My salesman Bill Knapp was outstanding. Like I had known him forever. He was very attentive and answered all my questions. When I came back to purchase the car he got me processed right away. When he had the car washed he found some dirty spots that werent just right and took care of it.While I was waiting for my turn in Finance he took me out to meet the Service Mgr and explained everything I needed to know when it was time for service.When I got in to finalize my contracts I met Mark Jaime who was also very nice. He went over all the paperwork with me. We talked about lifeand before you new it we were finished.My overall experience at South Bay Ford was excellent.I am sorry you only have 5 stars because I could go higher.

South Bay Lincoln is a very nice dealer. I really like the fact that they have a cafeteria. I just recently leased an Edge and I am extremely happy. The salesman, Jose Perez, was great and very professional. I loved that he is bilingual (Speaks Spanish fluently) and was able to communicate with my husband. I honestly loved the service at this dealership. They are very helpful and care about what you want. They don’t push cars onto you, they show you around and get you what you want. The salesman Matrin Gil, showed me and my husband the excellent customer service we hear about Ford. He listened and was able to help me find the perfect car. We also had help from his manager Joe, who was very welcoming and made us part of the Ford family. GO SOMEWHERE ELSEIf you are looking to test drive a vehicle and take it on the highway because that’s where you spend 90% of your time, do NOT come to South Bay Lincoln or Ford. They claim it is against their insurance policy to drive on the highway, but multiple times they said they could “make a special exception.” If it was truly against their insurance policy, they would not be making exceptions.Save yourself the hassle and go somewhere else.

We had a great experience at the dealership with our salesperson, Don Garner. He was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and spent quite a bit of time with us. The financing/paperwork process took quite a while, but we were pleased with the terms and with the used car we selected. My reason for the 4 stars is that we were told wed get 3 follow up phone calls from Don, to check in our satisfaction with the car. We got one call following up about a cracked speaker cover they offered us at the employee discounted price (over $400!!), and no other calls. We initiated a call after a few days to see if there was a second key available and were told wed have to pay for one with their locksmith (and no information about the cost). So bottom-line, great sales experience, but not so great on the follow up.

My girlfriend purchased a used SUV from this dealer that was originally from Texas (Flash Floods) were it was then registered in Michigan (Title cleared from salvaged) just before being sent to California to be sold (South Bay Ford Lincoln). She came over excited and to my surprised I noticed a little rust on the back windshield wiper. The car had 20k miles on it and I thought this was odd so I decided to investigate. I found there was evidence of this car being flooded under the carpet, undercarriage and the engine had signs of corrosion. I immediately had her go back to the dealer and show them and make an exchange. She went to the dealer and they convinced her that the rust was not a big deal. Two days had passed since she initially bought the car and she was outside the 48hour return time. She explained to me the situation and I grabbed my things and headed down to the dealer with her. I did a little investigating of the other cars currently on the lot, low and behold they all displayed signs of being flood cars. Some of which were worse than the one she was sold. I had a few good words with the owner son, the finance manager (family owned and operated). These people were adamant about not taking the car back. It took two more trips to the dealer, threats of litigation, speaking with a auto fraud investigator and county attorney general offices before they felt threatened enough. In the end my girlfriend began to weep and cry in the finance managers office, causing her to walk out crying until they saw how much she was emotionally damaged by the situation and decided to finally take the car back... this place should be shut down, do your self a favor and walk away!!!!BUYER BEWARE! BUYER BEWARE! BUYER BEWARE! BUYER BEWARE!

This dealership is fantastic. I leased my new Mustang while driving home on the 405. Ben, my salesperson was so together and knowledgeable. He was amazing. He went the extra mile for me by locating the exact car I wanted (2015 Mustangs are a rare breed these days, very, very few are in Southern Ca.) We made the deal over the phone and next day went to South Bay Ford to pu my new car. It was so easy and painless I couldnt believe it. Everyone at the dealership was spot on with no pressure put on me.A few days later, I met with Robin, the Ford My Sync specialist. She was terrific. Knew everything there was to know and was so patient explaining how to use it. Freddy Kerolos...the man. Doesnt come off all salesy. Very genuine in his opinion, every ford model isnt for everybody. Its a family dealership, not sure if that is suppose to mean anything but in general every interaction thus far was very accommodating even at 9pm that night when everyone is surely trying to get the hell outta there. Freddy was able to take some of the anxiousness out of the process, very quick and knowledgeable about his product and the process. When I upgrade to the Shelby ;-) Ill definitely be back to work with him.

