Update!!!!! I changed my review. I would like to let you all know that the problem was addressed. I no longer have this issue. The pest control and the maintenance came out and patched up holes, put traps and poison out. Also, the office staff was very attentive when it came to acknowledging the problem and fixing it. Thank you to the staff everyone who help me out. I currently still live here and they are updating the property as well as gardening upkeep.They have Rats! Not mice! Rats! I called the front office and put in a service request for pest control. The man came and sprayed for roaches! This is unacceptable, unsafe, and not livable conditions. I currently live here now. I am very unhappy. Terrified and traumatized by this living environment. Here are pictures below to prove it. Also this is multiple different rats not just one.

Toured with Lanisha today I arrived super early right when they opened she was super sweet, very informative, answered all my questions & gave me a good feel of the community. I am definitely narrowing down my options & chateaux will be one of my top choices, I will recommend anyone to come here & ask for her!

Im on a tight budget and needed a two bedroom that accepts large dogs and has a gas stove. I found all my needs met and my expectations were exceeded. I didnt expect very much for the price point, but my unit was recently upgraded with a new gas stove, faucet, and fridge.The skylight in the kitchen is a nice touch and brick walls mean I cant hear my neighbors.The staff is very nice to me too.

I would definitely change this if only management, maintenance personnel and staff had better communication it was been MONTHS ,calls,emails, notes left for the manager and we will tell maintenance to go over and not one person has been reaching out to see if they have fixed the issue, it keeps getting worse. I am sure that if I where to be one day behind on rent everyone would be calling etc but on their part it is upsetting how not one single thing has been done in the apartment, and now mold build up!!. The door Dont close properly, paint job has been done horrible, doors Dont lock, every time it rains theres water coming in, basically a whole list that supposedly this staff is not responsible or aware of because it was another company managing the apartments at the time we moved in

This is the worst apartment I have ever lived in! The surrounding area is good. But we have been here for 6 months and they havent fixed anything. We dont have a proper working stove, refrigerator or dishwasher (which I was told would be replaced when we moved in). We have a large sliding glass door that has shades they took from another apartment with a shorter ceiling so the shades only cover half the window, allowing our neighbors to see us whenever were in the living room. This apartment complex also has a BAD ROACH PROBLEM and even though you pay for extermination each month we have never had one done after multiple request. They came out one time and said they did the work but I showed the office our camera video which showed they opened the door stood there for a few minutes and left without doing anything. They should also not be allowed to say they have a laundry room. The laundryroom is owned by a third party and they say they are not responsible for it. Its is always dirty and most of the time nearly every washing machine is out of order.

The staff from Chateaux Dijon are simply the best! Great people, they are all super friendly and informative, super polite and funny too!We had been looking for an apartment for a long time but we didnt found anything that fulfilled our needs. When we found these apartments and went there to ask for information, since the very first time we walked into the leasing office, they treated us very well and really went above and beyond to help us and seemed to perfectly understand the situation we were in.I am very grateful for them! Shout-out to Wendy and Milazia.Last but not least, the place is beautiful, we love our apartment, the layout is perfect for us! I recommend 100%.

Cheap rent for the amount of space and mediocre maintenance.The Office Staff are nice, but I lived in a unit with Standing water for well over a month and I was misinformed of the repairs.Charged Month to Month fees that were never in my Lease agreement, nor in the renewal offer.Get used to seeing roaches every week as well.

I recently visited Chateaux Dijon for a two bedroom and had such a great experience! Location is GREAT, in The Galleria area so easy access to major freeways. The office is cute with very friendly employees! I was greeted by Susana and she made me feel like I was at home chit chatting with a friend. She took the time to go through her availability and sizes with me. She showed me the renovated model and all the amenities. The two bedroom I saw was vey spacious and she explained the renovations taking place. Very impressed by the work being put into them. Im still looking in the area, but this is def at the top of my list!

I found the place to call HOME. After, so much research, I visited this community and I was very impressed by the camaraderie from the staff. This community is clean and smells great. Amanda was very helpful and answered all my questions honestly and made me feel like a resident from the moment I walked in. Wendy and Lanisha are great, super bubbly personalities. Look no further, I did not have to.

