Im adding a 1 star for now. If my problem is fixed ill make the proper changes.So my new review is ready. I got most of my issues resolved but I feel as though I shouldnt have to pay for an amendment that wasnt my fault. I gave him my info including the 1099g form but he never put the 1099g form. So why should I pay for his mistake??With that said I give this a 4 star rating.i hope this was informal to anyone reading this.

I been with H&R BLOCK FOR YEARS SO SOMETHING MUST TO RIGHT THE SERVICE ETC IS JUST WOUNDERFUL NO PROBLEM

SO easy to do, Christine was AWESOME to work with. Efficient, detail-oriented and maximized my return for me!!

Is always easy to file my taxes with H&R Block.

Had to go to the office 3 times. First day Thursday, took 2 hours to go through my taxes, could not figure out how to close it out. Tax Consultant told me to come back Monday. Emails me over the weekend. advising I needed a tax form. I come in Monday and my taxes were not completed nor ready to be filed, hence wasting my time coming in rather telling me I should not come in as its not ready as I was still searching for the form. That night I sent the form to the Tax Consultant claim she needed, and we scheduled a 3rd meeting on Tuesday. Tuesday, I come in, and the tax consultant advised they did not need the Form at all, but it will now be finished by Wednesday. When I was in the office, loud rap music from the receptionist, and Tax Consultant took calls during our session, delaying our process even more. Tuesday & Wednesday drove far away for no reason where the professionals should have told me not to come in to begin with. Lack of professionalism not knowing what forms I needed, delaying the process further. Tax Consultant tried to tag on an additional $55 of added fees to the agreeable $342 fee because I opted to pay online, as I refused to come in for a 4th time. Tax Consultant quickly removed the chargers proving they tried to overcharge me. I would advise be very careful and question what you are being charged for, because I am a Single Filer, No mortgage, no dependents. Next year I am taking my business somewhere else.

Would not recommend it to anyone based on my experience with one of their accountants. I spent too much money on my returns and still cannot get a definitive answer to my questions. The agent I worked with (Raymond Hall in the Hoboken office) was incredible helpful in explaining the intricacies of my multiple state filing. He gave me useful tips for my next years filings and advice on my 401K. He also made sure to explain each step of the filing in a way that I was able to understand.

Exceptional Service received again from Bharvin. He talked me through every step and even assisted in retrieving important information to ensure everything could be completed in one day. In particular helping to look up my wifes I-94 information was a great help.

Neeta was great and made the process so easy for us. We highly recommend her.

Have been going to H&R Block Hoboken office for several years now. Raymond Hall is a true professional and I find him to be an invaluable tax preparer.

Had an appointment today at 12, wasnt seen till about 1:15. The lady that took care of me had her computer crash, so I ended up waiting over an hour and then longer for her to restar her computer. She informed me that it would be $377 to do my taxes. So that was the biggest waste of time. Extremely dissapointed and dissatisfied with my experience with H&R block. The best they were able to do was offer me a $25 off coupon in exchange for making me wait over an hour. My taxes are extremely simple too. No mortgage, no dependents, very straight forward.
