I’ve always received the haircut I asked for at Supercuts. I do have my favorite hair stylist though and actually schedule my schedule around hers just so I can book her. But she’s not telling anyone my secrets so don’t bother asking. Thanks Julie!

I booked online and came in 10 minutes before appointment and I was informed that there was a 45-60 minute wait. I canceled my appointment and left. They know how to take the reservations they just don’t know how to keep the reservation. That’s the most important part of the reservation. Keeping it.

I booked an appointment with the Google reservations, and they told me that it is a check-in time and that I would still have to wait as it is first come, first served. What is the point of a reservation then!? This is not how reservations work anywhere else.

Terribly understaffed. The only Supercuts Ive ever been to that required an appointment to get in. Three hour wait for a Sunday walk in.If theres a three hour wait theyre really missing an income opportunity.

Came in for a same-day appointment. Staff is professional, courteous, and just generally pleasant to be around. Relaxed local vibe and a decent military haircut.

Ive been here multiple times. if I have an appointment they normally take 30 minutes more before calling me. when I walk in they never have openings. today I talked with a friend outside of the salon for about 10 minutes watching inside. there was 2 employees one customer and Noone waiting. I went in for a walk in. I was told there was no openings for the rest of the day.I waited for my wife outside of the salon for 20 minutes. I noticed the employees just talking with each other with nothing to do.they are not good stylist, they are lazy and horrible customer service.

The lady who cut my hair didn’t speak a word to me until the last 10 minutes and kept spraying me in the face. The rest of the time she was talking to the other hair stylist. She left my hair soaking wet so I didn’t see until I got home how uneven the cut was. I have to get my friend to fix it for me because it was so uneven. Honestly, don’t come here unless you want to look like the villain from Shrek.

Not easy to get an appointment. Even with an appointment, wait can be 30 minutes or more.

My wife went there to get a cut with her mastercard gift card. The business automatically added an additional 20 percent of the total charge just for doing business with them using the gift card. Not going there again

Supercuts in Hawaii is already more expensive than on the mainland at about $24 for a basic haircut after tax, Paying a *little* more is expected in this state but the mainland price is about $16. That’s a huge premium! Factoring the already exorbitant prices they have now added a mandatory $4 “sanitation surcharge fee“ for spraying down your seat with a disinfectant and giving it a quick wipe down. So now you’re charged $28 for a simple men’s haircut and are still expected to tip on top of that! They do a reasonably good haircut but are charging what I have payed at high end barber shops on the mainland. This is not a high end barber/salon, everyone knows that. I tipped today but I have a budget for a haircut and with the added sanitation fee I will not be tipping in future until it is removed.

Online appointment system works efficiently. No waiting. Professional, polite, competent, friendly, attentive stylists.

So if you make an appointment expect to wait an extra 25 mon as i made an appointment for 9am and wasnt seated till 9:25 because of cleaning that was said to take 10 min but order a pizza and wait for a haircut see which show up faster

Not everyone working there can do a descent job , a young fella did me , rush it 7mins ask me how it looks , but hair was still long on top , thought I was gonna to say it was good , I told him I like to cut the top did it in 3 mins , I left unsatisfied. And for $24.07 per month nine k me , geez Im in the wrong bus..

Very upset grandson checked in online got there 15 minutes early, he had to wait 2.5 hours! At one point one stylist told another customer to never mind the boys ( 2 male stylist) they are doing their own thing. I ran to a store and back and another 2 male stylists where smoking out back. Got back in and saw all the same customers still waiting, not happy! Sure everyone needs a break but go one at a time. Was odd usually a good place.

OMFG! The only thing that would make this place better is if they served mimosas and umbrella drinks. Seriously, I know corporate places like this focus on quick turn around, but often forget the quality of the cut, but NOT this place. They are so friendly and I am so happy with the cut that Im here writing this.

Why do you even bother to have an appointment system if they are going to make you wait more than a GD hour. I got faster haircuts without an appointment. I had other things scheduled after it. Literally SCREWED my whole day.