I have been a resident for about 7 months now and not only is the staff friendly, but the maintenance has been very quick. CAF Management has taken over the property and is bringing this wonderful property back to life.Susanna, and the staff are easy to deal with and always there to help get things done.Friendly neighbors, great floor plans and a perfect place to live. I would suggest, if you are looking for a place to live and you want a place with character, nice neighbors in a great part of town.....Chateaux Dijon is the place.

The Chateaux Dijon is one of the few apartment complexes I am glad to be able to call home. There is a very tight knit community present throughout the property. The units themselves and the surrounding area have a great deal of character. The floor plans offer good amounts of space at a very reasonable price. There really is no place like the Chateaux Dijon

Was working on an International Project (Castle) and a visiting individual uprupted my stay in an adjoining area of the property due to Bad Associations of the Individuals who were under Investigation for Grand Larceny in the State of Texas (Grand Assault). The project is being taken over by the French Government until all said individuals are removed from the property, and the remaining projects can be finished by COH employees working with Crossover Companies.

As someone who personally used to live and work at the Chateaux, I have a unique perspective on this community. Please realize there are many people I have been blessed to come across or have assisted to, who live at this beautiful and historic community.BREAKING: This community is not for everyone. I guarantee you will never find a community with 101 floor plans, 364 apartment homes, and 137 work orders in one day. I moved from Orlando to work here, yet I still think about this community because it made that big of a positive impact in my life.On note, if you are into the paranormal, which I am, I highly recommend giving this place a chance.Best of luck and enjoy living in the Galleria District of Houston. Best People, food, nightlife, and shopping anyone could ask for. Also no zoning.

This place is growing on me. A few coworkers of mine live here. The slow renovations are helping this place stay tidy. Although the units are far outdated, it has a lot of potential. The exterior part of the buildings add a bit of character to a quiet neighborhood.

This place seems great at first with the price being good for the area and one of the only places that allow big dogs but it has been one problem after another with this place. 1) the pools have been closed at least since we moved in by February claiming that their pools are open year round. 2) the maintenance are TERRIBLE. They don’t get the job done, they don’t speak English so you can’t communicate with them. And they came into my apartment without my permission. 3) There are always problems with people whether it be by other residents fighting or homeless people going around. 4) there are bugs everywhere, you can call and have a bug guy come spray which I did and there are still bugs everywhere. 5) RATS everywhere, I usually see them outside but have just found rat poop in one of my cabinets. Definitely do not recommend. The staff has been as helpful as they can but it is not enough to make us renew our lease in the future. Spend the little bit of extra money to make sure you are getting what you pay for.

Great place for pets. Quiet area and friendly neighbors. Great gym and pool areas are nice. Only issue is that getting a hold of the front via phone is a hassle but you can just go there in person and someone will get to you. Other than that, really great place.

I’m so sad to have to share this experience considering the staff has been so kind but we’ve been dealing with roaches since April. I would find them dead in our fridge and would turn on the light to see them scatter. And although they brought in pest control and they lessened, we started dealing with RATS four months ago. Nothing has been done. They’ve chewed up the food and left droppings in our pantry. The final straw was the day before Christmas, we were going to host, when we suddenly found the rats in action in our pantry. DISGUSTING. The office covered the holes in the wall and we tried to get with them for an action plan but we were stood up for our meeting with the property manager Riquelma, and then sent an email out with our notice and haven’t heard back since. We didn’t know if we should prorate the month or what we were going to do and I reached out TWICE before rent to check in and no response! Then today, we get an eviction notice - but no response to our rat problem. After much back and forth, they agreed to let us move at the end of the month and still pay the full month of rent. So we’re expected to continue living with rats for 3 more weeks and to go replace all our groceries since they had rat poop all over it. That’s not a solution!!! I wish I could post the pictures and videos I have. This property is old, the wood has water damage or is moldy/soggy. And that’s not worth $1500

