The shop is closed now. These guys were good and fair. I have not had good luck finding a good mechanic yet

I found Dawsons Auto Services through a Google search. They had great reviews. Ive been looking for a great mechanic for some time now since my last guy retired. I made a suggestion that my universal joint might be bad and after some description of what I was feeling Mr. Dawson said that could be a possibility. He said he could look at it later that day and suggested I leave my truck if I could. I did. He called me later that day with the finding that prior work form another local shop where I had taken it, and returned it, had put the wrong size bearing in and that was the problem. Having taken it back to them already, I asked if he could take care of it. He said yes and suggested that he could fix my steering column which I thought was irreparable and would need to be replaced. The cost of the repairs was very fair. I feel like I have a new truck, and its nowhere near new! On top of it I had some great conversation and I definitely have a new great and HONEST mechanic! Blessings!!

Well - its a bit of an adventure to find this place but well worth the excursion. Dawsons is tucked behind a strip mall in what appears to be an industrial storage space. Go behind the bright yellow tire place. Address is in Markham though one directory online says Hazel Crest. ANYWAY - Tim did a great job on my car. He did quality work quickly and for less than two other places quoted me. Very rare to get all three elbows of the design excellence triangle! Thanks to the other reviewers whose truthful recommendations led me to this mythical being; an honest car repairman!

The first time I tried to go here he couldnt keep my appointment do to things out of his control. But because he had such good reviews I had to give him a second chance and check him out and I am so glad I did. His prices are so reasonable and he always take the time to give me a second opinion when Peps Boys tryes to get over on me. He definitely has a new customer in me for life😊

I called about a quote I received from another shop where I was told that I needed $900.00+ of brake work. Mr. Dawson inspected my car and then gave me a quote for $400.00 less and my brake work great! Hes very friendly and very thorough on the quality of work done. Their prices are more than reasonable and the turn around time is very fast. I will definitely be back.

He is the best mechanic Ive ever had. I now go to him for anything I need. He is fast and efficient. And his prices are good. Not too expensive. I wont be going anywhere else any time soon.

I would give more than 5 stars if I could. I failed the emissions test and didnt know where to go. I googled emission repair and out of all the businesses that popped up, Dawsons is where I decided to go. I called and was told to bring my vehicle in the next day. It was repaired while I waited for an extremely fair and reasonable price. I just took the test again - and passed. But more important than passing the emission test, is that I have finally found someone who I can refer to as my mechanic. Someone who I know is an expert in his field, who is fair and honest. I will recommend Dawsons to all my family and friends.

Wonderful service! They even waited for my truck to get towed to their shop after hours. Very friendly, knowledgeable, and reasonable! Couldnt have ask for a better experience.

My husband and I are traveling to NC and we broke down on the freeway. We wasnt sure of our location but the employee was patient and understanding of our situation. In one hour we where towed, our car was fixed and we were back on the road. They are very affordable as well and he even fixed our windshield wipers free of charge. We really appreciate and recommend their services.

This shop is amazing. From my motorcycle , high top van, and several old schools. Dawson has met and exceeded the expectations of fixing it correctly the first time. I continue to give this shop my buisness and would highly recommend others do the same for your mechanic needs.

Love this shop. I have had several repairs done with the same results. Honest fast results at a great price. The last job done by Dawsons was a transmission in my Chrysler 300. Dawson had my car ready in 24 hours and back on the road.
