Better off if you canceled service. Make sure you record everything you say on the phone to them though because they wont remove your service. Then send you a notice 3 months later. Run away as fast as you can.

This company needs to change their attitude towards customer and the service they provide. After having been a customer for about 15 years, I moved my business elsewhere both for my home and small business. They kept increasing prices for loyal customers almost 3 times around a year span ! They wont even send a separate latter about price increase. Just a line mentioned in one of their monthly bills. Seriously ! How many people read monthly bills especially if it is an ebill and auto draft, they wont notice the marginal price increase which they did over a period. They need to be regulated like power companies to ensure some sort of protection for average consumers and hope 5G competition picks up and these kind of companies greed to fleece consumers will get stopped.

Got quote for one price, with a cable box and modem. Hook it up and it does not work. Have too pay an additional 7 dollars a month to use the cable box we were given to watch cable after speaking with 800 number. How do I get one monthly price and then to actually use the cable box given I then have to pay MORE MONEY???

I needed to give a cable box back to Spectrum, trying to reduce my bill. I was told to take it to a UPS store . I called back to confirm my return and was told by someone else I needed to take it to the Spectrum store but they werent sure the store would take the return??????? I than asked if I could call the store!!!!! I cant believe you do not offer a local phone number for local stores. Now tomorrow I will have to drive 15 miles, see if the store will take the return so I catch the proper billing cycle to save me $9.00. Spectrum operates with an Iron fits, no give anywhere. I hope I live a to see the day Spectrum has competition. I have have spoken to many reps over the past few years and they are always pleasant. The company needs to become a bit more customer friendly.

Lets get real. Im getting 430 mbs in my living room on internet. This is the starter package. I have a building behind my house. We get 70 sometimes out there. Overall the prices are good. Most packages advertise starting at 25 to 40 mbs. What can you do with that. The on demand is unparalleled. Phone service is very affordable. Now heres my problem. When I had Or they were Time Warner. I could sign up for any package that was available. New , old customer it didnt matter. And they would always throw in a bonus as well. Those days are long gone. And your bill will keep going up and up. They gave me a new receiver. It was supposed to be the latest and the greatest. I went to two stores. Called and went online and they sent me a older box. I could not stand it. I subscribe to hulu and peacock. But they will never replace good Ol fashioned cable. Overall Im a pretty happy camper.Mikey Out. Oooohhhh Yeah!!!!!!

These people need to get with the times!!! Customer service hasnt changed since they were TWC. The only thing they can offer in my area is 15MBs of speed. I know for a fact my coworker lives a mile away from me, a literal mile, and they have North State. Another coworker of mine is also in the same area has SPECTRUM and he has a good plan. They charge me $75.XX for 15 MBs when I was paying $85 for a GIG in no where Thomasville NC. That is absolutely insane and they should be called out for it.

UPDATE: Its 1/2 and I am still struggling with Spectrum to cancel my account. I started in August. Beware - this company has archaic methods of doing business and refuses to cancel service on the 1st/2nd/8th attempt - even after you return the equipment. Zero stars!Im currently on hold with your retention team to cancel my service. I called on 9/27 to cancel and returned my equipment to the UPS Store on 9/28. Your rep is telling me that she cant cancel my service - that a back office must do it. All I want is a cancellation and partial cycle refund. Why is this so hard? She is only worried about where the UPS Store sent my modem after I returned it. I have a receipt and proof I turned it in. Why cant I get a cancellation???

Lived here a year I’ve never dealt with consistent on and off internet and cable issues.Spectrum In my neighborhood has to be original to the early 2000s. Jamestown areaI’ll continue to call and get my credit for all these days I missed. But many people work from home and or really need access.

I stopped by the local agency to pay my bill; timing is everything so my rating is based on this one visit....one lady manning the whole office/taking care of customers...she was very cordial and helpful but it was too much for one person to handle. Based on my monthly charges, I think Spectrum could spring for a couple more customer services reps!!

Normally, I equate any visit to a Spectrum 🧱 brick and mortar location to a DMV visit. I was pleased that the staff at this location were friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and were able to answer all my questions satisfactorily.COVID-19 Info:• Theyre limiting capacity to 3 customers in the building at a time.• Markings on the sidewalk for social distancing while waiting outside for your turn to go into the building.• Masks are required.• Sanitizing stations inside with foot pedals to dispense the sanitizer.

I went to spectrum to return a DVR everyone was very nice and professional I was in and out in no time at all. I hope since I dont have the bundle any more I hope my ultra internet connection continue to work just as good without the bundle. I have had very good service with them would recommend.

The spectrum location in High Point has very friendly employees the servicemen that come to your door to repair or install your equipment are very friendly. The only downfall they have would be there customer service with the one 800 number. It’s truly a nightmare and a pounding headache and most of the time you get nothing accomplished But high blood pressure

I have been on the line with them over an hour and STILL am. We close on a house on the 24th and are trying to set up new service. Since another account is still active there, they will not honor the new customer discount. No one knows what they are doing, I have been transferred three times, I cant be the first person closing on a home that needs internet service??? Nightmare.

Since the takeover by Spectrum, the quality of customer service and tech support has declined noticeably. Our business experienced an outage due to maintenance which was scheduled DURING BUSINESS HOURS. We received no notification f the maintenance, and were told there was no way we could be notified. Other businesses do it.Additionally, Spectrum changed our account number, wouldnt provide the new one over the phone, and told me it was my fault for not having the correct account number when I called in. I miss the quality customer service from Time Warner.