Ive been living here a while and Im happy my lease is coming to an end in a few months because I wont be renewing. I wish I could give a negative 3 or 4 stars because this place doesnt even deserve a 1 star rating anymore!!! If youre thinking about moving here, DONT!! Unless youre looking for a place that has a RUDE MANAGER, UNPROFESSIONAL LEASING AGENTS, WORK ORDERS THAT TAKE FOREVER TO BE COMPLETED and lots of ROACHES, BED BUGS AND MOLD. (I am NOT exaggerating either) You can forget trying to talk to the current manager, Jorge unless you schedule an appointment first. Excuse me, some people have jobs to where they have to come when its convenient for them. Rico and Crystal always had an open door no matter when residents came by to speak to them and thats really been missed since they left. Jay is great and so was Blaine and Jessica too bad I cant say that about the two newest guys. They are horrible and can always be seen on their phones anytime you come to the office so forget about them greeting you. Customer service is obviously not a part of getting hired at Roscoe/Chateaux anymore What happened to making residents feel welcome when they enter the office?? Another annoying thing is the office phone NEVER gets answered when you call the office either. Thank goodness this will no longer be a concern for me real soon although I feel sorry for new residents. Chateaux has really fallen short the past four to five months. Good luck to anybody that takes a chance on moving here .

The only good thing about these apts is the location. I stayed here for almost a year and every day I saw roaches. It was like they leased out apts to them. No matter how much I cleaned, it was still a roach popping out of nowhere. Then I had a leak in my bathroom ceiling for nearly 6-7 months. Leaked so much to the point mold grew on my ceiling. Instead of fixing my ceiling, they cut the mold out as if that would fix it. They finally fixed it but left a medalSheet covering the hole. Everytime the central air came on, it smelled like something was dead in my ceiling. At the end of my lease I was told I had to pay a particular amount on the last month. Instead I was still being charged a while other amount after I was told by the manager that I didn’t have to pay it. Luckily I still have the email to prove it. I would not recommend living here. The office staff, I.e. Katherine, is very nice.

The Chateaux team really stepped up for my move. The apartment was clean and ready and they are taking care of the little punch list items one always finds upon move-in. From the staff to the maintenance team, everything has been first rate. The renovated units look great. Rental rate is more than competitive. If you love high ceilings, crown molding, gas stoves, patio or balcony, then Chateaux Dijon is it. Shes an old gal, but she still has class.

DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!I have been mistreated left and right from this complex. At first they took forever to approve me when I gave them every single document and more they asked for. I was then given my keys in which they had attempted to put a larger refrigerator in before I moved in that didn’t fit. I called and asked them about it and they said they would remove it. I went on a trip to California for 2 weeks and gave them permission to enter my property to remove the refrigerator it was still there when I came back and took an additional 3 days to get our of my apartment until I threatened to sell it if they left it in my property for longer then 90 days. I signed a parking space agreement and then they gave away my spot in which I had to move, no big deal. So I sign another one only to find out a month later they did it again, I had to move a 3rd time.Later on we had gotten a notice that somebody was SHOT IN THE HEAD, and a FROMT DESK EMPLOYEE WAS ALSO SHOT. Google it it’s there. Shortly after this we got hit with the stay at home orders due to covid 19. We received an email stating that the property had a confirmed case and yet no improvement on sanitization. In fact the only thing that has change here is the Managment, about 4-5 times now.Now I know by now the reader is going wow this is a lot, you’re correct all of this happened within a sound of a year.Given the benefit of the doubt I decided to give them another chance and sign another lease. In which they attempted to make me move again. Until I refused because I had lived here for a year. Shortly after this a rat was spotted in my home. I have called, left maintenance request, etc. the only thing they did was set a few traps and scatter some dog food, in which now I have a roach problem, they said the next day they would stop by to check the traps. It has now been a week. I have made several attempts to resolve the issue and every single time I hear “I’m sorry sir but you amongst many other tenants have emergencies that have fallen by the wayside. We will call maintenance and let them know” I’ve heard this exact line from 3 different people. I really hope this apartment gets its act together so future patrons won’t have to go through what I am still currently going through with this complex. I’ve never been so ignored or brushed off as my issues isn’t taken serious.Again DO NOT MOVE HERE they will not help you. They will just talk to you in circles. I have another year here and I’m dreading it. Btw I have children and pets in the home and had to throw away a lot of my groceries because they have been contaminated.

