All the toys you could possibly need. Friendly and attentive staff. Owner and management actually care about being the best gym in the area. Great place! The worst part of this gym is actually some of the members. Unfortunately, reading and etiquette are lost on many. But, I still recommend this place wholeheartedly. Get to work!

One of the best gyms out there. One of the only ones to stay open during most of the pandemic and one that listens to its customers. Since joining this gym almost two years ago this gym has added quite a bit of equipment and continues to expand. Although it has a fairly hefty price compared to mainstream gyms, the amenities and community more than make up for it. Sign up with my George if you’re looking to join, he’s very friendly and knowledgeable.

Love this gym, open 24 hours. New great working out equipment. Outside working area, excellent staff. They keep the machines clean and have cleaning sanitation for the people. Only neg would be the parking during workout traffic hour, they are currently working on a parking structure. Also recommend building more bathrooms, due to everyone taking protein shakes, energy and pre-workout drinks, coffee or just gotta go 8)). Overall good!

The best gym ever! It’s always clean, friendly staffs, outside gym, always adding something new, women only gym inside women bathroom, juice bar, and opened 24 hours! I broke my ankle from hiking last summer and needed to get back on track with proper equipments. It was the only local gym that was opened during pandemic. It really helped me mentally and physically especially during this global health crisis going on. It’s a bit pricey but it’s worth it. I’m never going back to LA fitness or 24 hours unless I’m traveling.

I love this gym. Been a member for over 3 years. Theres always space for you to workout even if a machine is being used you will always find another machine available. They also have new equipment that you wont find at other gyms. This place is huge too. They have an amazing staff along with a hard working cleaning crew. Make sure to bring a towel along with wearing a mask around the staff.I like that they always have wipes and sprays to clean down your machine. I also love the private women gym for the ladies who get shy around the big boys. Lol. I appreciate the owner for staying open for us members who believe in health and our respiratory system. The people with negative comments should JUST STAY HOME. You people are the problem with this country. We got your back Coast Fitness. Stay Strong!!!

This gym betrayed its members. Before covid there was definitely a community of people who patronized this gym. I respect that the ownership decided to stay open during the pandemic but they opened the floodgates for all the workout enthusiasts for all of Los Angeles county. The wait times to even touch a machine became ridiculous and that 1.5hr workout that I was used to became impossible. The parking lot is constantly packed and it was just a major inconvenience. Other gyms are opening back up today and I will be looking to spend my money elsewhere. I just hope all the new members stay loyal to coast fitness and don’t go back to their previous gyms so coast fitness can remain the busiest gym on the face of the planet. Good luck.

This gym is very upsetting, to begin with the membership your grantee all these equipment availability for the price your willing to pay. Then you get there nd is the opposite some are not working, occupied or closed. To top it off they throw you all these curve balls with unnecessary fees. Dont even get me started with the staff, they are unaware of the gym protocols and all ober the place . The girls at front desk dont help just gossip loud.

Clean environment, tons of equipments and great atmosphere to workout. Employees are great! From Alex, Ashley, London, Jordan, Jorge, Deamorie, Mayra to all of them, yet to find one employee that isnt happy to be there.

I love this gym! Spacious and positive vibes all around. Im happy that they are supporting their employees along with their families by keeping them employed. The people who are complaining about masks are obviously uneducated and havent done their research.

Coast fitness is AMAZING. It is huge , have every machine you need and more! Very clean and friendly staff! They do an amazing job keeping everything clean and giving us a lot of cleaning options to clean up after ourselves. I just started my membership here and i already know i am going to be a member for life ! Very happy here at coast fitness !

The comfort that you use to offer you no longer have it. Because you have focused mainly on selling memberships instead of comfort for your members, it has become extremely uncomfortable. Your gym is extremely packed which means machines are not available and therefore Im unable to enjoy myself at your gym like before. Just know that eventually all gyms will open up again and a lot of your new members will go back to their gyms. Focus on your loyal members that you had before the pandemic.

Horrible guest experience. I was invited by a friend thats a member, not as if I wandered in off the street and the staff is trying to pressure sell you before they will even allow you to workout! Ive been on both sides of the fitness industry for years and Never have I been told to join or leave! Happy I have memberships at other more respectable establishment!HARD PASS!