The folks at this location are pretty much on point. They were able to get me in and out within 5 minutes. No complaints. Just remember that they have nothing to do with the quality of your service. They strictly distribute/collect equipment and act as a pay center.

Spectrum sucks they dont give any deals if you were already a TWC subscriber...then my bill increased by 30 bucks! With no new package deal. I recommend North State. Same perks a lot cheaper. Great customer service/support.

There are old Time Warner lines from my house to the telephone pole from 12 yrs ago (before we bought the house). They are droopy and I called Spectrum 800# to get someone out here to tighten or remove the lines (since I have Northstate) so they dont hang down low over my driveway. The Spectrum customer service people told me I had to call the local Spectrum store === good luck finding a local phone number!!! Why would this listing have the local address but not the local phone number? Duh!

Wish I could give zero stars. THE WORST! First of all, the people at this location are very defensive! Its like them against the customers. I walked out of there more than once after having to argue with them. They all team up. And as for Spectrum itself; its a nightmare! Their cable malfunctions on a weekly basis and I have to call & stay on the phone with them for usually an hour each week! Then, when you ask to be reimbursed for the days w/o service, they give you a few dollars. They now raised the bill by $30.00 and I told them I would cancel, but they said they no longer pro-rate the bill by the day you cancel. So I have to keep it for another 3 weeks at the $145.00. I cannot find another provider in my area so Im getting rid of the cable tv altogether & just keeping the internet (which is also very high) $75.00 just for internet? If you can get any other provider, take them. Spectrum is the worst!

The customer service person seemed inpatient. I was not familiar with returning equipment, and I felt rushed. I gave the customer service preson our cable box and she didnt ask any questions. When we got home, we realized that she disconnected the wrong box. I was not pleased with our service.

Updated 5/4/20 I went in office and received Poor customer service. They need new staff pronto. I approached counter she told me to step back loudly & cut me off when I begin to talk. Then her buddy next to her gawking & interrupting us. She is the one every time I come is complicated and never be helpful. The two blacks women working at 4:50 pm were nothing but slow & don’t know how to talk nice.(professional)

I cannot stand the entire company. I never have anything but trouble from them. Why do I continue service with them you ask? Because my apartment complex has a bulk account for cable and internet with them and it ties into the rent. I will never again rent from anywhere with ties to Spectrum. With my specific issue, I received one answer on the telephone but was switched to another department where I received a much different answer. This led me to having to make an in-person visit. Talk about rude service. They swore my problems were fixed and behold... Still not fixed. Never again.

Time Warners favorite ruse is to transfer you around to various people and put you through multiple repetitions of your name, phone number, pulling up you account then asking you to explain yet again why you are calling before getting to someone who ultimately will still not help you. I went through this four times with me finally deciding to cancel my service. I have been a loyal customer for 30+ years and have always paid my bill, in full and on time.

They let anybody make changes to your account, add trials, add channels without verifying who is the account holder, than when you call to cancel they decide to get all technical and ask for account numbers, name on account , phone number , SSN . Im sure abyboda can charge up your account and they would have no problem charging a couple hundred $$$ but if you were to dispute it , they wipe their hands and say its not their problem . F CK you spectrum!!

No customer loyalty. Have had service with TWC for too many years to remember, paid our bill PRIOR to EVERY due date. When our plan expired, our bill went up a whopping 40 dollars per month. (MULTIPLY that by 12 months and that is almost an extra $500 from our RETIRED persons pockets into TWC) No help from either visiting the store or from phone to customer service depth. My husband and I will definitely find another provider...in fact, checked with one this morning and already $30 savings per month!

I have seriously considered uploading my chats to the press and takimg legal action. You cant promise one thing and not have any notes or accountability. I thought they were really bad as time warner but Spectrum somehow made a bad company worse. Possibly the worst customer service ive ever experienced and just so unreasonably expensive. I also had a horrible incident after I moved where they did not turn my internet off as I requested. Received a bill for the month and I refused to pay so they turn me into a collection agency. I dont understand why I should pay for your mistake. Please go with northstate, at&t, or any other ISP if available. Because the stress of dealing with this company is just not worth it

Im so grateful that I finally switched to North State. While I appreciate the free internet for the past 4 months, due to NO INTERNET SERVICE the past 4 months..I would rather pay for service than have a bill credited because TWC cant seem to get my service to consistently work. I upgraded because I was told that would help. It didnt. So I switched to North State and couldnt be happier. The speed is so much faster and I have to admit...talking to a human (that I can understand) whenever I call is so much better than the automated hell that I experienced every time I called TWC....only to not be able to understand the person on the other end. Im so glad I switched!!

My comments are on Spectrum as a whole. I pay online so the storefront I wont know about. I read all the reviews in which most were negative so I called Spectrum the day they were to come. I was going to cancel and the operator told me about their 30 day money back guarantee if I was unhappy, so I let them install my bundle of internet, tv and home phone. I could not believe it, my internet is faster NOW with Spectrum. I had Northstates highest internet plan. My cable is working great and my firesticks for the other TVs are working great with the Internet service. I think Im gonna like it here.... yes, yes. Im set for 2 years and IF they go up too high, Ill switch but hopefully by then they might have a better loyalty package. I am very happy with the basic 125 package. I now have the news and hope my service continues working as good as it is today.