Do not live here. Repairs take forever, you are constantly over billed on utilities, and the process to get anything done takes forever. This is the most mismanaged apartment complex I have ever lived in. My front door broke and I am unable to even lock it and 17 days have went by with nothing being fixed. As a young woman living in the city this is a huge deal. I’ve lived in third world countries with better service. Choose any place but here.

DO NOT MOVE HERE! DO. NOT. MOVE. HERE. They dont care about you. They want you to sign a lease so they can ignore you and all your apartments issues. My neighbor did not have a working stove for 6 months. Our apartment floods when it rains. They dont help remove the water or prevent the future leaks or floods. We had 2-3 inches of water in our apartment. Nothing was done to fix the warped floor. The office staff has changed 3-4 times over the last 2 years. They will deny you raised concerns about issues. Or they will give you empty promises or band aid fixes. Honestly there are bugs and rats. If you your look at the ground there are so many rat houses. They are trying to fix the issues but there are just so many. It truly is just sad. Please save yourself the heartache and look somewhere else.

In 5 years of real estate I have never had such difficulty in getting an invoice paid by a property management company. I have emailed and hand delivered an invoice as a vendor to Chateaux Dijon multiple times and followed up with several calls since August 25th 2019. All to no avail. Although the staff is incredibly friendly, the management team fails them by not paying this vendor for my services rendered July 24th, 2019. Realtors and locators proceed with caution if you expect to be paid for your service.

I visited this complex for a tour as a walking given that my appointment last week was unsuccessful after arriving to the location and the leasing office was close. Upon my arrival I was I formed that there was no units available and the ones listed online were now leased. I express my dissapoiment given that I was there and no one was present over the weekend. One of the staff members proceeded to say that it was her fault due to a medical emergency and was extremely sarcastic about it to the point that my 9 year daughter pointed out that she seem mentally unfit. I will definitely not return our refer and any one to this complex, very unprofessional staff.

I dont like making bad reviews.. Ive never had such a bad experience with an appartment. If you consider this place be sure to do a walk through before signing anything, we requested and was told the paint had just been done they just wanted us to sign the lease before.. be sure everything is fixed before moving in. They will make excuses that they will work on it but never follow through. Document everything The buildings are older so have someone check the sockets, a plug almost caught fire. Luckily my son mentioned the bad smell and heat from the plug. This was reported through emergency maintenance only thing done was turning off the breaker over night and was told it will get done by 11am next day it already an entire day, 3 voicemails, 1 person to person conversion. Still my 1st floor has no electricity. All this during the covid-19/hrs cut, life is stressful enough as is. Normally I stay with a complex 5yrs I couldnt wait for my 1yr to be up. Not a home sweet home. We had to replace our own fuse for the fuse box outside cause they just kept resetting it never replacing it. A/c vents all had mildew or mold we requested them cleaned the guy said they had not been cleaned out completely in a long time. Thats a lot of years. All the shades are old and never replaced they were brittle and braking apart. The vertical blind didnt match some were long and discolored. There was a pipe leak we requested the apt be tested for mold since the guy said it had been leaking for a while. They never did and when called to see the status no one knew anything 3x within the same week. I just wanted a safe home for my family. Not a lot to ask for. If you read this far just dont do it.

Seems like a decent area at first. Two months into living here I had my whole car stolen. It’s one thing after another. I’ve been living here for a only a few months and it’s been very bad. I had a leak last a whole 2 months. It would fill up a tall trash can in a DAY! And it took maintenance forever to come fix it. And I’ve been calling about water damage on my floor and I get no response. I can’t get ahold of anyone. Absolutely NOBODY answers the phones and it makes things very difficult for me every single time I have an issue. I can’t stand this place

I moved in like the last week of November. Little Jay helped me out and i have to say he was so sweet, super attentive and really helped get us moved in. Im loving the location, thought it would be difficult moving from living near Washington Ave but shopping and restaurants so close have made up for it.My neighbors are friendly, have not had a problem with parking whatsoever, bug free (thank God), management is wonderful. So far so good! Ill keep you posted as we go along!