Coast Fitness does not enforce or require patrons to wear masks or socially distance. I loved the idea that I could workout indoor or outdoor during these times but I couldnt stomach the lack of safety protocols or CDC guidelines.They do enforce that everyone show proof of having a towel though. 🤔🤔

I appreciate having an open gym during Covid, but this place goes too far. I guess the Chevy Camaro and Dodge Challenger driving crowd in there, mostly a bunch of dudes and girls with tribal tattoos, completely on steroids, do not mind not wearing a mask. The people in there are so cliché they are almost a parody of themselves.

Ive been a member for over 5 years. Ive never had any complaints. I really appreciate the staff and but most importantly the owners for their bravery to stay open, so we, the members, can continue to stay strong & healthy. Its really unfair that small businesses like this gym is hurting because of this tyrannical govt. Know that we have your back if you need us to go to court and protest for you guys.

Called to ask if they accept a certain insurance program because I am aware that they have altered their membership structure to take advantage of the lack of supply. They say yes, of course. So, I drive 30 minutes, spend 20 minutes signing up and waiting for other people to signup. The sales guy finally sits down with me and during the course of our discussion says that they charge a $89.99 facility fee to insurance program members, due immediately. While this is not in line with the typical terms of these memberships, as the base memberships through the insurance program should not cost extra, I would have been more understanding if I was informed of this questionable charge when I called. Instead, I wasted an hour and a half.

Open 24 hour which I love. They have boxing, Mma equipment and a lot more machines and equipment than equinox gym. So far Im loving it. I go in the morning when its not that busy.

Great gym, good equipment, nice atmosphere, and the machines are constantly being wiped down which is nice.

How is this place still open? Lots of folks who obviously are not concerned with Covid. Just seeing people in the parking lot you can tell the clientele are avid workout enthusiasts but right now it seems pretty self centered.

My Company did over $4000,00 worth of work for this business. We were very polite when calling Jerry (the owner) for money. His account is over 60 days late. when he answered his phone and we asked for payment his response was Im too busy to pay you or even talk about paying you because Im opening a new business in Kentucky so we were forced to discontinue service. Today I called to settle up what he owed us and his response was there is nothing to talk about, you discontinued our service is this guy really that dumb? I just think anyone considering joining this gym should be very careful with the lack of integrity and honesty displayed by the owner Jerry.

Love love love this gym. I actually feel motivated to go because it has this awesome outdoor grassy area with tons of equipment. There is a mini gym in womens bathroom if you dont feel like working out in the public. All of the equipment is new and so many great machines you wont find at other gyms! There are sanitizer wipes in every corner and everyone I see is really good about cleaning up after themselves, staff is constantly walking around cleaning and putting equipment back in its place. It does get busy but I never find myself waiting to use any machines. Its pretty massive and I cant say enough good things about this place. Super happy I found it !

