Total rip off artist took my car in to get check engine light diagnosed and air conditioning fixed the check engine light was back on before i got my car home ac worked for a day 400$ later and my car is the exact same as before i took it there and of course their response is, it could be several different reasons for check engine light thought thats what a diagnostic was for to rule out what the problem was the lady who answered the phone hung up on me. Way to rip a single mother off muffler man

Had to get estimate on whole muffler system as its an older vehicle..!! I already knew what needed to be done as my mechanic had already informed me..!! Top notch honesty is first and foremost with me and they hit the nail on the head..!! Parts need to be ordered so I get to wait a week for them to come in..!! Will update after the repairs are made..!!

Everytime my boyfriend comes here, he spends some good money here. However within a week or two he has another issue with the vehicle. I almost feel like they cause the problems so he has to come back. I finally talked him into a NEW mechanic! No issues since. Sorry muffler man, just my opinion. But Not a good look for you... Not the first time Ive heard this about your place either..Update: He had another issue with the vehicle and had to bring it back to you. Not only did you give him fast service, but a pretty good deal. I would like to thank you for the great service this time around.

These guys have been amazing for us! 2 weeks ago we took our vehicle in because the power steering went out. Everything on the vehicle is electronic, so we knew it wasn’t the pump. They took the extra time to dig a little deeper in the car because the diagnostics weren’t registering anything. Ended up being a rodent had chewed through a bunch of wires and some of the wiring harness. Had Jim not spent the time to look, we would have not figured it out. Kuddos to him! Fast forward to the 20th and the car did it again. Couldn’t believe it. We took the car back in and they looked it all over again and it ended up being a squirrel had started chewing again. They quick fixed it up for us today and treated us so amazingly too! Good honest people. Thank you to Jim, Virgil and the rest of the guys that work there! You’re awesome! Definitely go to them for your car needs. You won’t be disappointed!!

Difficult to deal with on the phone and worse in person! Not helpful answering any questions when I dropped my vehicle off and rude when I picked it up! Never called with a quote only once it was done and $400, twice what I expected.

Worst experience ever. I called when they first opened needing my window repaired on Friday. The owner told me if I brought it in it would be done by the end of the day. So i dropped off the vehicle at 830am. I never heard from them and it was 1pm so i called. The guy said that he never stated it would be done today . he lied just to get my car there. Then they finished at 4pm so I took a lyft there my debit card wasnt working and my mother offered to pay for it he would not accept her payment over the phone instead he threatend to keep my car until Tuesday morning. Thats FIVE days!!!! I told him i work in grand rapids and need my car again begged him to accept her payment he said no then told my young daughter and i that we werent allowed to sit in the lobby we had to sit outside. I have never been treated so poorly. Luckily my friend came and saved me but Ill never go back there. Later i found out the lyft app I downloaded and took there to get the car did suspicious activity so they held my account . They never stated how payment would go before doing the work and i have paid over the phone at other shops and picked up my car after closeing with no issue before. This was an emergency and couldnt even cut me slack after spending 400 dollars there.

We were in from out of town and had some exhaust noise. They got us in quickly. Our car was kind of on its last legs, and they were honest and willing to do just what was necessary to keep it going quietly. The high rating is definitely deserved!

If I could give zero starts I would. Just trying to rob you blind. Would not release my car back to me unless I signed that they didnt damage it when they checked it. When I refused to sign and asked for my car back. The police were called on me... Wth kind of customer service is that....

This is a great place to get car repairs. I have been coming here for years and they have always done a good job. I know enough about cars that I know their pricing is fair. I just dont like working on cars :)They have oil changes under $20 as well. They cant be making money on that so its more of a customer appreciation gesture I suspect.The work is quality. I havent had to go back to get a repair reworked. They always go the extra mile and will call to give you an estimate and confirmation to proceed with the work.Thank you Muffler Man team!

Estimate given was overpriced and they didnt even explain why the repairs were needed to be done. I ended up getting a second opinion and got my car fixed the right price and the honest way. I felt rushed when speaking to the technician and customer service was not their expertise.

Everytime I come to this location they NEVER have time to look at my cars. Its always days out. Most of the time its drop it off two or three days from now and we will see if we can look at it. They really did a number on my van I had to take it to 3 deferent shops so I could figure out what the problems were found out that the work they did was the problem and they broke my front grill it took forever just to get them to get me another one and it didnt even look as good as the one I had terrible service .be smart dont use!!!