Wow! I literally saw this online and thought it was super cute. Decided to go by there yesterday and pick up a quote sheet. However after reading the plethora of RECENT reviews about homeless people loitering, drug dealers occupying, theft by home and car break ins, flooding, roaches, rats, mildew/mold, limited daily amenity access, less than stellar maintenance, and rude/ever changing staff (its quite alarming to read about the recent high turnover rate with office staff); I will most certainly not be showing up for that 1st floor apartment tour on Friday. No way! Im honestly disappointed because its such a great price for the area with very attractive amenities. Smh

This is my second time moving back to Chateaux Dijon. I probably should never have left the first time. We love living here. Unique layouts, safe neighborhood, dog friendly, and the staff is so helpful and friendly. I feel that they really care. Maintenance requests have been resolved same day. Close to my job and everything else I love. Overall happy and highly recommend!

They say you get approved within 48 hours, BIG LIE!!! Its been almost 2 weeks since I applied, needed to confirm if my offer letter was good before I made the payment which they said it was..... Here comes the next day with another story; was tricked into making the payment. Ive been calling all week, can barely get anyone on the phone and when I do, cant get a straight answer or something accurate. Everyday is a new rule/story why they have to keep delaying my application. I got an approval letter in my email a couple of days ago but they say its not the final step. What is and how long does it take???? At this point, I just want my money back, im done waiting!! If my business isnt appreciated here, I will take it somewhere else. This feels personal, I dont have time to deal with racial issues when im paying for my home. Security and comfort is everything when picking a home, this isnt it!

I moved to TX almost a year ago now. I was looking for a place that I could have my pitbull puppy, after so many nos..Chateaux Dijon said yes. I signed a 15 month lease and I have been pretty happy here. The staff in the office have always been friendly and helpful. My maintenance requests are taken care of in a timely fashion. Good area as well. Thank you for making my move to TX a pleasant experience

I lived at Chataux DiJon for 2 years now and the staff here is excellent and is always willing to help. Shelby has helped multiple times from lease issues to maintenance help. It is great to have a great team in your community that get things done. Really goes beyond what you would expect. The new owners are really friendly and sure there a few issues but they will fix it. Pools are closed but should be reopened in about 2 weeks. They have great office parties. Just hope that the rent will not go up. 2 problems. 1. Pest control is not effective. 2. The 5404 drive in gate is still not working after 5+ months. We should not be charged monthly until this is resolved.

I am mostly satisfied, there have been issues that the management has taken care of but some took a considerable amount of time. My family was a bit disappointed at some of the changes that made it less unique but overall the new management has been very good

Look on crime reports, there is lots of break-ins, assaults and drug use or dealing. The apartments are good looking just the environment is bad.

I am not a person that writes reviews but this place was so bad I thought everyone should know. Believe me the rent is cheap for a reason, you might as well curl up in a alley. The staff is nice but the owner is cheap and will not fix anything! you will have your hot water go out, also its grey water in the first place. You will dread going to your own home if you live here.

New management is horrible! They keep increasing rent but wont do any of the maintenance work. Its summer and the pools have been closed for over two months. Every time they use a different excuse to why their closed. Their also very rude. Their professional online but not in person. Cant wait for my lease to be up.

This place is beyond dirt!! They charge $30 valet trash fee but there’s lots of bags all over the place. People leave their trash outside for 2 to 3 days. It’s obvious that maintenance/porter do not walk around cleaning because theres trash everywhere. I’ve called the office and they all promise to do something about it but NEVER do anything about it. They keep changing management.. Mhhh!! I wonder why 🤔 Every week they send an email that they’re going to turn the water off for few hours to do maintenance but everything still the same. Hot water pressure is very low. I’m unable to attach pictures besides I would do it. Have plenty of them! Do yourself a favor and avoid headaches and frustrations DO NOT MOVE HERE!! Rent prices are high af and apartments are not worth all that!!