During a time of record breaking unemployment, homelessness, Coast Fitness has chosen to unlawfully shake down their former members. According to California Civil Code Section 1812.85(c), Coast Fitness was not allowed to charge members during shutdown but continued to do so.Coast Fitness/ABC financial, have denied members with health conditions from cancelling their memberships according to section 21 of the agreement I signed with Coast Fitness. A member has a right to cancel and coast went as far as describing what a disability means, A condition that precludes you from using the facilities. Both my doctor, CDC and county health officials are in agreement that using a gym can spread covid-19 infections. I even handed the owners of Coast Fitness a letter from my doctor as instructed on section 21. Coast Fitness/ABC financial is breaking their own agreement.Coast Fitness does not require facemask to be worn indoors at your gym, that is a fact. According to state guidelines all working-out must be done OUTDOORS.Coast Fitness does not enforce social distancing whatsoever. You can easily see gym goers using almost every machine without any safe distance between them. No machines have been moved to adjust for the safe distance needed.Coast Fitness does not enforce cleaning up after yourself. Gym goers leave gym equipment dirty or not putting equipment back, making it easier to spread Covid-19. ( I know this because Jerry literally asked me to come work for him to clean up after his patrons).They make it seem like they are going through this difficult time and need you to pay your share to keep them afloat, this is not true what-so-ever. Ive never seen this gym more packed than now. Every day I pass by it and the parking lot is full until the donut shop. And I hear they are charging ridiculous fees. While sending their members with health conditions and unemployment to collections. This is pure greed.Jerry told me to come work off my debt at his gym, picking up after mask-less gymgoers Even after showing him my doctors letter. Which is down right malicious on his part.Jerry, if you wanted to run your gym this way, fine! But why subject members that do not want to take the risk? We never agreed to it!You could have easily just closed the accounts of members that are going through a hard time or have health issues. We should not be forced to pay a service that can lead health issues or to financial ruin during these times. I think people would have even supported you with a small cancellation fee just to support your business but instead you want to turn our pockets inside out.Ill never understand the reasoning behind Coast Fitnesss collection practices. No other gym has tried to charge their members huge cancellation fees or forced them to pay during closures or be sent to collections.Collections is a big deal and can even affect a persons ability to rent a home, you could end up homeless!!! From getting a student load, a financial loan for economic help. So many different things, for an unjust charge. Im sure most members Coast Fitness did this to would have loved to return once Covid-19 is over but instead they went for some hail marry collections move. I think they believe they will get some loyalty from charging Gold/Equinox and 24hour fitness members hundreds a month. I will never support this business again and I will let every friend, family member know about their shady business practices.I urge all members that are having issues with Coast Fitness to make complaints to the following organizations:-Los Angeles County Health - Search fort complaint forms.-BBB, you can also reach them by going to the Attorney General website and search for complaints-Consumer Financial Protection Bureau-Local Hawthorne Officials. They are in a mayoral race, so maybe ask what regulations and repercussions will Coast be subject to for their actions.

Best Gym.. starting with Luis the director and his staff are friendly and helpful … Gym offers different classes all day long with professional trainers, like Brandy, Carmina, Melissa from Yoga and Taylor classes are fun & efficient, gym is always clean, the only thing that I wish for them to get new bikes for cycling class.. it is time for an update!! Other than that best place to work out!! come visit!!

Dana is wonderful. Her gym is super clean and has all the equipment you would ever need. She also is super wonderful with my 6 month old baby. She helps watch him so I can get back in shape. Workouts are great and I already feel better with this program. The baby being able to come is a huge plus. She has a play pen,toys and outdoor area for the kids to play while mom works out. Would recommend this to anyone looking to get back in shape.

Great place to call home for those who have a commitment to healthy lifestyles. Best value membership is a 1 year contract which keeps members accountable to themselves. The facility is clean and very spacious. At peak hours the gym manages to stays crowd free. Talk to the young man called B, very professional, always smiling, impressive amount of fitness knowledge, will give the best tour of the facility to make you truly see the value of the gym. Others seem overweight and shady.

I have nothing but great things to say about this fitness center. The equipment is state of the art and the customer service is amazing. The water massage bed will definitely come in handy after a workout on the interactive and virtual treadmill. I cant wait for the juice bar to come in for a rejuvenating snack after my workout, and the tanning center will come in handy during the winter months.

I walked into the gym yesterday and I was very pleased with what I saw. The staff was very welcoming and had a lot to be proud of when it came to the quality of their gym. They have all the amenities that you need plus luxuries that high price gyms also have, such as a full spa, water massage beds and tanning centers. Cant wait for my membership to start!

As a previous member of 24hr fitness in Manhattan Beach for the last 18 years I must say this gym is AMAZING !!! For years my old gym did little or nothing to improve the gym equipment and my complaints ( along with many others ) fell on deaf ears. They finally did a half a$% remodel and began raising the prices. You would ask to speak to the GM and the response you got was call customer service. Then when calling you would hold forever and get absolutely nowhere. They plain and simple DO NOT CARE !!! After being a member here for 2 weeks I have spoken to the owners on more than one occasion and THEY CARE !!! I used to rush thru my workout because 24hr was so depressing, now I am spending 2- 2 1/2 hours a day here and LOVING IT !!! Beautiful clean amenities, great classes, inside and outside facilities, massage beds, tanning what more can you ask for ??? Im THANKFUL FOR COAST FITNESS :)

The gym itself is amazing, and the amenities are great and it is always kept clean. Its now open 24 hours all week. Best feeling to walk out of the sauna feeling and looking like aged beef jerky.

