I had gotten into a car accident that bent my back right strut. They got me in so quickly and did a Thorough check of my car. Tod took pictures of everything that need fixed and Alicia texted me a link where I could look at the pictures with Descriptions on them. They are a family that loves helping people. I could feel that they truly care about there customers. They even have financial assistance options. I would recommend Pat’s Auto Repair.

Took my husbands truck in to get rear breaks repaired lines and all they checked all the breaks bearings and hubs. Excellent communication up front about pricing and procedures quote I was give was almost dead on to bill total. Will probably go back

Update: They called me after I left this review and left me a voicemail for ME to call THEM. They said they had some things they needed to discuss with me. I didnt return the call and they never called back. I have no idea why they feel this was handled with any amount of good customer service. The work was fine and for a reasonable price (just waaaaay too long to do it) but I would never recommend due to the customer service.Original review: I really thought when my issues started that this was going to be a good experience. The tow truck driver was nice, this place has great reviews, and the ladies in the office seemed nice. I dont know if its because Im from out of town, the car was for a college student or if I was just too patient, but Im really dissatisfied with the time it took and poor outward communication. We called for a jump Wednesday night. The guy came out, was nice and professional but couldnt get it started. He arranged for a tow to their shop and we were pretty happy. He said he didnt know if they would get to it that week (Thursday or Friday) but if not Id hear from them Monday or Tuesday about what was wrong. That seemed acceptable.I waited, and when I didnt get a call the following Tuesday, I called on Wednesday at 9:50 am. I was told they thought it was a starter because it started for them, then didnt start once. Only so I made sure they had all the info, I let them know I had tried to start for a whole day and it never started. I simply ask if they thought it was the starter, they make sure as its an expensive part. It was Wednesday morning, almost a whole week later so I thought it would be done soon.The next day, Thursday, I was wondering what they found so I again called at 10 am. Yes, they thought it was the starter and they were going. I asked for a quote. They called me at 11:30, gave me a quote, said there was a starter available in hastings and they would get started soon. Might be done that afternoon, for sure by Friday morning.Friday I called at 11:11 am as I hadnt heard (I had now called 3 times, they had called me once). Nope, wasnt done. I believe someone went home once for personal reasons, then someone went home sick the next day was a reason given. But they would try to get it done that afternoon by 5. I told them I needed to know before 5 if it was going to be done so my daughter could plan ahead to pick it up. I think this frustrated them as the conversation got less friendly. But, she said she should know by 3 if they were going to have it done or not. I made sure she was going to call me, I even said I was not going to call. Yes, they would call one way or another.Friday at 3, no call. 4pm. No call. 5pm. No call. Monday morning I got a text it was done. I feel jipped, I cant understand why the picked us for such bad service. I had to call them 3/4 of the time. They had the car 7 business days. I understand if someone went home, but they had to be working on something. Were all the cars they had there been there as long as mine? And finally, not calling Friday like the said. That was unprofessional.

I have taken my vehicles to Pats since I moved to town four years ago. They are consistently great to work with! Their employees go above and beyond to make getting my vehicle serviced as easy as possible. They have picked my vehicle up from me at work and returned it when the work was done so that I dont have to leave work or arrange rides from someone. After my last oil change they noticed I was low on fuel and offered to fill it up for me before returning my car to me. It may have been a small act for them, but made a huge difference to me!Im a single mom and have to budget carefully. Even when Ive needed repairs the prices for service have been affordable. I am always confident that Im not being taken advantage of and I can trust the work being done.

Awesome service and friendly, helpful staff. They went above and beyond to help when my tire flew off my truck. After towing it to their shop they even lent us some tools to help fix the problem. Couldnt appreciate it more as money is tight right now with Christmas a few days away. Highly recommend!

My experience with Pats was very nice. They had my car in right on time, the got it all done very fast and efficient. On my way to Hastings from out of town, the muffler on my Corolla disconnected from the rest of the exhaust pipe. Pat’s was able to find time to weld the muffler back on quickly, and at a very reasonable price. Highly recommend!

Never will I take my car there again. Said they would work with payment arrangements on a 2600.00 repair. And then went to pick up my vehicle and they said no we need the full payment. I tried to get the auto sales place to help pay for it and they said no. And then the people at Pats twisted that and said I thought the auto sales place were going to pay for it which I had told them it was just the opposite.

