I took my teenage son to Dr Benzing to have his wisdom teeth removed. I am so pleased with our experience! I have already recommended them to a friend. We had the procedure done on a Friday morning. The procedure went wonderfully well. I was concerned about how recovery at home would be but it was fine. I called with random questions a few times and everyone was so nice! They were willing to help with any questions. I never felt like I was bothering them. You could hear the genuine tone in their voices when they said they were happy to help. They were absolutely amazing. I cannot express how pleased I was. My son recovered with no issues. I would highly recommend this team!!

I had my wisdom teeth removed yesterday, my experience was amazing, it litterly felt like 2 seconds they did such a good job, Dr Benzing walked me through every part of the surgrey and very well into detail, its day 2 of my recovery and i have barley any swelling and barley and pains

I recently swiched Periodontists to Dr. Nathalie Rivero. She is absolutely wonderful. People with perio issues will tell you how stressful and emotional it can be. It is so good to have such a friendly and empathetic periodontist. She had to pull a tooth of mine this morning and Im so glad it was her. She kept checking to make sure I was ok. She even massaged my jaws for me when it was over because she knows they can get sore. All the staff is great, including her assistants Cora and Patti. If you have perio issues, try them out. The only negative comment I have is that they dont have hygienists on staff for cleanings... maybe someday!

My overall experience was okay. I’m mainly writing this review to educate people on what they may or may not know. There are risk that can happen when having dental work done just like any other procedure. The summer of 2019 I went in to have a wisdom tooth removed. Since that day the numbness to my left lower lip, chin, and jaw area has never fully went away. It’s painful to the touch everyday. I was referred out to a pain clinic and I have been seeing them for pain management for the last year. Since being referred out I have not personally heard anything from Nu Image. I have finally accepted that this is permanent nerve damage and will live with it for the rest of my life. Just be aware this is something that does and can happen.

Went to see Dr. Benzing yesterday and was feeling a little anxious. It was a consultation appointment, but he was able to work me in for the oral surgery that was quick and painless! Dr. Benzing and his staff were amazing. They made me feel very relaxed and talked me through the process. It was quick and easy. I would highly recommend Dr. Benzing and his team.

What can I say about my experience other than WOW. I started having horrible pains in my mouth in late December. My primary dentist was full for quite a while, so I went to see Carolinas Dentist in Cary. She took a panoramic x-ray and noted that my wisdom teeth were coming in hot. She referred me over to Nu Image in Holly Springs since it was located so close to our home. Carolinas Dentist faxed over my x-ray and within 30 minutes, someone from Nu Image called to schedule my same day surgery, where I would have a consult with Dr. Benzing on the same day as my procedure. They let me know the next date, asked me for my insurance information and got me scheduled. Within a week, I received my insurance quote and what my out of pocket cost would be. They offer Care Credit as a payment option, which works great for my family! On the day of the procedure, everyone was so friendly, from the front office staff to the nurses to Dr. Benzing. In particular, the two nurses who worked with me were phenomenal, I wish I got their names! They were so comforting to me when I got scared about the IV. They distracted me, made sure I was comfortable and kept reassuring me. This practice provided me a heated blanket, supplemental oxygen, and a very comfortable chair for the procedure. Once it was all done, they gave me a goodie bag with ice cream and an ice pack! I could not be happier with my experience. They were so thorough, both Dr. Benzing and his nurses walked me through each step so well. I really cant praise this practice enough, from start to finish they made my experience wonderful and I was a nervous wreck! I would highly recommend this practice for patients of all ages.

Wonderful experience for my daughter. Dr. Benzing walked her through the process in a manner that helped a 10 year old convert from being nervous to relaxed going into the procedure.

These people are so good, you almost wish you could have more problems they could fix. I have to go back for a 2nd surgery today, but I am very excited to go back and be treated like a queen. Went today for wisdom teeth removal and I had a very great experience. I was so nervous at first but every body there made me feel safe and comfortable. Will definitely recommend to others.

Their consultation appointments are sham! They literally charged me $85 for recommending a dentist! Details - I scheduled a dental implant consultation appointment with them. On the day of appointment while sitting in the operation room with doctors assistant, she told me that there is nothing they can do if I dont have a dentist currently. I recently moved to Holly springs and yet to find a good dentist. Basically without my dentist name they cant do much. Thats fine but when I called for an appointment, they didnt say anything about dentist, while filling out the form in hallway they didnt say anything about dentist. Whole appointment could have been avoided if they have given me this info while setting up an appointment on phone. Due to lack of my dentist, I talked with their doctor for 5 mins regarding some basic info about how dental impact is done which is already on their website. Most of time I just waited in the operating room. They had no shame to take money for doing nothing.

