Ive been coming here for a couple years now . I usually see Nini & I always get great service. They do a good job here for a decent price. I tend to get very long dramatic bedazzled nails and Nini does them very well for a decent price.

I used this salon for years and was usually pleased with their work, but I moved out of the area about a year ago and when I went back on a recent visit I was extremely disappointed.I paid for a hot stone pedicure but the technician didnt massage my legs at all (with or without the stones) and didnt even bother to turn on the massage chair. She didnt file my toenails after clipping them so the corners keep catching on my clothes as I get dressed, and she tried to use a drill on the surfaces of my natural nails! When it came to my fingers she insisted on using the drill even though I didnt have artificial nails - she wouldnt stop even when I asked - and she trashed my nails. The French tips are irregular and super thick and there is practically no polish on the main part of the nail. You can see the grooves left by the drill. They were also filed crooked. Ill be making an appointment with my salon at home to get this fixed as soon as I get back.The last time I was there I had a different technician and ended up with a toenail fungus. They may still have some good technicians, but it isnt worth the risk of getting a bad one. I will NEVER use this salon again.

Tried to make a appointment for 6 people and the lady on the phone was rude and unprofessional my wife and her family will never go here again

I showed up without an appointment on a Saturday morning to get my nails done. They worked me in and did a beautiful job. This is almost unheard of anywhere else. I will definitely be back

This used to be my go to place. Not sure if its the pandemic or what but I just called...horrible answering service and horrible attitude towards scheduling. If no available is available...then perhaps informing the caller on the next availability would help your business in making money. I have no idea whats going on. They used to be my favorite.

Ive been seeing my nail tech and friend Julie since Ive moved up here. I go where she goes. But this place a clean and friendly and Cindy has done a great job on my pedicures.

Used to LOVE this place. Was the only place i would go... got my brows waxed, came out BLEEDING and the lady was a straight nasty hag about it like she didnt want to do it from the beginning although i was an appointment. Never went back. If I could gove zero stars, i would.

This place has gone down hill. The owner is the only one I can recommend. All the other nail techs have bad attitudes and dont care if they hurt you repeatedly in the process. They made my nails crooked and poorly done. I used to go here all the time but after my last experience I try my best and avoid this place.

Love this place. They use the fully disposable liners and filters which most other places use the same filter. And the techs do a great job.

Nails Came out great would have gave 5 stars like I did before but these people never have appointments available Ive only been here one time since you have to call 2-3 months in advance so there is no point. who is going to know when they will need their nails done in two months on that exact date its ridiculous.. they give you your own filers which is great but dont let you know before charging it on your card and theyre expensive...should have first come first serve other wise you will never be seen

Okay so yes I was a walk in and requested blue nails which I goT however I asked for a simple design on one nail , just one . And their answer ..sorry we dont have time. Really ? Just one nail and they dont have time !! They did a piss poor job on my nails anyway. They didnt clean them up. The cuticles outta control I was so upset.

Don’t go here, Trang was horrible and she ruined my moms nail shape. She made them round instead of square and she was shown a visual image as well. Usually the policy is that they have to redo them but they didn’t even offer. The front desk lady Natalie was fairly nice. HORRIBLE.

Windy has a very gentle hand and I hardly felt any sanding on my fingers, like in other nail salons Ive been to. The finished work looked good under her light. However, I depend a lot on reviews but unfortunately I ignored the bad. First, I asked if my daughter could come and watch, she didnt even get offered a chair. After one week my nails yellowed, have a rough edge, too thick (they hurt my skin if I scratch) are sanded to much on side acrylic, and they dont have a natural curb to them they look like their pointing up. A good business is not selective as to who gets great service, it should be great all across the board.

Love it here complimentary drinks like coffee,tea, water, soda not sure what else but i havent been able to come with an appointment and yet they are the friendliest every time! im so pleased with my nails and I did notice the very clean restroom.Thank you!

Ive been coming here for about a year now. I am never disappointed. Whether I have an appointment it not, they get me in and they do a beautiful job! I always get the Deluxe Pedicure, next time Im going to have a set of Acrylic Nails out on as well. I love this place! I dont know why people have had bad experiences here, just a bad day I guess. I have had only good experiences.

