As a real estate professional, I have used Jim Smith Services many times over the years for AC/Heating repairs. From the moment you place the call, they are professional and helpful. They consistently go above and beyond to make sure the repair and payment process goes smoothly. Jim Smith Services is one of the best in town, I highly recommend them.

I was very pleased with all areas of service! Customer Service was quick to answer the phone and got me an appointment right away to get my air checked on! She was happy to help and very polite! They were prompt at getting to my house for the appointment and took care of everything that I needed that day! We had to order a part and it was ordered and received quickly! I would use them again and I highly recommend them if you need any work done!

First I’d like to say the gentleman who fixed out AC was amazing! Respectful, kind and helpful. He gets 5 stars!No complaints there.I gave one star due to the customer service side. The female they have answering phones, setting up appointments, taking payments, etc. is extremely unprofessional.When questions are asked about a bill she attempts to answer but doesn’t. Cuts you off while you’re trying to explain your concerns and then makes attempt to come after your character.I went to pay the bill and she wouldn’t allow me to get a word in. She brought up her interaction with my husband, I again expressed our concern/questions about the billing.I told her that’s all it was, concern and questions. I didn’t need to rehash the pervious visit.She then says if you don’t have the money to pay then say that, and A payment plan could be arranged. Money was NEVER the issue. Just questions about our invoice. We were never told or discussed a charge and just clearing it up.She continued to insinuate money was our issue and I had to keep reminding her that was never an issue.I again explained we just wanted to clear things up. I was there to pay and that’s all. She got very irritated and made the comment they should come and take back the fixed part and make us go elsewhere to get it fixed. (After she already took my cash payment).I asked for a zero balance receipt, was told they don’t do that. I requested she sign and state zero balance on our account. It seem to be a real inconvenience for her to do that for me. She then started to get choked up, have few tears and then tell me how she never had to deal with people like myself before. I was nothing but respectful and simply wanted to pay my bill. She continued to tell me they shouldn’t of helped with the warranty and that she didn’t understand our question/concerns.I asked again for the zero balance.I said there are no hard feelings and appreciate their help. I said with everything else we can agree to disagree or agree there was miscommunication on both parties. She said fair enough, then proceeded to tell me they’ll no longer do business with us and I said that was fine, I’d rather do business elsewhere after this experience with her.It’s sad this employee is giving the business a bad wrap.If you choose to use this business, beware of the customer service.

Always have had wonderful experiences with this company. So glad I switched to them. Just called on a hot SUNDAY afternoon in July and Jim Smith came over in 15 minutes. What more could you ask for?!? Thank you.

AC had been acting up but bad today. Called Jim Smith services at last minute. John came out promptly and fixed problem! Gave me good advice as to what may have caused problem. Lucky that someone able to come especially with hurricane Gordon on way.Thanks!!😎
