Although I really would prefer not to criticize or slander someones business....especially in these tough times. That being said. I was in the area and happened upon the shop. My wife suggested we go and check it out. When we went to the door we were approached by a man who stated we do not take walk ins I understand the logic of trying to keep the shop at a minimum capacity ..BUT IT WAS COMPLETELY EMPTY!! there were also at least 2 available barbers that I saw. Both just sitting down looking at their phones. After sitting in the lot for 15 more minutes we left still with no customers there. They have now lost any future business with me. You only get one chance at a first impression. Lastly in a profession that relies heavily on tips... customer service should be paramount.

I have been a loyal customer of Gentlemans Quarters Barber Co since the day they opened and I really mean it when I say that you will not find better service at another barbershop. Before GQ, I was hopping from shop to shop trying to find the vibe that was right for me. I am comfortable at GQ because of their open-arms environment and relaxed vibe. May is an awesome barber and she gets me looking right every time. Even though I only go in once a month, everyone remembers me on a first-name basis and we pick right up like I was in the shop earlier that week. Max runs a tight ship and makes sure that everything is up to COVID CDC standards. Everything is cleaned and disinfected regularly. I really can not speak high enough of the service you receive when you choose GQ. This will be the only shop I go to and recommend to others in this area.

No hair cuttery for me 🤣. Make an appointment though! I see too many people walk in without appointments and have to come back.

Max is a really good guy he makes every person feel welcome when they walk in. I have never had a good haircut from a girl barber before and here I am writing a 5 star review after my second haircut from chelsey. The shop looks great and is always very clean. I never have time to sit for long lines like I did at my last barbershop that was walk ins only. Appointments are absolutely the way to go. I’ll bee back in a week or two for my 3rd cut.

Everyones extremely nice and polite and the vibe is really chill but most importantly, theres never a long wait, its fairly priced and theyre all very good at what they do. Ive lived locally to Hatboro-Horsham for 12 years. Ive been in and out of barber shops in the area countless times, bouncing from place to place trying to find someone who is consistent each time. Being in the Real Estate profession and meeting a variety of different clientele on a daily basis, looking professional starts with a great haircut. None of the places Ive previously been to, are good as Gentlemen Quarters. Max and his staff have become like family members. Its clean, kid & pet friendly. Its a welcomed environment and they make you feel at home. No better place in the area!

Would love to be writing a five star review, my first two haircuts with Max were great. Nice guy and great barber, I even donated to a fundraiser he was planning for a sick friend. I just tried making an appointment for my third cut, but was told by the person on the phone that it would be better if I got my haircut elsewhere since I missed a scheduled appointment. I absolutely did not, and Im more than a little annoyed with the unfounded accusation. Im sure its difficult to have people not show up, but the answer isnt chasing off repeat customers because you are frustrated with someone else.

I had been going to the same barber for nearly 10 years... needless to say I was super nervous going to someone new. This place is really close to home and had great reviews so i thought Id give it a chance. First thing I noticed when I walked in was the shop is beautiful. Very clean and a really nice environment. I am so relieved to say I received a great hair cut but I also had a wonderful experience visiting with my barber Yelena. She was the perfect amount of talkative and kind while still being very professional. I just found my new barber! Thank you mucho!!

Please be careful at barbershops like this. A lot of these places hire unlicensed and unqualified barbers. Be sure to check on your states site to verify that the business has a license first, then you can check the specific barber. I say this because I had a bad experience and without state approval these shops cannot be insured. Im sure you can imagine the problem with that when they are using not only razor sharp blades close to or on the scalp but straight razors on your face and neck. do your homework before you walk in.Response: As I have stated in the message above. This is very very simple to do this without having to walk in and waste time. The Owners response is questionable for the simple fact is that he or she or them can give us proper website link so that we can very much see this and know it is not a forgery. This to also happens. I have been to this shop and many like it. I only wish to know these shops have a certain legitimacy and are held to same standards. i tell you something thissolution this one come up with not giving any mind ease

Was driving by, saw the place from Easton Rd, and stopped in for a cut. Even though I didnt have an appointment, they were luckily able to squeeze me in. Immediately greeted when I entered by. Place is modern, clean, and has a great atmosphere. They had a steady flow of customers with 4 barbers working, but it never looked like a long wait.Nicole hooked it up with one of the best haircuts Ive had in a loooooong time, complete with hot towel, straight razor beard trim, and straight razor neck shave. The owner happened to be in that day and was greeting customers and soliciting feedback. Everyone wanted to ensure the best experience for me and the other customers. Ill be sure to make my appointment next time as I now have a new barber.

Ive traveled quite a bit and had many different barbers and been to a variety of barbershops and I can say with honesty. This shops practices what I would think is a nearly forgotten concept. Craftmanship, I was impressed with the look and feel of the place coming in the door. Greeted by several people who worked there, the owner himself took me in as a new client. The staff including him made sure I looked good and above all FELT good with the look.To be fair, its a little pricey but not bank breaking. This is one of those RARE situations is you get what you pay for in a positive sense. The few extra dollars you spend here will get you a QUALITY cut and leaving you feeling GREAT

One of the worst experiences as well as haircuts received. I wanted to try this place out as I recently saw it opened and was mainly pulled in by the name of the establishment. I was greeted by the owner and quickly escorted to a barber for my cut. I told the barber specifically that I wanted a skin fade with a beard shape up and that was all i wanted. Shouldnt of costed any more than $25. However, throughout the haircut I noticed something unusual. The barber started doing multiple things that I didnt ask for in an attempt to raise my bill. I was given the skin creams, hot towel treatment, with a moisturizing machine blowing steam on my face. Having worked in retail before, i knew what the barber was doing; they were upselling. However, if you are going to upsell a product, you are required to ask if the customer wants it first. Things were being added to my bill without my knowledge. By the time the haircut was over, I was very unimpressed. The cut looked C grade at best and wasnt worth anywhere near what Im going to tell you it costs. So I get to the register at the end, and I have been informed the haircut was $38 with no gratuity. The haircut ended up being $47 in total for only a C+/B- at best. My mom was the first to remind me of how bad it was, by saying it looked like I went in the bathroom and did it myself. I wouldnt recommend anyone to come to this location unless you want to be taken advantage of.
