I went to Queen Nails today where I got a fill, the technician shaped my nails the way I wanted them and I love them, the only issue I had was that it was extremely busy, and the technician was rushing through, it didn’t feel as personable as I would’ve liked it to be. She kept finding mistakes towards the end because she was rushing through my finger on my left hand has some unevenness to it. But other than that, I think she did a good job. I would just recommend that this place takes their time and doesn’t rush through and make it more personable. Overall, I am happy.

Thu is amazing! She can do great things just from seeing a picture! Kim always gives great pedicures too! Have been coming here for over 10 years and am happy every time! Queen is the only one who can touch my eyebrows!

They are so rude! Don’t speak to you when you walk in. Have you sign in on a sheet. You sit & wait for forever just for them to ask “who’s next” & now everything is out of turn. Today it really made me upset bc I was the ONLY person waiting ( waited 40+ mins at that ) 2 people walked in & got to go STRAIGHT TO THE BACK to get their pedicure. It made me so mad but the shop was packed & I didn’t want to look rude. So here’s my review! 0 stars bc it happens EVERYTIME. Do not go here!!

After waiting close to an hour they rushed so quick that my shellac manicure is hardly a manicure. The corners of my nails aren’t even painted and the manicure was a quick file. Nothing was sanitized between guests and everyone was jammed packed next to each other. I brought my daughters for a special day and they painted their nails at the drying station not even making it special, making them stand. Will NOT be back and highly DO NOT RECOMMEND.

Loved my pedicure experience!

First time going was pretty disappointed. My nails dont line up correctly, and some are slanted. I should have taken the time to examine them. Whoever did my nails, she was not paying attention. I understand they were busy. Paid $120 for Mani and Pedi, both shellac and my toes are already chipped. I felt rushed to hurry to stand and pay. One of my thumb nails are way shorter than the other. My pinky is slanted, And some nails are thick and bulky looking. Had I took the time to examine, Id ask her to fix them.

I sat and watched customers come & go for pedicures and they never cleaned the bowls or their instruments. The tech was nice & did a good job.

They are amazing and their free hand designs are just awesome.

Everyone is friendly here. They are efficient and do a great job! would definitely recommend!

Waited over an hour even with an appointment. The tech cut me with the dremel on three separate fingers, drawing blood, and never cleaned the tool. I finally asked for someone else to finish my manicure. I definitely do not recommend.

After waiting here for almost 2 hours the lady rushed throw my nails and made me sit at a place where you dry your nails and the place was dirty I would NEVER go there again for how they treated me and my family. Also the tables werent sanitized and it was not social distances either. I found a problem on everyone of my nails. I highly recommend NOT GOING THERE.😡😠

Rude nail tech to customer. Customer was unhappy with the design. Tech told the customer she needed to remind her what she really wanted. Customer told tech shed go elsewhere to have it fixed. Another tech comes to the table and sounds like theyre yelling (loud voices in unknown language). She leaves to her station to cut her toenails, didnt wash her hands, and then worked on that upset customers nails.

I used to use Queen Nails all the time. I moved to the west side of Lansing and started going somewhere else. Well I was getting ready to take a trip to Vegas and I thought I would make an appointment with Queen nails because they were always friendly and I loved the ladies that worked there. Well I have never had a problem doing dipping powder with a gel design. Whomever the lady was that did my nails this time kept trying to talk me into shellac. After her asking me 100 times I finally gave in. I left with the shellac all over the sides of my fingers and under my nails which was already irritating. But I also was charged 65 dollars just to have my nails done. Normally it is about 35-40 where I now go. I guess I won’t be returning and I will just continue to be a regular at my new salon. Also, I find it to be extremely rude to talk around a customer in a different language about the customer that is sitting right in front of you and to be laughing about your customer while doing it.

Very pushy the minute you walk into the store, don’t listen, they only care about upselling and then don’t do a good job on the service you request. Beware!

Dip polish didn’t even last 6 days for a very inflated cost. Super disappointed

Love queen nails

Went in just to get some basic purple acrylic nails but ended up being up sold for ombre and bedazzled nails. I tried to tell them i didnt want that but it was too late because they started putting them on anyways. the quality dose not meet my expectations of what a $68 nail job should be either, the shape of the acrylic is uneven, crooked and messy. if you decide to go here make sure to bring a picture of what you want and a firm attitude.