Great location, great neighbors, a little expensive but you are paying for location. My main issue is, the lighting at night. I dont own a lamp because I have never needed one until now. other than the bedrooms, there are no over head lights in the eating area and in the living area. They have 1 over head light for the top and bottom floor? (It makes reading difficult unless I am secluded to the bedroom.) The relay switches do not work properly. Some wall receptacles dont work at all? The service guy came a few weeks ago and still nothing. Its a simple fix, and for the amount I am paying, it should have been taken care of, but I guess they dont plan on doing anything about it. They do allow all breeds, but in my area there is nowhere to walk the dogs unless you go out to the street and then you cant get in the gate from which you left, so you have to walk around the block to get back home. Its an ok place to live just expensive, and have lamps and make sure if you have dogs, you live near a dog run area. Gloria is awesome. Apartment manager.

Chateaux Dijon was the first apartment I moved into after college. I moved before the new complex owners, Roscoe Properties took over. I enjoyed my time there. I lived there for 2 years before the rent was too expensive for my new job. I did have one incident where my apartment flooded but that was due to an upstairs resident and not a fault in a pipe. The staff cleaned it up quickly and replaced my carpeting as well as evicted the individual who caused the mess in the first place. Otherwise, the water is an off color sometimes but I chalked it up to old pipes and city water. Get a Britta filter and youll be fine. I did see a lot of roaches but Im a Texan so it didnt concern me as much. The only issue was rat droppings but I never actually saw any mice or rats. I never had issue with hot or cold water that I recall. I always felt safe, the neighborhood was generally quiet and I liked having a reserved parking spot. Kids didnt run around screaming at inappropriate times or anything. I recall feeling safe enough to walk around during the day without issue. I enjoyed being close to the Galleria and the other shopping centers.

We were originally told we’d be moving into a front facing apartment with newer black appliances. Move in day comes and we are shown to a back corner apartment with a joke of a patio, and hideous old and yellowed appliances. The apartment was not even move in ready when we arrived. Cleaning supplies and building materials scattered around the whole apartment, the tub was covered in a layer of filth we had to call the office to have someone come out to clean up the mess. Cabinets were in disarray with chipping paint and half of them wouldn’t close. The placement of the stove was comical because you couldn’t get to the other half of your counter or open up one of the drawers fully. All this we swallowed and looked past at the time because we had no other option and needed to be close to work.These apartments were BUG and RAT city... every inch of this apartment at any given time was covered in roaches ranging in various sizes. Kitchen, drawers, cabinets, dishwasher and even our fridge!!! Sleeping was a nightmare due to being jolted awake from feeling roaches crawl on you at all hours. Nothing was safe, we had to replace food constantly because no matter what we’d do they’d find their way through.The rats for the most part stayed outside... if I needed to go out to my patch of a patio for any reason I’d have to turn on the light and wait a few moments to make sure I’m the coast was clear before stepping out. This was the case for the most part until the last two months of our stay. A huge rat had made its way somehow into our apartment. Now we had just had a baby the month prior and I also have a teenage son so this was not a safe place for either of them given the circumstances. When I called the front office I got the usual voicemail and all I got to handle the situation was 4 glue traps that DID NOT WORK. I called again a few days later after literally having my family walking around scared because we did not know when this rat would make another appearance. I tried to explain once again that I have a NEWBORN baby and my son in the apartment and we had to barricade ourselves in our room to make sure he stayed out. Minimal response regarding this and all that was brought to me was additional glue traps.Pest control was an absolute joke and I don’t believe they actually did anything but come in and leave the note saying they sprayed and that was it. There was never any difference not hint they had sprayed anything to slow down the infestation.Neighbors:I can’t make this up: complained multiple times about the neighbor to the side of us BLASTING EYEBOF THE TIGER ON REPEAT at all hours of the night and day. I’m also pretty sure they hosted some kind of damn fight club as well. I followed the noise one day so I could give the information to the office and when I called they said they would send a note telling them to stop. This continued for months and nothing ever changed and all I was told was they would keep sending letters. Our apartment constantly reeked of weed thanks to one of our upstairs neighbors.My sons bike was stolen from the front porch where we had it chained up.* Sidenote- IF you have children attending the middle school-tanglewood is the one they’ll be sent to and they do not provide bussing for the over two mile trip to school. They will make your kids walk home. My son made the trip every day for a whole semester on his bike through galleria traffic.Laundromat6 washers/dryers to each section of the complex and 99% of the time half of them worked. Mostly leaks and the new “convenient” credit card option was a COMPLETE joke. A lot of stolen funds on our end I was constantly on the phone with customer service. Most of the washers didn’t drain correctly so your end up wasting more money trying to dry them or end up with very damp clothes.Last but not least. I have been trying to resolve an issue with these apartments for almost a year now regarding money they’ve sent to collections. Pay attention to the reviews and heed their warning. Poorcommunication all around with this office.

