The lines were short but this is when the counter opened at 915-930 am HST. Steve was very helpful and was also the gate agent for my flight. I went in early to check out the Delta Sky Club which opened at 1030 and closes at 2115. The wait for boarding was a few minutes late and we boarded at the front left. We departed on-time and actually arrived early at Sea-Tac. There was a plane in our gate on arrival and we had to wait for them to leave to deplane. AJ and Susan were our flight attendants and they were attentive and checked in frequent on me.

Upon boarding at PHNL DL304,DL1420 on 09/25/2021 a man started to have a seizure at the ticket scan. He shook violently and started to lean and fall. Before being able to hit the ground, myself along with one other bystander grabbed onto him to soften his fall. He was lodged between the ticket scan and a counter. We immediately moved him to an open area so when seizing, he wouldn’t get hurt on any objects. Two ladies immediately came to help. One was a nurse. Delta agents called EMT’s. We held and talked to him as he started coming back. We we’re worried he may swallow his tongue. After a while, he came back. I noticed that we were also blocking the passengers to board. I asked the counter agent to re-route traffic after stabilizing the man. Traffic was quickly re-routed and boarding continued as normal.So thanks again Delta for maintaining excellence in what you do! It’s no easy task! The flight crew was excellent also and ran a very tight ship. 5 Stars today!

Update: Delta refunded me the $ I spent on the extra ticket from HNL-LAX!!I was forced into buying a second seat on a flight from HNL-LAX due to delta agents being convinced I wouldn’t be allowed to transit in AMS. All this even after I had the ministry of foreign affairs on speaker phone in front of the agents to get confirmation that I would indeed be allowed to transfer in AMS.

If your going to take a flight Delta Airlines is the way to go. I took a flight from Honolulu Hawaii to Atlanta Georgia then to Richmond Virginia. Was a very nice flight, had no problems. Then on the way home i took a flight from JFK Airport in New York to Los Angels then back to Honolulu Hawaii. I had a nice relaxing flight. No Complaints. The staff was very nice.

I have encountered condescending attitudes by several counter persons and rovers in Oahu! They have This unfriendly attitude and make it appear that they hate helping people and make you feel as though you are imposing on them when asking them questions or asking for directions. Unfortunately the fight pricing was reasonable or I would definitely us an alternate carrier for all my travel needs.

I would say Delta is a great airline. Like other airlines, they try to put their best foot forward.

Worst customer service I have ever encountered. I wanted to ensure I could get a seat next to my girlfriend and all they told me was to hopefully get lucky while at the gate.

Delta calls Active Duty with the military ID to board and my kids and I (spouse) line up. When we get to the front, they tell us we dont qualify to board in front of everyone in a very humiliating way saying we need to have orders. They didnt mention orders when they made the announcement. Military families go through a lot and Delta doesnt need to do that to make us feel bad at end of our vacation flight. Delta crew that work checking tickets at the gate at the Honolulu Airport for flight 1506 for the 11AM flight to LAX , you guys have two thumbs down from me. We will try to avoid Delta in the future travel plans.

Worst airlines ever! I never had a pleasant time with Delta. Darnel McGill on Kauai would not let me board the plane due to it being so close to cut off time to put bags on the plane. She said 40 minutes but it was 43 minutes. 3 minutes! I had to wait on a plane for over 30 minutes due to a late plane arrival. How can they make a whole plane wait for people but they cant put bags on a plane 43 minutes before departure. She should be fired!! She also wouldnt give me her name and had to find it out and nobody would spell it correctly for me. Rude people all around working for Delta!! Do not book with Delta!

Flying Delta out of Honolulu is usually pretty great. Boarding is speedy and efficient. Gate staff are polite and courteous. While many of their aircraft are a little on the older side, they are well kept and maintained. A very good airline for the inevitable long flights to/from HNL. The one time my flight out of Honolulu was delayed because of traffic they re-booked me on a new connecting flight before I landed. Every time Ive flown Delta through HNL has been a good experience.

5/8/15Really enjoyed our flight to Hawaii from LAX. (Connection from SFO). Hoping our direct red eye home is just as pleasant.Delicious snacks: hag a choice of peanuts, pretzels, or cookies; picked all three. Free movies and TV. A ton, TON of leg room, and friendly service. Wasnt sure about the bag policy, but my two small carry on items were totally okay. Id definitely fly with these guys again.

Best Legacy Airline to fly with to the Maniland or Asia from Hawaii. Excellent customer service with complimentary free entertainment options for the long flights. Food is decent.

I have flown with Delta between California and Hawaii about 4 times and I am always impressed with the service. Flight attendants are always kind and attentive and the staff in general is very accommodating, especially at HNL. Traveling with a wheelchair has been no problem and the planes seem updated and clean. I asked for a window seat and they had no problem rearranging the seats a little bit for me. I am a fan of Hawaiian Airlines, but Delta has a much better schedule to and from Oahu. Definitely will fly Delta again.

Just spoken to your customer services, a guy with very strong Indian accent took my call. I cannot believe a reputable company like Delta would hired him. He pretended that the line reception was bad, but I can hear him as clear as a bell. And guess what? He doesn’t even know Delta bought over Northwest years back and kept saying he doesn’t know anything about it. I spelled my name to him 3 times, he couldn’t get it right even once. Bad customer services, really bad!

HNL Delta is easier to understand, wider and easier to use747-400 (herringbone on the second floor is excellent) will be completed within 2017, it is very disappointing
