Customer Service is not a priority.Worked with them for many many parties and they were always amazing. Denied recent quote just because I wasnt planning on spending enough money with them. seems pretty crazy to turn down business from a longtime customer, but I will look elsewhere from now on.

These guys were great, they had the rental I needed and all the attachments required to complete the job in literally less than half an hour. I had some flooding problems at the house and I had a professional plumber come to the house twice. The first time they showed up with inadequate equipment and the second time they showed up with a broken piece of equipment. I went to Taylor and rented a 5/8 inch by 100 foot electric snake and literally spent more time with the Rental process and the return process then it took me to clear the clog! I would recommend them highly they are extremely Pleasant and very helpful and knowledgeable.

I have rented from Taylor for 30 years, equipment is always kept in good shape, and are available when I need one.

Terrible service...overcharged me and did not provide the equipment/parts as promised. - As a follow-up to my previous review, I want to thank the folks at Taylor Rental (both Hillsdale and Ridgewood). These guys more than made up for the problem that I previously had. They were very fair and easy to work with. Problems will happen, but its how you handle them that sets you apart. I would definitely use them again and highly recommend them.

I have rented the Barreto trenching machine from the Taylor Rental in Ridgewood in the past. I had issues with it but my foreman toughed it out and we got the job done. This time, renting from this Taylor Rental in Hillsdale I rented the same brand Barreto trenching machine and had the same problems and more. The machine is extremely extremely difficult to maneuver and the digging boom got stuck every two feet. It took a lot of muscling and effort just to get this piece of crap to the backyard. Didnt even start to dig with it and it was a pain in the butt. I tried everything Brian showed me how to do, and have used trenching machines many many times in the past (Im an irrigation contractor), but it didnt make anything easier. DO NOT RENT THIS MACHINE. It is awful.After asking Brian for a refund, because I used the machine for all of 10 min before loading it back on the trailer, I was told Youre not getting a refund. I asked Brian if anyone has ever had problems with this machine and he avoided answering. Since Brian failed to answer my question it leads me to believe that many people have complained about this machine and they continue to rent it. I would STAY AWAY FROM TAYLOR RENTAL if this is how they do business.