I can’t say enough about Dr Benzing and the staff - I had my lower impacted wisdom tooth removed - I’m a difficult stick for IVs & revival from anesthesia- the whole experience was handled like I was the only patient- Nikki assisting with initial documentation , Dr Benzing calling me Friday night for patient follow-up - I can’t recall of the staff names, please know you are appreciated!! 2020 continues to be a bull in a china shop, just know this office clears a path to wellness with ease !!!

Definitely recommend coming here. I got all four of my wisdom teeth removed and was very nervous but both the assistants and Dr. Benzing reassured me it was nothing to worry about and took me through the whole process of what they will be doing explaining everything. Best of all I got sent home with some ice cream. I would also want to thank the doctor, staff, assistants, & the anesthesiologists at NU image for making this a great experience.

I’ve never had such a good experience at a dental practice. The staff was kind enough to get me in for an emergency consult and a quick schedule for my following procedure. They are courteous, helpful, kind, and caring. I’d recommend anyone here for implants or extractions. Dr. Benzig even called me in the evening to ensure all was well and to see if I had any questions or concerns. GREAT people!

Best experience ever! Dr. Benzing is amazing! I had right side extracted at a different Holly Spring office. It was the worst experience and had the most excruciating pain! I was in bed taking painkillers for a week. I thought it was normal until after. I believe I had a dry socket. Today I had my left side extracted and the staff and Dr. Benzing were phenomenal! Beyond kind, explained everything clearly and went out of their way to comfort me. They knew I was extra nervous. Dr. Benzing even took his time to call and see how I was doing or if I had any questions. Its been 10 hrs and I feel amazing compared to last experience. Slight ache, the norm. If I ever need any more oral surgeries I am not going to think twice. Thank you Dr. Benzing &staff! I am so grateful!! On top of that, they gave me a Syringe, gauges, cold patch & ICE CREAM! (I didn’t get any of this from the other office...not even the essential syringe)

I got my wisdom teeth out today... yay! I know, yay?! Sounds crazy, right? I have severe panic disorder and I was so worried about the whole ordeal.... I mean, I put it off for YEARS... However, Dr. Benzing was amazing from start to finish and the staff made me feel so safe and comfortable! Oh yeah, and IV sedation was definitely the way to go! 🙌

We had a great experience here for a wisdom teeth removal (to the extent that having teeth pulled can be a great experience.) The clinic was able to accommodate a narrow scheduling window when my kid started having pain just a couple weeks before coming home for spring break. Dr. Benzing and Dr. George (last name) were part of a great team that made sure to answer all of our possible questions and make us feel comfortable with the procedure, which went just fine, and recovery was just a couple days with no complications.

I was so pleased with my experience at Nu Image. I had to have 3 teeth extracted and two of which were very infected and very painful. From start to finish, the experience was pleasant and far less traumatic than what I’ve experienced in the past. I highly recommend them!!!

I had my wisdom teeth out in May and Dr. Benzing and the staff was amazing at making me feel comfortable during the whole procedure. I was pretty nervous about the procedure but before I knew it I was done. The healing process was very easy as well. I would recommend Nuimage for any oral surgery needs.

My husband has had a tooth extracted by Dr. Benzing, and I just had one extracted by Dr. Immediata, and we both had great experiences. Everyone is super nice and very professional.

This place will charge you either 70 to 100% of the cost of the service even though you have an active insurance. They would tell you that you will get reimbursed by your insurance for any over payment in the form of a check. This will NEVER happen since the insurance will ALWAYS send Nu Image the check NOT you and Nu Image will have to write you a check because they have got paid twice.This takes a long time since the insurance will receive the claim and process it in a week or two and then they will mail the payment to Nu Image which takes days or a week and then Nu image have to go through all the patients accounts that have credits and then see you have a credit and then send you the check. This is a big deal if your payment is over a thousand dollar but they do not really care.This is the worst practice I have ever seen and believe me I have visited many dentists, hospitals over the years.If you have an insurance and specially if it is in network, you SHOULD only pay Coinsurance and any deductible your insurance plan may have. Your dental coverage can be verified the same day of the service if it is still active by calling the insurance company or online which they refuse to do.In brief, if you need a service that can be done by going to a general dentist, please go there. This may include extractions, dental implants, etc. However, if your dentist can not perform the needed services, then you can go here as the quality of service is good.The rating of this place is 4 stars for the quality of service and 0 stars for the billing practices.

Absolutely amazing experience from start to finish. I took my son to have his wisdom teeth removed and everyone was so caring and professional. Dr. Benzing and Tori went above and beyond to make sure that my sons needs were met. I highly recommend this practice to anyone who may be a bit nervous with dental surgery. They were so good at what they did that my son had little to no pain afterwards. Awesome people!!!