Needed to be towed after I lost control and my van ended up in a ditch. Todd came out promptly on a very cold and blustery day, figured out how to extract me without flipping the van, and towed me to a local Ford dealership. Professional, friendly, knew his stuff. Very pleased with his service!

Took my car here to fix one thing, ended up having to bring it back twice because they messed it up (Im not a car person, they said they clamped a hose that shouldnt have been). When I brought it back they called to tell me they didnt get to it and Ive have to bring it back, just try not to drive it a lot. I was at work at the time so I asked them to lock my keys in it and Id pick it up later. They left the keys on the driver seat in plain sight, unlocked. I brought it back a third time to get the problem fixed and Im still having the same issues as before. I was thankful they were able to tow me, but thats about the only good thing Ive gotten from this company. Staff was impatient, poor appointment planning, and just general carelessness.

Ill never bring any vehicle to these guys again. Brought my mini van in to get a tune up (plugs, wires, filter, etc). They broke a plug and wire installing them, and gave me the run around about not knowing why the van wasnt running right. I ended up paying for having my injectors cleaned when they didnt need it after they did a fuel system cleaner, new egr valve. After the first time taking it back and still having the same issue I took it to a real mechanic who found the spark plug and wire that they broke and a bad coil for cylinder 3. If you want repair work done right the first time and not having to pay for extra labor and charges and ineptitude, dont take your vehicle to these guys.

I ended broke down and needed to replace the motor. I payed for a remaned motor out of pocket with a warranty. After 2 weeks and several attempts Pats auto couldnt get the truck running correctly...After Pats purchased several parts that werent needed, still no luck on getting the new engine to clear the fix engine codes. I ended up taking the vehicle to a dealership. They located the problem quickly and the re-maned motor was faulty....The warranty that came with the motor was also bunk. Didnt cover any labor. So I ended up paying the dealership more money to finish fixing the problems..was extremely upset and was offered nothing to offset the cost......fast forward two months.......I am again out of town when motor and exhaust was making yerrterr noises. Stopped by the local Midas shop ...problem found. Pats never complety tightened the exhaust bolts from the new factory Y pipe that they said had to be replaced. Problem solved by tightening two bolts.....frustrated as hell with the qaulity of service, the complete disregard to details and the fact they still charged full price for a job they never completed and I am still finding repairs from the time they tried to fix the vehicle......lets this be a warning to potential customers. I would be reluctant to letting them do anything other than a basic oil change. And the fact that the office staff tries to intervene when there is a problems........To add injury to insult. The last communication that I had with Kara was they were going to contact the warranty company for some type of reimbursement. Today I get another bill from them for parts that were never needed. A real class act, if you ask me.

RUN AWAY FROM THESE SCAMMERS!This is a long and specific review, read it all. Let me tell you what a rip off these people are. My handicap son has these people tow in his Taurus and get it checked out. The car had been sitting for two years. They said he needed a battery, serpitime belt, fuel filter and a water pump. Maybe it needed all that but Im not sure. So they replaced the battery, fuel filter, and belts. This is what they charged, battery $200 plus $15 for battery terminals and $40.00 INSTALATION 40 BUCKS TO INSTALL A BATTERY??? COME ON $300 FIR A BATTERY? Next is the inline fuel filter available for less than $5 anywhere. They charged $30.00 for the filter and labor of $41 to loosen two screw clamps and switch out the filter and tighten the two screws again. Absolute RIPP OFF charging $70 for a fuel filter. The list goes on. $100 FOR TWO BELTS AND $130 TO INSTALL THEM. THIS place is a scam and I would never recommend it to anyone. They wanted another $400 for a water pump. $400 FOR A TAURUS WATER PUMP, WHAT A RIPP OFF!!

This has to be the worst overall company ever, i had a carriage bolt break under my hood, so i called my insurance company, they called this guy. I told them i wanted it hauled 4 miles down the road to home and this company ignored those orders. Furthermore they charged a holding fee because they didnt take it where i wanted it. After a few days the insurance company had another company pull it off Pats lot, when i got it back i found the technicians at Pats had got under the hood and cut every electrical wire they could. Pats Auto Repair and Welding is the dirtiest place Ive been, I wouldnt recommend these guys to my worst enemy.
