Kyle knows what haircut will look good on me and I am always very satisfied when I walk out of the salon. My husband likes it also.I enjoy coming to get a good haircut and enjoy my time there.

This place is absolutely amazing! I called around to about 20 different salons yesterday trying to get a last minute appt and they were the only ones who could get me in same day. I wish I remembered my stylist name but I dont. But she was absolutely amazing!! And did exactly what I asked for and never once complained that the appt took 3 hours!! I will definitely be back!

I took my mom for haircut for mother’s day after a long time because of pandemic. They were professional and took precautions so you feel comfortable. My mom has soft and straight hair. Morris was great and very detailed . She spend time to bring texture and style to her hair.

A little unfriendly upon entry and then waited 15 mins for stylist who was very friendly and did a nice job.

Stephen L Marvin is a great place. Ive been coming here for years. A few times when I decide to try another salon, I always end up coming back here. They are professional, and the head massage Allison gives when she shampoos my hair is heavenly. I am grateful to have such a great place just down the road. I highly recommend. Every stylist here is great! They have strong COVID-19 precautions, and prices are reasonable.

Just had my first massage by Emily and it was honestly the best experience. If I had to rate it I would put it at a 100/10 and will definitely be returning as a regular. She made the experience very comfortable and I feel 1000 times better in such a short time. Amazing job Emily and thank you!

Somewhat disappointed! None of the staff was very friendly, especially the man who cashed me out at the end of my appointment - seemed like I was inconveniencing him. I was not told that could not tip my stylist with my credit card until afterwards, but luckily I had cash on hand. Lindsey did a great job with my hair, and was very thorough!

I received a pedicure. Customer service is good, but not what I would consider a day spa environment. The salon looked upbeat and fun!

I’m new to Michigan and wanted to treat myself to a manicure as my nails needed it as well as an eyebrow waxing. The staff is friendly and the environment is clean and welcoming. My eyebrow waxing was okay. I wish I would’ve paid more attention though as I realized after I left that there were spots missed. The manicure was relaxing, but for the dollar amount I didn’t feel like it was worth it. I was never asked what length and shape I wanted, my cuticles weren’t cleaned up and the actual painting of my nails was were ok. Again, I wish I would’ve paid more attention and said something sooner.

I will definitely go back. I would recommend the salon to everyone. Alicen was my stylist. Very professional and extremely nice. I walked out very happy.

I saw Alicen and she was great! Friendly, professional, and did a good job with my highlights. I’m very, very tender headed and Alicen was cautious about that.

Went for a mini manicure. It was incredibly uncomfortable. I felt like I was in a dirty back room. The nail technician was nice but didnt know how to take off my gel polish. They werent prepared for me to be there. In 50 minutes I had polish off one nail. She left the room twice for long periods of time. I eventually just got up and left. I was so frazzled I needed a massage after leaving. It wasnt just poor service, it was a sad experience. I hope with improvements they get better, as they came to me as a recommendation.

Allison was awesome! She was easy to talk to and made me feel at ease with her knowledge and experience. She was able to work within my budget. It was expensive but I was really happy with the finished product! Which is hard to find considering what I wanted wasnt really the norm. Definitely recommend her for fantasy colors!

They are very welcoming and treat you like family. They take your coat when you walk in and assist putting it on when you leave. They have taken extraordinary measures for the coronavirus. Check your temp when you walk in. All wear masks. And when shampooed, wear a shield. Every station is sanitized between clients. A sad time for all.You get a nice scalp massage when shampooed. Steven did a fantastic job selecting what coloring would be best for me. The cut and styling are always fantastic. I get lots of compliments from my friends. You wont be disappointed with their services.

Steven has ensured a safe environment and Kyle is talented and thorough every time. Love going there for hair care.

I have wimpy hair, and I love her haircuts to maximize fullness for me. She always is upbeat and makes me glad Im at her salon. We pick a particualr salon to relax, right? Sauls style, way about him and his ability to know what I want is amazing. I just adore him and love that he lets me sit in peace. I hate straining to make conversation. He allows me to close my eyes and enjoy the quiet. I speak all day everyday. This 30-60 min every 3 months is my break from reality. The atmosphere is calm and quiet. The setting is like most other hair salons.