I was referred to Nu Image after being diagnosed with a fractured molar root the evening before seeing them. The discomfort was quite impressive and they were very accommodating to fit me in that morning with one of their providers who accepted my MetLife Dental Insurance. Dr. Benzing and his staff were very professional and reassuring (Im a RN and a little picky) and their competency and technique provided for a pain free extraction. Im only using Ibuprofen and Tylenol the day after for minimal discomfort. Thank you and a definite 5-star experience!

I am a recent patient (just had surgery yesterday), and I just want to say that this is the most professional and warmest team I have ever met in the medical field. You havent been around professionals until youve gone to Nu Image.I never had surgery in my entire life and Im 23. The experience of have a tooth extracted could mot have been lesstraumatic. This crew of professionals made my experience seem so routine and casual that I was able to relax and not be anxious. Dr. Benzing followed up that evening with a phone call to make sure I was doing well. If you ever need any dental surgery this is the place to go.

I think the NuImage Office in Holly Springs is wonderful. I highly recommend Dr. Benzing. He extracted my tooth and did my bone graft. One year later I went in for the implant. He explains everything and is very kind. He did an amazing job. The office staff and nurses are great too.

....got an appointment quickly due to another patient cancelling. I was self pay so i had to discuss with the doctor which teeth were the most trouble cause i couldnt afford all they wanted to do. Nurse called me rude and disrespectful because i couldnt afford what they wanted done. Then She told me I should be lucky to get seen so quickly, then why offer me this appointment.. Even though I wasnt comfortable with some of the staff, they did a good job and im healing quickly.. 3 stars for the good work they did..

I had to go to Nu Image because my regular Dr could not get my tooth out. They got me an immediate appointment . I was not happy about driving from Wake Forest to Holly Springs but it was totally worth it. The staff are compationate and professional. Dr. Benzing was amazing. He told me everything he was doing, was personable and careful. His assistant paid consistent attention to me. Ok, so the shots hurt, I wont lie, but when I was appropriately numb he got the tooth out in 5 minutes. As far as the fee, it was fair and less than I expected. I am retired, so that was good news. AND they sent me home with ice cream. I highly recommend this practice!!!

I had my wisdom teeth removed and was very nervous but the atmosphere of the whole establishment calmed me down and the staff was excellent. My nurse, Christi, was an absolute sweetheart who talked me through everything and made sure i was very comfortable. The doctor himself couldnt have been any nicer, he was great. The procedure was painless and they made sure i was alert and ok before they released me. Even released me with goodberries ice cream!

Dr. Benzing and the staff at Nu Image are the best!!! My husband recently had all four wisdom teeth extracted as well as 3 additional teeth. He was extremely nervous and anxious to have this done. Dr. Benzing and the staff at Nu Image were so incredibly understanding and patient. They walked us through everything we needed and always said the right thing to make my husband feel comfortable.Dr. Benzing truly cares about his patients and never makes you feel rushed, answering all the questions you may have. After my husband had his procedure his recovery went great! Anytime he was nervous about something or wasnt sure if something was normal Nu Image was available to answer all his questions. They were incredibly helpful and always made time for us to come in and see the doctor to double check all was well. Dr. Benzing was so incredibly understanding of my husbands anxiety about the procedure. After years of suffering, thanks to Dr. Benzing my husband can finally now put this all behind him.

I was very nervous the day i had to have my teeth pulled but the Dentist was kind and gentle with me. the only problem i had was i paid my bill in full and told them when they submit my claim to Blue cross to indicate that the bill was paid and send the check to me which they said they would. I even called up the office to verify it will come to me and they said yes it will go to you well low and behold it was sent to the Dentist that;s how they filed the claim, and now i have to wait for them to get the check from Blue Cross before they can send me a check even though i paid in full ,Im not very happy about it i dont why but they said thats how its done. It left a bad taste in my mouth but the Dentist himself couldnt be any nicer.

This place was a clerical nightmare on the actual day of my extraction. Wanted my husband and I told pay close to $1100 out of pocket, even after speaking to our insurance rep....What a waste of time and engery. I actually scheduled with my dentist to have my teeth removed in her office. What a mess!!! Never again. Meeting my behind! What a cop out!

I very rarely leave reviews but this place definitely deserves it! My oldest (12) had 4 teeth removed. The staff were courteous and professional! They did a fantastic job taking care of my baby. My only problem I had was I was given a quote at the consultation and when I arrived I was asked to pay a price that was almost $300 more than my quote. Luckily I had the paperwork. I’m not sure why this occurred but if you receive a quote, hold onto it just in case. Thank you to the staff at Nuimage and Thank you to the doctor who called to check on my baby personally after her surgery!
