Fantastic!! I plan to stay here again if I come back to Homer. I stay at alot of places (I travel for work) and this was definitely top tier. Its a beautiful cabin with a raspberry orchard (about 8 long rows of raspberry bushes, vineyard style) directly in front of the cabin. Looking past the raspberries is a killer 120° view of Kachemak Bay and the mountains beyond. You can even see the spit on the far right. The home is on a steep hill and surrounded by brush so it feels completely isolated and private. I posted a pic of the view, their website has better (and very accurate) photos.Extremely clean, piping hot shower with good pressure, quick responses to my questions and concerns & a local knowledge of Homer. I also felt very safe personally and with the belongings in my car. Super comfy bed. Stay here! It was lovely.

This was the third time my husband and I have stayed in the Raspberry Hill log cabin because we love it so much. We took friends with us this time (August 2021) and they adored it too. The rate is extremely reasonable, the view is one of a kind, and the cabin itself is fantastic with everything you could need, including a jar of raspberry jam the owner, Kim Perkins, made and left for us along with a bag of fresh cookies. Kim is absolutely awesome, by the way! The raspberry bushes in the front yard of the cabin are sweet treats for the guests and also attract area moose and we have seen moose in the yard every time. The first two stays it was a mama with a calf, and then a mama moose with twin calves, and this time it was a young bull moose eating out of Kim’s bird feeder. Sitting on the side of the hill overlooking Kachemak Bay, Gruening Glacier and the Homer Spit this place is amazing, yet only a few minutes from downtown Homer. It has such a peaceful feel of seclision about it. You will love it as much as we do and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Homer.

Gorgeous! Beautiful room, directly overlooking Homer spit, right next to rows and rows of beautiful raspberry bushes. Our first visit to Alaska, will be back again. Kim is an amazing hostess. Stay here -- you wont regret it!

Stayed for a weekend and enjoyed every minute. Great accommodations (lots of space, nice furniture and appliances, plus the view is incredible) and the owners are very easy to work with. I plan on returning again for my next trip to Homer!