They take really good care of my nails and my designs are always cute.

When you pay for a basic manicure, this is what you get... and this was after the “clean up”. Pointer finger is super crooked, cuticles not even pushed back, nail polish still on my skin.... the nail tech was super sweet and friendly, but the quality of the manicure wasn’t worth the extra money.

I used to love the way they did my nails. The last few times in there they havent gotten the shape right & the designs have been sloppy & off to the side of the nail. Looking for a new nail place.

I love this place... however I only have the owner (quinn) do my nails because the two times I had let someone else do them they didn’t turn out like I wanted at all. I have had good experiences with my pedicures every time I’ve gone....

Nail tech was rude. Color on card was different than what was in the bottle. Communication was So difficult. My mani/pedi looked terrible. Had to clean it up myself afterwards. Will not go back.

Fast service but dont try bringing your own polish. It turns into a dramatic event with almost all employees involved. Last Christmas I sat next to a really nice lady who brought her own red polish and for five minutes I listened to the nail tech try and talk her into one of their polishes. I took my own polish in once and was so embarrassed by three employees gathered around the table telling me how their polish is better that I gave in just to shut them up. I gave up going there two months ago and now go to Nancy Nail on the Lansing Mall.

Went in about a week ago to get shellac done on my nails.. my finger is now infected badly, went to urgent care and they said a bacteria was introduced to my cuticle (cellulitis of the finger) which was caused by their nail products! (Cuticle cutters, filer). I’ve been overcharged multiple times and they aren’t very welcoming. They have cut my fingers up before and I gave them the benefit of the doubt. Never again!! I will not be going back and I absolutely would NOT recommend my family or friends!

My experience was not great or even good for that matter. There is always miscommunication when I come in for an extremely basic manicure. They manicurists take forever to even get ready so when they call you to a chair youre still in the seat waiting. Its very unprofessional and I always leave feeling like they dont care. Go somewhere else, if there is any good salons out there...

Two acrylics fell off within a week, and I’m not hard on my hands. Very frustrating to pay $55 and have two of them fall off. Never going back.

They use to do a good job on my pedicures but my last one a month ago and the one I had today was not good at all! It was a rush job. She didn’t even do the basic things you are supposed to do when doing a pedicure like your cuticles. She didn’t know how to file my nail straight it was slanted so I had to do it for her. Smh! This use to be my go to place for pedicures now I will be finding a new place.

They generally do a good job. But ..... having said that i am not pleased overall. I had never had my nails done before and didnt know what each procedure is called or what it all entailed. When i asked questions, i had hard time understanding their accent, so i quit trying. Is shellac and gel the same thing? I have had my hands slapped and yelled at for not relaxing my hand enough. They always try to get you to add on extras so they charge you more. Why is anything extra an additional $15? If you get gel on pedicure, $15 extra! Cat eye gel really isnt that much more and all they do is put a one time purchase of a $3 magnet on it for affect. Of course extra!I mean, the small amount of polish used is ridiculous. They are rude and talk amongst themselves then look at you or giggle like they were taking about you. They always seem in a hurry. When getting nails painted i always have to tell them to make sure to get all the way to each side and they get rude that i mentioned anything. Their pricing always is different when i go to pay. Sometimes i wonder when they give me the total if they are already including a tip! When in ask exactly what i am paying for they get all huffy. When i try and ask questions they dont understand me or i dont understand them so i literally sit and let them just do their thing. One time i even got the WRONG color (was watching the tv during the 1st 3 nails painted) but was Afraid to say so because she would get upset. Another time SHE asked if i wanted to try something, so i did one nail. When i said i didnt like it, she got snappy. Isnt the customer supposed to get pampered in this kind of business? They seem to do as they please and get short with you if you take too long to pick a color, ask questions, or dont agree with their suggestions. The ONLY reason i have went there was because they take walk ins and can figure about an hour and a half if getting full pedicure (they do good job!) And nails done. Looking for new place .....

Maybe I’ve drawn the short stick. I have tried this place twice!!! The first time, i had to come back and get my nails fixed. They were all over the place and very thick.Fast forward 6-7 months, a group of my friends were going and thought I’d give them a shot. It was the same lady(table 11). I didn’t even get to the nails. Very rude. I just said never mind. Stood up and waited for my friends to be finished.Hopefully others have had better luck.