I had a great experience leasing a Lincoln MKX from this dealership. Hans was my salesman and he was excellent at explaining the vehicle, looking at the options and taking the test drive. After i made my decision, he personally went out-of-town to get the MKX I wanted and brought it back to LA. Without Hans, i would probably by driving a different car today. Michael Gallion helped us buy our car yesterday. He was amazing! This was the third dealership that we had been to, and they had the widest selection of cars that we were interested in. What we really liked about Michael in particular is that we felt like we could trust him. We had done a lot of research prior to visiting SB Ford/Lincoln, and when we would ask a specific technical question about the car, it was apparent that he either knew the information or he would consult with his team for the answer. This made us feel respected in that he wasnt making up answers or leading us astray. The best way I can describe my experience with Michael was that he made us feel at home. We were really stressing the car shopping experience, but when we arrived at SB Ford/Lincoln, MIchael broke through the salesperson/buyer dynamic and created a simple, effortless, and fun experience. I will come back to Michael for my car purchase.

South Bay Ford Lincoln did a Bait and Switch tactic on me, followed up with cheap sales techniques I remember from a sales101 guide I saw in elementary school.I found their vehicle online, submitted a credit application, and after two days of not getting back to me, they let me know Im approved for 3.99 rate with $0. So I ask what I need to bring with me in order to complete the purchase, and they say just your license and proof of insurance.So I plan the following day to make time and take a cab to the dealership whereas they tell me that Im not approved and theyll need money down, plus a higher rate at 6.99.From here, the sales manager who sits behind a desk and refuses to simply speak directly to me, has the sales associate play middle-man running back and forth with a bunch of cant do info and new rates and numbers on paper, as if they are negotiating a normal deal or customer situation, which is a total insult and shows just how disingenuous their apology was.The sales manager doesnt take responsibility for the situation and keeps mentioning me and the sales rep as a thirds party, as if we made this mistake, and he cant do anything. Then, he says he cant lose money on the deal so he cant drop the price in order to make up for the rate adjust, so he gives $500 off the full price of $30,888. Thats right, I was paying full asking price, and this bait and switch tactic still happened.After more insulting sales techniques from 1980s, he claims well, we obviously cant reach an agreement, so send me your taxi bill and Ill send you a check, as if a monetary reimbursement for the taxi is sufficient for this unethical behavior, my time out of my day to complete this entire across-town run around, much less anything close to alleviating the frustration of being treated like this.Also, they dont offer Carfax, which Lincoln corporate has told me is against policy and Lincoln then had to run a Carfax for me. Lincoln probably cares to hear about this bait and switch practice too.

My husband and I went to South Bay Ford to purchase a certified preowned Ford Edge. The customer service at South Bay was top notch. When arriving at the dealership we were promptly greeted by a courtesy clerk and our salesman Michael Gallion was friendly, knowledgeable, and just all around pleasant to deal with. He made sure that all of our needs and question were meet. After my husband and I finished with our purchase, Michael went out of his way to make sure we were completely satisfied with our purchase. I recently went to South Bay Ford to lease an 2014 Ford Explorer.My salesman Michael Gallion was great! He was very patient and helpful during my purchasing process. I came in a couple of times and was still unsure...Michael always informed of me of sales/specials I could take advantage of and he never made me feel pressured...which was why I chose to make my final purchase with him. Just traded in my 2010 Prius for a 2015 Fusion Energi Titanium lease, and could not be happier. An upgrade across the board; technology, styling, comfort, driving experience, even gas mileage (for me, I can use all electric mode to and from work). Howard Malinsky was my sales consultant and he was great, patient and knowledgeable and never tried the hard sell on me even though he knew I was looking a several different carmakers, and he was always available to answer my questions even over text. They gave me a very fair deal on my trade in, and the experience all around was easily the most pleasant car shopping experience Ive ever had (this is my sixth car).