Honestly idk where to begin. My sister had scheduled a appointment a week in advance for a wedding group of 8 girls. She was given a date and the time and was asked to call a day ahead to confirm. On Friday, sis called to confirm. Saturday, the girls get to Supercuts (by Walmart) 20 minutes prior to the appointment. I get to the receptionist to check in only to find out we were not on the schedule. We sat and waited while they figure out what to do. Three other customers came in afterwards and they got called within 15-20 minutes. Still, we waited. Three of the bridesmaids eventually changed their minds and left. I waited over an hour before I got called. I showed a picture of the up-do that I wanted which wasnt anything like I had hope for. I eventually told the hairdresser how much I disliked it and eventually settled for a different, more basic style. The last girl that did her hair ended up missing her make up appointment. While at supercut we could hear the workers bicker amongst one another. When my sis approached them and ask if there was a problem. The receptionist said they were short handed. There was only 1 worker that could do up-dos. This one worker did the best she could with the amount of girls she had to work on. Keep in mind the original number of girls decreased from 8 to 5. I was really frustrated and disappointed. No love from me. Supercuts did not meet my expectations, considering the cost. Junk!

Today May 22, 2018. I went in for a simple layered haircut. The guy Baba told me there was 2 in front of me and a wait of 20 min. Ask me my name and I sat down and waited 1 hour. While waiting I seen 3 other people walk in that they took in before me. After seeing that I decided to walk out with no questions asked, I dont even think the guy put my name in. So sad!!! I will never go back there ever again!!! Such bad bad bad service there!!!! Sorry to say but you guys need to step up your game and be more professional about your job.

0 stars!!!! Very, Very bad, bad customer service. Checked in online- it said 1:45pm. I walk in at 1:15pm they told me it would be an hour. There were only 3 people waiting. They told me I can go shopping and come back. I did. Came back at 2pm figured those people would be done. They told me well you have 5 people now in front of you. It will be another hour. FORGET IT! You will make me wait 2 hours??? DONT GO THERE! And the last time I went there- the lady was new, didn’t know how to do an a-line bob cut. She screwed it up and another lady had to fix it. So it actually ended up shorter than I wanted.

Left after waiting for 2 and a half hours. 3 stylist, 2 were doing colors. Didnt even try to squeeze in a haircut while color was processing.

Objectively, this place commits to appointments, still makes customers wait obscene amounts of time such as over 45 minutes, and then takes another person who came in after me for the same stylist. I could not possibly recommend lower of this business. I spoke with the manager, Audrey, who was less than useful, offering nothing more than an apology along with droning worthless explanation of how the stylist somehow got delayed, to which I recommended training their scheduler to me more realistic with appointments --- energy on my part wasted. This isnt the first time this has happened. I would urge anyone who cares about their time and and sense of customer services to go elsewhere. This is the least customer conscious place of business Ive experienced in Hilo on a consistent basis and theyve just lost me as a customer. Heads up to you all, and otherwise good luck. There must be much better other places for hair cuts and customer service. Fast food customer service is better than this place.

Been here twice. The first time was an OK experience, and my hair was acceptable but definitely not great. Just got done with my second cut, with a different stylist. I asked her to remove an inch, and she just went to town and started cutting off over 2 inches, which is a lot for a mens haircut. She did not listen to my request at all, and just started cutting. She said shes worked there for eight years, but has clearly never learned to listen to her customers. Also, she had an attitude like she didnt care what shes doing. Horrible experience! Never going back…

Its a good salon to get a simple haircut, but if u want to change your hairstyle, I would definitely recommend the supercuts in Hilo by Walmart, they can do so much more, but overall this supercuts is ok

We would give no stars if that was an option. We called ahead we were told 40 minuets showed up for our appointment with a very unfriendly welcome we wait 40 more minuets before leaving.

Bad service, expect to wait and to be lied to about the wait. Multiple visits, all ended up walking out because of misleading times. Appointments not accepted,, dont let them lie to you. You will regret ever going there. Possibly the worst Supercuts in America.

A 20 minute wait turned into 45 minutes. The cut was OK. but I couldnt pay with a credit card even though 3 people tried to process it. One stylist said sternly that she knows how to process credit cards. After watching her try in vain for several minutes I dont believe her. Wont be back.

Went in to get a trim and the customer service was nonexistant. I was not at all acknowledged as a customer or person and while waiting to speak with the desk manager was overlooked to take the name of a friend behinde me.

Checked in online and in the front. Receptionist at the time ignored my name and took somone who walked in after me. When asked why that is she said oh I didnt check you in. If I did it wouldve been done right no accountability for mistakes, blames customers for errors. Would give 0 stars.