The community is a bit older which allows for lots of trees and a larger apartment with affordable rent. The minor maintenance Ive requested so far has been addressed immediately. I made the right decision moving here because everyone is so friendly.

If I could give 0 starts I would. First let me start with CUSTOMER SERVICE. This is my first time moving in an apartment the leasing office people did not accommodate and was not very helpful during the process of getting the apartment. Our leasing manager Katherine could have prepared us more prior to the move in date. Katherine was good in talking, she really new her stuff but was really lacking on making sure her new renters were comfortable and READY for the move in date. On the day that I was suppose to get the keys to my apartment, I had to work that day and had emailed her days before; that I was going to come in at 430pm to get the keys. The leasing office closes at 5pm, all I thought was come in drop of my payment get the keys. But no, I had the problem with my dog fees, which btw, we were told it was a pet deposit. The GM was expecting me to pay the $600 on top of my move-in date dues, but our leasing manager Katherine told us we could pay it monthly on top of our rent. The GM then proceeds to tell me that she was not aware of that and that she had to approve of this. She made a muggy look on her face and said I’ll approve it. (I work in the food industry, body language is very crucial) So then I get my keys, went on home since I had mover scheduled; they kept me longer than expected so I had to hurry home.I come back that same night and to my surprise IT WAS THE WRONG KEYS, I repeat IT WAS THE WRONG KEYS. I tried and tried for hours did not budge. I called emergency line did not get a call back until about 30 min later. ITS AN EMERGENCY LINE, it should not take 30 min to get back to me. After they got back to me, it took 2 HOURS for this maintenance guy to show up. I had to pay extra to my movers cause I WAS HANDED THE WRONG KEYS.I get settled in the apartment, was finally coming down from all that was going on. I checked the kitchen and ran the water to make sure waster was flowing and the sink was clogged. YES, CLOGGED SINK!!! I did not want to put in a work order because it would have been another 2-3hours of waiting. The water came down the drain very very slow and the water that was stagnant was moldy and smelled bad. I decided to fix it myself, did not succeed so I placed in a work order and was taken care of a week after.This apartments has AMAZON HUB, ordered something from amazon was delivered here to the HUB for same day shipping. I DO NOT HAVE ACCESS TO ANY AMAZON HUB. I called amazon and asked if they could help me. They said yes, they just need my apartment number and and name. I gave them this info and to my surprise, I was not registered, Katherine or whoever in the leasing office were suppose to enroll my fiancé and I into our amazon hub so that we could get our code and retrieve our package. According to the amazon rep. the people that were receiving this codes for my packages and my apt was the people who use to live in my apt. MY PACKAGE WAS STOLEN, and it is not amazons responsibility; its the leasing office. They were suppose to TAKE OFF the past people who lived in my apt IMMEDIATELY after they moved out and REGISTER THE NEW RENTERS. This is unacceptable, you would think that with all their fees, not deposits, FEES; they would do so well at making sure you are set up.They have completely ruined my first experience with an apartment. I would STRONGLY RECOMMEND AGAINST LEASING WITH THIS APARTMENTS. DO NOT LIVE HERE, THE RESPROP MANAGEMENT ONLY WANTS YOUR MONEY AND COULD CARE LESS ABOUT YOUR LIVING

