Horrible experience with U-Haul as well as their staff and rates review. I highly recommend just renting a box truck or a pickup truck instead it would be much cheaper. Customer service is horrible person I talked to on the phone was on hold for 30 minutes didnt have a clue of what I was asking. I merely asked for an extra hour extension to drop off my U-Haul and was told I would be charged another full day of $90 when it says on the side of their vans rent me for a $19.99 or $29.99 . Be sure to always read the fine print and when I told the gentleman the store about my experience he said well I can always charge you more if you like this kind of customer service is unacceptable and I dont recommend this company to anyone anywhere find a friend with a pickup truck or just go to Avis or another rental place. They nickel and dimed me to death. And the condition of the truck was horrible it was even smashed into the side of the building when I went to go pick it up I have pictures of those as well. To which the manager replied yeah I got a guy that doesnt know how to back up trucks very well. And my personal management experience I would have reprimanded this person a while ago. Unfortunately it was the only option for me at the time but I do not recommend U-Haul to anyone, anywhere, ever. And the shop was so dirty and nasty it look like something out of the 1970s that hadnt been cleaned. I didnt even get a simple hello when I walked in the door I was I guess not important enough to say hello to.

Great guy, funny and laid back personality. Made the rental easy with convenient after hours return. Enclosed trailer was in good shape and squeaky clean.

I came into the Uhaul on Thursday for a “one way trailer” to pick up on Saturday morning. I received an email confirming my rental but it said “in town”. i called on Friday and was “assured” that the reservations were confirmed for “one way”. when we arrived early Saturday morning everything went south. Marvin said Chris was new and needed to know the consequences of Chris ordering the trailer wrong. obviously at OUR expense. not only did they NOT have ANY trailers to go one way they could not accommodate us. we asked them about the other trailers and said “those have been rented but haven’t been picked up and it wouldn’t be fair for the other people to now have their trailer”. They didn’t try to make this right. oh wait! they wanted me to drive to FRESNO to pick up the trailer than i would have to drive back to pick up my bike. i said no that’s unacceptable. now i have to fly back in another few weeks to try and rent another trailer since UHAUL has a monopoly on motorcycle trailers! I told them i flew from Washington state to pick up my bike and now i have to make another trip out. not happy. and to top it off i left my damn lic their!

Marvin G. was unbelievabley helpful with getting us all set up with our uhaul truck and auto transport. Really blown away with how much time and effort he put in to make sure our vehicle was loaded properly and made sure to answer all our questions. Fantastic service overall. Were super grateful for all the help!

Hollister has the best U-Haul .very polite, helping in every avenue to get you going

Rented from here a couple times and didnt have a problem. Although, my last experience was the WORST! My guaranteed rental was not there. The gas gauge level on the paperwork was different from the gauge on the truck (not in my favor). The truck was not swept. Worst of all, I got attitude when I mentioned these grievances. I talked to corporate about it all and received an email about a partial refund. However, its been over a month and I havent seen this magical refund!

Because one of the works .he has long hair. Is really considerate & goes out of his way to help you..
