HA. The SECOND time i’m leaving this review because I don’t think my first one even posted! Now that i’ve disconnected from the wifi, let’s try this review again. I am so beyond frustrated with ACS. The internet is constantly dropping or slow. I have to use my phones hotspot half the time. I pay OVER $100 A MONTH FOR THIS?? I’m so done. I’m calling for a third time tomorrow and cancelling. Oh yeah, I’ve called 3 times for help and gotten no where. ACS is the only company that will service my address. But you know what, i’d rather have no internet.

Actually slower than dial-up most nights. Hands down the internet service we’ve ever dealt with. Speeds are almost never over 4 mbps, and our house is right in the middle of town. Speeds often hover around 0.2 mbps. We’ve called them and they say that those speeds are normal. They say their goal is 4 mbps. They told us that if it’s slower than 4, it’s because a lot of people are on the internet, and that’s not their fault.I’d suggest using another provider or even using your cell phone for a hotspot instead. My cell is more than 10 times faster than Alaska Communications DSL, even on their best day. I’m a doctor, and it generally takes me more than ten minutes to open a single patient chart from home. Typing on a Citrix server generally results in a 5-10 second delay before the letters appear on the screen.
