The mail carrier in this area constantly delivers my next door neighbors mail to my address, so I know that my mail is delivered to someone elses address. This is ridiculous. It doesnt seem to matter that this has been reported numerous times; the carrier(s) continues doing the same screwups. It appears that some mail carriers are not taking their jobs seriously, need to be more conscientious, and stay off the mobile device while delivering the mail. Where is management?

This is absolutely the worst postmaster that Harvey post office has ever had. The service has gone down since she has been there. The terrible employees are not held accountable and the good ones are overwhelmed because no one comes to work. I had a package out for delivery that was scanned picked up at office but I never went there to pick it up so why was it scanned picked up? The postmaster needs to be removed immediately!

I have not received any mail since 7/16/2021. This is ridiculous. I have very important Mail coming and should have arrived Saturday. Man and I thought Riverdale was horrible.

Lie and say they delivered mail or packages when they never showed up to this route. Sometimes don’t even come at all but say they do. And when they do come they throw your packages. Or they are always on there phone not paying attention what they are doing. Now waiting on a package that said out for delivery and never came but now say i went to pick it up at post office how if it was out for delivery????????

They are soooo rude I hate it here I ask the lady could I have my paper back because it has my ssn and driver license number and birthday on there she told me no she has to keep it if I get anything in my name I will press charges on her she even made a copy of my drivers license which is so odd to me they need new professional workers and also none of the workers had a mask on during COVID

This is the absolute worst post office I have ever experience. I haven’t received my mail in 2 weeks . They could have left a note or anything I’ll come pick up my own mail since it’s such a problem delivery my mail on time.

They need to hire or tell all mail carriers to deliver the mail on time. One minute theyre a block away and the next minute they disappear. We’ve lived in Harvey, IL for 13 years and moved just recently. Our experience with this post office has not been a pleasant one. First I’d like to say that our regular mail carrier is good. He does his job and is usually on time with mail delivery. I wish I knew his name so that I could leave HIM a good review, so the star that I left is for him and NOT the Harvey Post Office itself.As for the Harvey Post Office itself I give it 5 thumbs down 👎🏾 👎🏾👎🏾👎🏾👎🏾. As stated in the other reviews, if there’s a substitute mail carrier they are late, lax, lazy, talking on the phone (female sub carriers), leaving other people’s important mail in our mailbox (someone’s $6000+ Check has been delivered to our house TWICE... they’re lucky we’re not thieves), they’ve held our packages to let them pile up (we buy products to sell online so that caused us to lose MONEY), they’d lie about attempting to deliver mail (I’m a stay at home, work at home, homeschool mom so I’m ALWAYS AT HOME)... the list goes on and on.I’m so glad that we’ve moved from this god forsaken city however we’re still dealing with Harvey Post Office issues. We had an important check coming from the State of Illinois and was waiting until after it was delivered to put in our change of address so that it wouldn’t be returned to the State. We still own the house and go by there every evening after 7p to pick up the mail. Our mail was put on hold due to the house looking abandoned however when dealing with the front desk we were given different information from two of the workers at the front desk in the lobby. We had to track down our regular Harvey mailman to get the situation rectified. Again, HE has always been great 👍🏾 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾.

WHOEVER IS SORTING THE MAIL AT THIS LOCATION OPENS AND STEALS HALF OF THE MAIL THAT GOES OUT. THIS IS THE FIFTH TIME IN OVER 3 MONTHS THAT MY PACKAGES HAVE EITHER BEEN STOLEN OR OPENED/DAMAGED.

My shipments are constantly being delayed due to no access to front door which isnt true because theres always someone at home to answer the door whenever theres something being delivered. I called the post office to get my shipments redelivered and they put me on hold for an hour and no one even picked up. They provide the most terrible service by far but no one does anything about it and its frustrating.

Google should allow people to write reviews without giving stars because this place deserves not one. I went months without getting mail because they said I didn’t have my name on my mailbox and my house was considered “abandoned”. My lawn is always kept up with, I have blinds in my window, my car is outside and I have a porch light and garbage cans next to my house. What else do they need? I put my name on my mailbox about a month ago, which by the way no one ever told me about their “rule”. I’m so fed up today because when I checked amazon to see if my package was delivered and it says, delivery attempted and it says address does not exist. My address is saved on amazon and I have had packages delivered to my home before, these people are just lazy and don’t want to do their “JOBS”. I am truly fed up with this post office. How are they still open with only one star. SHUT IT DOWN IMMEDIATELY!!!!!!

My experience with this is usually great, but thats only when our usual person, who deliver our mail. When theres is a person filling in his spot, that person always lie and say they made an attempt to deliver but no one wasnt home. However, someone is always at my house. This is not the first time this has happened. It happened multiple times and one time was when UPS drove passed my house and a few hours later they claimed they deliver but no one was home. Today, 11 May 2016, a nice day outside, which mean Im outside with the kids until 6:30, I received a notification that an attempt was made at 4 and no one was at home so my package has been returned back to UPS and another attempt will be made tomorrow. Remind you, Ive been sitting on the porch since 3 and I did NOT see a ups truck drive up my street. UPS on center street in Harvey Illinois need to get it together because the next step I will be taking, tomorrow, is going up there and filing a claim!!!!

Mail for Midlothian Post Office goes to Harvey Post office then dropped off at Posen Post Office. My issue is the Midlothian Postal office employees. Our mail isnt getting to us. Checks are being held and after 3 years of the same workers sorting out our mail all of a sudden nobody knows whos name goes with what mail box number. Ive had a Midlothian Post office box for almost 20 years and now the employees are intentionally holding my mail. My box is paid up for each year early. I spoke with Midlothian employees,etc about this situation. All the mail IM speaking of has our box number on it! So, Im not going to be irate or disrespectful. I prayed about it and now those employees or employee thats intentionally trying to hurt my family with not giving us our checks,etc will have to answer to God.

They are extremely disrespectful and unhelpful. I’m not sure why these people work in customer service if they have no idea how to work well with the public. I’ve had numerous problems with them, my orders never arrive on time, and I always have to go through a lengthy process of finding whatever it is that I ordered. Pathetic. Hopefully they get some new people soon.

By far one of the worst Postal Offices in the entire system of USPS. They say item out for delivery yet they drive by and dont leave anything & when they say why they didnt leave it they come up with lies saying Oh we couldnt deliver this item because your mailbox was blocked THEN HOW THE HELL DID YOU HAPPEN TO BE ABLE TO LEAVE ME BILLS & OTHER ENVELOPES & NOT PACKAGES THAT CLEARLY CAN FIT INSIDE THE MAILBOX & THERED STILL BE ENOUGH SPACE FOR THE PACKAGE & ENVELOPE(S) TO FIT!!!

I really dislike using the post office ever since I moved here, i always get the wrong mail, missing mail etc. When im expecting a delivery it does not arrive on the expected date and there are times that no notice is left i have to track down packages. By far worse mail service.