I have been going to this salon for many years. The staff is friendly and the salon is very clean. Ive gone to Marie for my hair cuts for as long as I can remember. She does an excellent job and she is also an amazing person. I feel blessed to know her.

Jen was fantastic and I plan on returning. She took her time to listen to what I wanted and did exactly that. She did a great cut and partial highlight and Ive gotten so many compliments! Ive always been upset with past hair experiences elsewhere, but not here! They got me in last minute, which was great and offered me something to drink. The place is clean and has friendly staff. Reasonable prices, too. Remember, you get what you pay for. This place is not a 15$ hair cut drive through.

She was very professional and kind, and I could tell that she cared about her job, as well as me as a client. Loved my massage

I saw Steven for a few years. He is awesome! He has been in the business for over 30 years and he is the only one of the many stylists I have seen in the last 37 years that really knows what he is doing. I have very frizzy, curly hair and I am very picky when it comes to my hair. I never question his judgment on how to cut or color my hair because when I walk out of there I am NEVER disappointed. With so many other stylists my hair looked good until I had to style it myself. I have never in my life received so many compliments on the color and cut of my hair. You know when you get a good haircut when you run your fingers through it and it feels so silky. He cuts your hair to the shape and frame of your face. Unfortunately, I moved to Arizona 2 years ago and it wasnt until 2 weeks ago I found a girl that does my hair exactly like Steven. They are the only two people that have made me feel like a million bucks when I walk out of the salon. You wont be disappointed with Steven.

My daughter wanted her hair dip dyed for her birthday. Many of her friends have it done and she has been begging me. So, I call the salon to get an estimate. I gave clear details of what I was looking for. I wanted her ends stripped and then color added. I was quoted between 80 and 100 after clearly telling them she had thick curly hair and approximately how long it was. So, we get to the salon and while shes looking over her hair I ask again how much its going to be and she tells me *200* because of the steps it takes (makes no mention of her hair length, thickness or anything as being a reason for the price hike - just that its considered a full foil of stripping and then a full foil of color - even though she did about 3 inches up on the ends of her hair...). I tell her about the person that I spoke to that quoted me the price, but all she tells me there is this all in 1 process that lifts the hairs color and adds the fun color - for 100. She tells mydaughter to not wash it for a day, and then for the first few days to start with cool water to keep the color vibrant. I was also told this was permanent color. 2 1/2 weeks later and the color I paid 100.00 for is completely gone from her hair. She was already crushed she couldnt have the color she was looking for (as this all in 1 process only came in 2).. We shouldve left with the price dispute but I had an already painfully disappointed daughter and wanted her to get it done. I trusted the person doing the job that this would do the same thing as the process I had described but now I have an even more disappointed daughter with no color in her hair

Since I have been a client for so many years, it is obvious that I am extremely happy with all the services I receive. Love the Aveda products they use and the results I get with using them at home. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for beautiful results. I have recommended them to many friends and many of my family members are clients...including my husband!

Got a pedicure here. It was very relaxing! Love that you get to keep the bottle of opi polish. The area that they do pedicures in was a little small and it got too hot back there. They dont have the massage chairs if that matters to you. Personally I enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere and the aveda products.

I have been a client since 1991. Without a doubt, this is the finest salon for a variety of experiences. From the usual hair color and styling/cutting services, to manicures and the special event spa days, this is the place to enjoy. It is easy to schedule your appointments. Stylists are caring and knowledgable. Aveda products are available for purchase and are generously employed by all of the staff. You might arrive feeling blue, but you will feel golden when your day at Stevens is done!

I went to Steven Marvin Salon for my wedding half up-do and makeup. They took great care of me and my family/friends who were either spectating or getting their hair done as well. I wanted something very specific for my hair style and the stylist, Marcy, worked with me (and a Youtube vid) to get it just right! She did an excellent job creating a Woven Knot. My makeup was great too. She used a super light base that I swear I didnt feel once it was dry. And finally they worked with the timeline. I had to be in and out in 1.5 hours and they did it beautifully!thanks!

Didnt even get to make it in because they kept calling me and changing the time because they didnt have time for me ? Are you serious ? I had my appointment all week then you call me a day before to say they dont have room for me ?? Then call me 20 mins before my appointment to tell me they dont have time for me again ?? How unprofessional never will I ever try and go there again. Horrible.