Ive had a hard time finding a good nail place and even though this place is about 25 minutes away from my house it was worth the drive. Everyone was super nice and my nails look nearly perfect. Also the pedicure was wonderful!!!! They are fast but good!!! I Highly recommend Queen Nails to anyone!!!

Every time I go it’s a different price,this time it was $50.00 for a full set and that was $ 10.00 more than last time including the tip. Usually there really good especially if queen herself does them. I can say from now on I myself will go elsewhere. The paint doesn’t cover all of my nail and there are places I have glue ,polish and gel on my fingers and a spot where the clear coat is dull and looks horrible. If I’m gonna spend that kind of money I want what I paid for! VERY DISAPPOINTED

Ive always had great service here! Tammy did my nails today with an orange and silver powder ombré and they look AMAZING. Everyone Ive worked with so far has been awesome, too! In and out in under an hour for a fill and I am always a happy customer!

Very unprofessional. Didnt listen to what was asked of them. They did a manicure when that wasnt even what we wanted then when we said something about it when they started it, they charged us for it. We asked for just painting nails. Nothing more. Nothing less. They did what we didnt ask then charged for it. Then refused to compermise. Would NEVER recommend this place to anyone.

I recommend going to a lady by the name Queen. She has a steady hand when painting and doesnt mind taking the time to make sure your nails are done correctly. She pays attention to detail and does not rush.

I got a set of schellac nails three weeks ago, and there is only small chips that I have been able to file out. There is not yet any signs that they are going to come off within a few more days. My previous sets from other places only lasted two weeks at most with me doing my best to keep them on.

Decent place to go if you NEED to but I would try and go somewhere else. Went for a pedicure and they sat me down in the chair with no water or anything for 15 min while I waited. They weren’t even busy. At least let my feet soak in the water while I wait! It was super annoying. Also, I don’t like how their pedicure tools aren’t wrapped and they don’t line the pedicure bowl with plastic. The place doesn’t seem to be very sanitary. The only reason why I stayed was because I was visiting from Texas and had my 5 year old niece with me and she was excited to get her nails done.

This place is a mixed bag. Usually excellent service, however, when they are busy that service slides a bit. I highly recommend coming at quiet times like first thing in the morning for the very best service ❤️

Queen nails does a great job. I always get compliments, and they have been doing my nails exclusively since 2005... Try them, you wont ne disappointed!!

First time going she did a very nice job..... Jeweled 2 nails they were beautiful then I got charged $18.00 more for them than quoted..... Stated AFTER the fact it was due to my natural nails being thin harder to take them off... The gel started coming off in 3 days and the corner of one of my thumbs.... The fix??? Dremmeled it so it was now my natural nail showing.... Ummmmm no..... Then my $35.00 pedicure EVERY toe of the French I paid extra for.... Chipped half way off so my natural nails where showing through all the chips. $95.00 that day.... I was SO DISAPPOINTED.

Theres always a wait and the customer service is not the best but the finished product is great! And the price is ok. The pedicures is where its at! The message is great and my toes always look cute!

This is my probably 5th time coming. I used to love it here. But today ruined all my good experiences the lady doing my nails didnt listen to anything I said. I came in wanting a light pink with light gold accent. I picked them from the color pallets. She said okay started working on my nails. Were out of those colors.. so then I said okay Ill go with this sparkly purple with a light gold accent. The gold accent was yellow gold and she put red nail polish on my nails then put the purple glitter ontop and said festive. I didnt come in for festive. I came in to get the nail color I asked for so then I said no I dont like them I want the purple like I asked for. She said what do you want then and started talking to the girl across the room in a different language rolling her eyes. I said okay Ill go pick out a new one... mind you a third color combination agian. Then I told her purple with a silver accent nail. She never took the colors off just layered them. Then after they dried filed over the ends to hid the color layering. They dont look like what I asked for but at this point I couldnt say anything because while picking the new nail color she started helping the next person before my nails were even done. She said $35 when I walked in then charged me $40. Im never coming back.

Was in recently for a pedicure and I feel like I paid $23 to have my toenails polished. I would never return. I found the person that I worked with to be rather rude and I could tell she clearly did not want to be at work. I was in and out in about 20 minutes.

