8 months ago and so far I have not received my deposit check back yet, . The location is overrated, after a while it really gets old. The parking and management really sucks. DO NOT MOVE THERE. there are many other places nearby that are really nicer and cheaper. I moved to San Montego apartments, 10 min away from CityCentre, I am paying $800 less and couldnt be happier with the apartment and location.

Love living here. Neighbors and community is great. Fabulous pool. Walkability to restaurants, bars and shopping can not be beat.FYI I am shocked to have just read a bad review about Jamie, the manager. Since her arrival she has been othing but kind and helpful. She had just arrived before my brother was killed in May 2014 and she didnt even know me but went out of her way to make sure I was ok. I could go on and on and have never found her to ve anything but approachable, professional, compassionate and helpful. Wgoever wrote that review hasnt a clue.

This is the worst experience I’ve ever had renting. Management are not nice people