We have been here almost two years, and we love it. The apartments are older, but they are well-kept and updated nicely. And I think the age gives them character...they have different layouts, etc. The management is on top of things, and they come quickly when we have issues in our apartment. The rent is very inexpensive for this area, but the quality of residents is still high...everyone is very nice, friendly, and quiet for the most part. I definitely feel safe here. The office staff is very friendly and helpful. We have had a couple issues with management because of things happening in our apartment, but they are very understanding and willing to work with you. Most recently we were asked to take down some sun shades we put on our balcony to block the afternoon sun. We thought they were within the guidelines as set up in our contract, but in the end we had to replace them with shades that matched our neighbors. We were kind of bummed/annoyed by that, but I guess it is understandable. They want the complex to look uniform. Even though it was inconvenient for us, I think any quality complex would probably make a stink about something like that, so I cant complain. The other issue was when we first moved in there was a roach problem (please keep in mind this is not normal for this complex, and living in Houston means you will have the occasional roach no matter how good your pest control is). The management responded quickly and did repeated treatments until the problem was eliminated about 6 weeks later. In the mean time they gave us the option to switch to a another open apartment, but we decided to stick it out and Im really glad we did. We have only seen a few roaches since then (a year and a half ago), which is pretty common in Houston. We have regular pest control visits that keep things under control. The only thing I dont like about our apartment is there is not a washer and dryer, but we knew that coming in, and I think it contributes to the cheaper rent. The laundry rooms they provide are nice enough...they get the job done, and it actually makes doing laundry faster because you can do it all at once. There is plenty of parking, and there is also a small neighborhood behind the complex where it is nice to go walking. The location is great if you work downtown. There are bus stops close by, and it is within walking distance of the Galleria. Lots of good restaurants close by, etc. There is also a Sams Club with a gas station less than a mile away, which is nice for cheaper gas in the uptown area. Great apartment! We will be sad to leave when it is time.

This apartment complex used to be super cute and well maintained but has gone downhill within the last year. They have rats inside the walls and ceiling and I was forced to stay there until my lease ended. It was so embarrassing and couldn’t have guests over. They wouldn’t release me from my lease agreement and then they had the audacity to charge me a month to month charge because I handed in my notice within 6 weeks instead of 8. This happened because they couldn’t locate my lease agreement.They have many drug dealers on site and I had junkies knocking on my door and begging for money. It became a safety hazard and I was stuck. I never took it out on the staff, I was always super polite and asked them nicely to resolve the issues but they never did. The Ac units also circulate bad air, you can smell the marijuana from the niehhbors.The prices are low for the area, but with all of the issues it’s not worth it.

Its a place to live.Mold bulges the paint on the walls, large gaps between floor and baseboards, gaps between walls and fixtures. Everything is old and painted over or just old. Water gets shut off like every two months for some reason. A/C shuts off like every 3 months for some reason (at least they try to tend to this problem quickly, but dont call them after hours unless its 80 degrees or more in the apartment.)Tons of tiny little roaches. I am killing anywhere from 1 to 5 a day. I had to tape up certain areas in my apartment to keep the big ones away. Be sure to have lots of insecticide. Borax powder is your friend. Little roaches crawl up my walls, down my blinds, from under my refrigerator and couch, across my shelves. I have killed 3 today just before making this post.Rotating leasing office staff. Ive lived here less than a year and I think theyve changed staff twice. Apparently they have a new manager named Rico - dont know him, never met him.Sometimes they lose my packages. They never sign newsletters or update emails with a name so you cant hold them to anything.My lease is up in January and I will not renew.

Piles of dog poo nobody has bothered cleaning up in the dog park area; first day moving in apartment infested by roaches. Everything is old and the doors are a lovely bile-yellow. I can’t express my disappointment enough.