Way too pricey for a plain basic set. Didn’t even shape my nails the way I wanted. I got plain black nails, no jewels, no designs. My daughter’s small nails painted pink. Wasn’t even offered the “complimentary drink” they advertised, just handed a $76 bill. Not worth it.

I was there for an underarm wax and was PAIN FREE and NO MARKS beautiful wax.Even though I had to wait about 30 minutes without appointment but was worth it, other unprofessional places have left me with red marks, bruises and dark skin on my underarms. This place its worth the waiting.

Staff awesome!!!! Not a long wait whether you have an appointment or not. Facility and bathrooms are always kept clean, chairs and stations are always kept clean. Front receptionist always takes care of you in a timely manner offers you water and snacks I have been going there for 5 years and never had a problem with staff or any other reasons for that matter I highly recommend star nails

Went and got my nails filled there yesterday and I told the lady that one of my nails was cracked if she could just replace it. She ignored me and just put super glue on it and then today it cracked in the same place, I called and they said that I would still have to pay for it when I just spent a lot of money to get them filled. Not very happy!

I have lived in the area for two years and have yet to find a better place! It is super clean and everyone is really nice!! I really like that each person gets their own box with their own files and scrubber too. I wont go anywhere else now after being so spoiled here!!

The most hygienic nail place in the HD! They give you your own nail files to keep and being with you every time you come back. They also use plastic inserts in the pedicure bowls. My favorite pedicurist was Tommy. Hes no longer there and Ive since tried several different techs there but havent been impressed. He was just that good and irreplaceable to me. Nevertheless, still like them and I highly recommended appts as they are really busy all the time!

I had a great experience at starnails and will be going back. The receptionist was very polite and linked me with Mary without having an appointment. I ordered the Delux pedicure; Mary hooked me up, and did an amazing job.

My favorite nail salon in the high desert. My last visit (three weeks ago)I got full gel set plus some rhinestones it came out to $47. I just came back from getting a gel fill and one nail replaced and it came out to $34. Its a lil expensive for a fill and a one nail replacement but I love their work. I recommend Tang or julie.

Ive been coming here for a few years but became unhappy with my nails because of the shape, so i started going somewhere else for my hands. I continued to come for pedicures and i always felt rushed, most of the time I never recieved a massage. Not a friendly environment, never greeted even though I went there for years and they new me.

The shop is very nice, modern, clean and the employees are very hospitable.

I came here to treat my mom for mothers day. They were completely booked and was able to squeeze US BOTH in for a mani and pedi!😊 They were so accommodating. The MANAGER did my Mani and did an AMAZING JOB I left feeling like a new woman wants my nails were gorgeous!! They squeezed my mom in and made her mothers day weekend especially cause we came the day before and werent able to get in due to being so booked.💜😊 And my pedi was sooo relaxing and worth the money! This is definitely my new nail spot! Thank you star nails for making sure not only my mom left happy but myself as well! This was was a pleasant experience and I will be back! 😊

Best place in the High Desert to get your nails done

My daughter and I went there for my birthday for mani-pedis and our experience was pretty bad.1. The technicians who were giving us pedicures were talking about us in their language, looking at us, pointing and laughing.2.I ordered the deluxe pedicure, which included a complimentary glass of wine, however when I asked for it she just laughed and starting talking about us again and said wine and rolled her eyes.3. She turned on the massager which was awesome, but then said, you no need this and turned it off. I asked if I could have it on and she just ignored me.4. Basically, rude, they try to get you to buy more or get something they think you should have, I was overcharged, she made my nails bleed and then tried to blame it on me. My manicure was done on a towel after my pedicure, and had bits of lint in them. I tipped her 10%, which was more than they deserved, especially since they wouldnt fix the overcharge and she was outraged.5. Overall, not a nice experience as I was hoping for my daughter and I. Do not recommend them if you want a pleasant experience.

I sat and waited 15 mins to get in, that was fine since it was a walk in..They called me back to the chair and I sat there for another 10 mins waiting for someone to come. Vi-Q?Finally a gal saw me waiting still and had to go back and yell at him to get him to come up front. He came up and seemed like he didnt want to be there the entire time. Rushed through the process.I showed him a photo of what I wanted and he brushed it off. The polish had bubbles, patchy spots and so thick! -.- worst nail experience ever!
