Some of the meanest people work here. Worse experience every week when I ship out my eBay packages. They always have an attitude with me. And make me come back with my packages they won’t ship unless the box is perfect for me. There’s only one woman there who will fix the box for me if it needs tape and she’s very patient. Unfortunately I never get to see her it’s always someone with a problem with me. Worst post office on the island.

I had Apple air pods ordered from Amazon deliveredthrough your location and for about two weeks it was at your location never delivered. Finally ,Amazon reached out to me and sent me a new one because it was mysteriously vanished from your location. This is the second time I have had issues with the post office and the way I receive my orders. -5 stars if I could put it.

Their service was poor, I went to take some passport photos and the lady said she can’t cut the extra photos she’s only allowed to do two. That doesn’t make any sense.

Recently had a package go missing. Turns out the first number of my address was cut off the edge of the shipping label. The guys were extremely helpful and got me my package within an hour. Thanks for your help!

Third bad experience, 2 different employees. First one put a hand up in my 12 y/o sons face and told him to stop moving....hes ADHD and 12 in a post office....be real.(plus I was the customer not my child) Second one it was 424 got money orders always fill them out there they tape envelope and take it to mail...I thought closing was 5 but apparently it was 430...I filled them out quick, turned around to hand them in and the guy stares at me while lowering the gate to block me off while standing there to hand it to him..just barely turned 429 and was waiting to hand it in. Rents gonna be late!!....not everything mailed is a vaca post card they are important things...didnt want to see the post office go , now I dont give a ****. Nasty people.

No complains unless youre expecting a package delivered on a Sunday. The odds of the package making it to your home are 50/50, with either a unexpected delay, the carrier not being able to make it to your front door(although there is no gate), or some other BS excuse. Otherwise, my regular carrier and service at the post office itself has been excellent.

The lady in the back was very very helpful, arrived 20 minutes before close and she didn’t make it a problem and got my 20 pieces of mail through with ease and was very nice! Thank you

Dont give proper updates on deliveries. Are less than helpful regarding package pickup. Had a line to the door and 3 people at desk but one refused to help customers and was just selling stamps.

I recently relocated from Holbrook to North Carolina. My accountant messed up, so my checks were sent via mail (instead of direct-deposit). Thank you to the Holbrook Post Office for forwarding my tax returns to my new address. You guys are the best!!!!

Ill prob never say this again but I like this post office and the service that was provided. I went to start and new passport application. Made an appointment, took 15mins to complete and pay. Fast and easy. I had to come here, I live in queens and I made 3 trips to the ones near where I live with nothing to show for it. Repeatedly told me to make appointment over the phone to a number that didnt accept appointments.Anyone who wants any advice about passport application: go to any post office in Suffolk like this one and not in Nassau or the 5 boroughs.

Is it possible to give a minus review? USPS Holbrook was supposed to deliver an important package on Sunday 11/12. I got a notice saying they could not make the delivery because my mailbox was blocked . B.S.!!!!!!!!!!!! My mailbox is next to a fire hydrant and I was in my front yard raking leaves at the time they said they tried to deliver my package!

DESIREE from Holbrook location is the sweetest, most caring person working in there. She is always there to help and truly cares about her customers. I had an incident today and without her compassion along with the post masters compassion, my life would be in a big mess right now. I am so thankful and hope that she sees this message! DO NOT trust the stated open hours if youre looking to mail an insured package or anything else that requires service by a human postal worker. I was hoping to mail a package at 5am on my way to work, but only the lobby was open for PO box customers and those looking to place mail in drop boxes. The 3 stars I rated are of a nonchelant opinion due to the retail section being closed. The actual opening time is 9am. Not 4:30am!!! One unique feature about this post office is that they do passports, but those hours are from 10am to 3:30pm.

When one sends something out Priority mail on Tuesday at 9am and is informed that it will arrive on Wednesday, one expects that to happen BUT things did not go as planned. I am very disappointed with this post office, the way my complaint was handled, and the lack of customer care. My package did not arrive on Wed., Thursday, Friday, nor has it arrived as of yet (today is Saturday.) I first contacted the 800 number after realizing that my package was scanned once at 6:50 on Wednesday morning, nothing after that. The hold time was very long so I asked for a call back. They did call me back, I explained the situation, they gave me a case number, and informed me that someone was going to call me in two days=unacceptable. I contacted the Holbrook location and spoke with Giovanni who was a pleasure to work with. He said that I would have a status update by the end of the day, that never happened. He explained that he was going to give my information to Dom (Don?) so I could follow-up the next day and he would be able to assist me. I called at 7am and Giovanni answered , he quickly passed me to Dom who had horrible customer service skills. His what do you want me to tell you attitude is not what a complaining customer should be hearing. I have my receipt and it is clearly marked with an expected delivery for Wednesday. I understand that things happen but this was an envelope containing important documents and I needed to know where it was or at least assist me in finding it. The lack of customer assistance was mind boggling. I am glad that I called the Farningdale post office (Giovanni mentioned that the envelope ended up there) because Evan is someone who knows about excellent customer service, following-up, and was there to make sure that the needs of the client were met. Looks like I will be taking a ride to Farmingdale the next time I need to send out an important package.

Yes, stamps, but also all size bubble pack bags, boxes, cards and anything else you could want to mail, plus Passport info, all in a streamlined proffessionaly facility with plenty of parking and drive through mail drop off.

The mail carriers is the worst if I had an option I Wil put 0 stars. They always put other tenants mail in my mail box. My mail has been missing because they dont know how to read apartment numbers.

Typical USPS. Several machines so you dont have to wait in line. But, the line wait is only medium long.