Previous UFC gym member, it was alright to me. Coast Fitness is awesome! Its never too busy to go to the gym, always having machines available to use. This is by far the best gym I have stayed for a long time.

I love my gym before COVID 19. The best gym I have ever belonged too. During Covid Owner went and got hundreds of new members from all the gyms that had to close. Now, it is packed like the busiest day at Disneyland would be. It is now the worst gym to me because equipment is packed, it is dirty, no parking and no peace of mind.

Update:After trying other gyms nearby, LA Fitness, a few Crossfit boxes, and 24 hr... I decided to come back and give it a try. Glad I did. They were upfront with contract options, non-contract, and paid in full memberships (as well as any additional fees), the staff was extremely nice, and it’s almost never that busy (unlike LA and 24 hour fitness).TONS of equipment and bunch of toys for you to use (tires, outdoor area, turf, sleds, ropes, climbing rope, monkey bars, tanning, massage, etc.).If you’re in the Hawthorne area or any neighboring city, give them a try.Great facility. Tons of amenities. A large selection of classes. 24 hours through the week... yet I still have to give a one star...I texted one of the workers there about adding a family member. I was quoted a price. I accepted the price and walked in and signed my brother up.My brother is back in school and no longer needs the membership (only used it for 2 weeks). So I inquire to cancel. Little did I know I was locked into a 1 year contract.1. The person that gave me the price didnt tell me it was a 1 year contract.2. The person who signed us up (different person) didnt tell us it was a 1 year contract.I accept responsibility on my end for not reading the fine print, but when Ive dealt with these guys before (and Ive worked here and in the health industry) I assumed that giving customers a run through on the membership was standard practice ESPECIALLY WHEN SIGNING A ONE YEAR CONTRACT. Just seemed shady and money hungry at the end of the day.Paying the $99 cancellation fee and cancelling my membership today.

The gym is clean and spacious, with tons of various classes: cycling, boxing, yoga, zumba, etc. The classes Ive taken are great and challenging, as they should be, but are certainly designed for both beginners and more experienced participants. Ive left Malyndas treadmill classes feeling high on endorphins. The classes are included in the membership of the gym, which gives an incredible value for signing up.I go mostly in the afternoon or early evening. There is rarely a wait for free weights or machines. The cardio-room is equipped with stationary bikes, treadmills, elliptical machines and stairclimbers and, in my experience, they always are available. Sometimes equipment breaks down but Ive never noticed excessive repair periods.There is a massage room, and the changing area is roomy and well kept. I dont shower there, so cant comment on that. There are lockers in the changing room which can be secured with your personal lock.There is also a parking lot in the front with plentiful and safe parking while you work out. The staff is friendly or knowledgable. Most members are like me, in that theyre focused and are there to workout. Theres interaction but it doesnt distract, it isnt intrusive. Would highly recommend.

I have now been a member of Coast Fitness for about 8 months and I absolutely love it! The gym offers sooooo much, way more than those huge chain gyms for a fantastic membership price.It is located in Hawthorne, which isnt too far from me, a little drive there but totally worth it. Ill touch on all my favorites that I consistently use.- plenty of cardio machines (stairmaster, treadmill, etc.).- great weight area with lots of free weights, squatting racks, leg press, etc.- stretching area- sauna- stand up tanning booths- hydro massage beds- outdoor workout area with turf- crossfit area- sleds for pushing and pulling (great cardio)- hot yoga classes!- variety of fantastic classes with great instructors- boxing area with punching bags- kids daycare and kids fitness classesThere is so much more and they continue to improve and add more often. Best of all this place is clean! I dont remember a day that I dont see someone cleaning around or organizing weights. The staff is very friendly, although I must say Ive come across some that were likely having a bad day.Within the entrance of the gym there is the Core smoothie and juice bar. Very delicious and good stuff to have post workout.I highly recommend this gym even if it is a bit of driving distance. Completely worth it!

Best choice for your money in all of South Bay. Great for families and anyone who wants to vary their routine. All the amenities and classes one would need as well.