I go to Queen Nails with my daughter alot. I have had both nails and pedicures done here. I have never had any issues here. Average prices, clean and friendly. I love there selection

I go here because its close to my home and the services are a fairly decent price but I dont like the fact that you never know what kind of service youre gonna get. You can go one time and get someone who really takes time on you and then the next have some one who is really hurried and working on more than one person. They should not have the girls working on more than one person at a time. This seems to be a common problem here when they are busy.

My wife goes here once a month and loves it. She has tried other salons but said she will stay here.

Im not from the Lansing area and moved down from Traverse City about three years ago. Since Ive moved, Ive tried over 5+ nail salons and honestly have not found a salon better than this one!! Ive had almost every nail tech in the faculty and all have done a great job.

They rush,,dont listen to what you ask for and are very bossy. I usually go in with a simple picture and then get told they will make it better,,,they add more stuff so they can up charge you.

I had my nails done professionally for my wedding. The nail tech did not fill or paint my full nails. I noticed several mistakes that I asked to be corrected and when I did, the tech got snappy with me. Mind you, I had specified these were for my WEDDING. I also learned that when I was removing my nails at home with an acetone soak, this salon uses the acrylic formula that contains MMA, a FDA banned chemical component, which is why the gel becomes gooey when soaked in acetone. It also binds horribly to your natural nail which has left my nails peeled and brittle. I will NEVER recommend this place.

This is my go-to place for my eyebrows and my nails! Ive only had one experience with the older lady where I was unhappy, but they gladly fixed my nails and were super apologetic. Quinn is my favorite!

It really depends on “who” does your nails there. Some of the employees rush just to get to the next client. There are two or three techs that do not take their time or do a quality job. It is Russian roulette.

I just Got my nails done there and I’m not ever going back , first after i said I didnt Want shellac she kept pushing it on me talking about 7$ more she said that like 5 times then she was rushing and the quality of my nails just isn’t up to par , then i messed Up on of my nails and she wouldn’t repaint it .. she just pressed it with her finger then put a clear coat over it like ok. Not impressed and not going back and my thumb nail is literally stinging and idk why I’ve had my nails done for years and have never had a stinging feeling after getting them done

Poor service. Little care.for customer comfort or desire. Poor quality. Poor communication skill, so they do what they feel like but not what you want as they cant understand what youre asking, then charge you $70!!!

Quinn did my nails with white tips and painted my daughters nails. Looked wonderful and done quick and price was good. Friendly and had good suggestions, highly recommend!

Did an awful job had we had dip nails for years n the way they did them makes it look like globs on my nails. Plus they charged 5 dollars just to trim my cuticles!!! Wth. Will not be going back.

Ive been here twice and both times Ive left only to notice dry, rough patches still on my feet. My toenails looked good and have held up, but the overall pedicure wasnt good at all.

Quinn, Jenni and Bea do a great job. #1 & 8 also but I havent gotten their names yet lol.

Ive been patronizing this nail salon for more than 15 years. For the most part, they are excellent. Once in awhile, Ive gotten someone that does a substandard job. Ive learned to book ahead to get the tech I want.

The only problem is they are so good there can be a wait if you go on Saturday. Ive been going there for years and they just moved to a bigger shop. They need it.

After a long week I needed an awesome pedicure. They did an amazing job.

Went here a few months ago and I asked them to do an almond shape they were so dumbfounded by what i meant I showed them a picture and it was totally uneven it was horrible looking it was so thick and slapped on there. then today i decided to give them a 2nd chance. big mistake! they dont care about what the customer wants. I wanted them long and she wouldnt listen she just made them how she wanted them. they were once again uneven and I wanted a square shape and she made them way to rounded. it was so sloppy and careless. they had very snappy attitudes. they really dont care how you want them. they just do as they please and dont make a 100% effort to make the customer happy. Will not ever be giving them a 3rd chance.

Went with my friend and they kept pushing us to do gel and shallac which is more and didn’t do my friends nail shape correct at all and left her middle finger bleeding and just blended the blood in with the polish and left my nails not completely painted and acrylic super thick and nails are already lifting and decided to charge us $40 each when their sign says $25 and up when my friend got one color and I got two wouldn’t recommend😬

The woman who did my nails was rude and didnt do a good job. All nails are different lengths and poorly shaped. Sad that I paid for this service.
