Lafayette Louisiana location Margaret was a friendly helpful associate who deserves a raise. She had the building looking spotless and a clean fresh scent. Maintenance people is often overlooked but they gives customer their impression of a company. I did not want to get down but my husband convinced me and the store front was well upkept. Every other time that I’ve come here the employees have been extremely helpful even going out of their way to help me fix my own car. But today (8/28/21) they opened at 8 and I get here at 8:45 and they turn me away because of the hurricane that isn’t supposed to make landfall for another 24-36 hours and there are customers inside but they send me away. Their website said they were going to be open all day and got updated as soon as I got here stating that they are closing at 10AM (it’s 9:00AM right now) All I needed was an ignition coil that would have taken me 30 seconds to take off of a car and maybe 2 minutes to buy it but they still turned me away. Even after being a very loyal customer spending hundreds if not thousands of dollars here. The first guy I talked to just completely ignored me after saying nothing but “we’re closed” and walked away. The second guy was a little more nice about it but they still refused to take me. Almost makes you feel like a burden instead of a valued customer. I will not be returning here considering I needed 5 minutes WHILE OTHER CUSTOMERS WERE INSIDE AND ON THE LOT and they still denied my money.

Its nice to go into the yard looking for the parts needed but its quite disappointing to see that half of the employees see you as a burden not as a customer. I do online shopping for a living and I care about any customer wanting to collect their items (and I stay minutes after closing with good disposition)Today I arrived at 4:43 pm and as Im about to enter the building a guy yells at me we close at 5 (until recently they were open till 5:30 pm).Inside the property, as soon as I found my car being 4:48 pm , the burglar alarm went off and also a police-like siren which made the area very inhospitable for my daughter and myselfWe headed out at 4:55 pm so minutes before closing time...Ironically, I have been telling some of my customers at work about Pull a part recommending that place to themOuch

Was frustrated pricing parts online and just wrote a part inyo the search engine and it was kind enough to remind me a little elbow grease and luck and now Im headed home to fix this once and for all without spending a fortune. There are a lot cars to pick from and an online listing of what they have and its location. Im sure Katrina wiped them out in 2005, so there arent many older cars. They have a diverse staff which Id bet speak Spanish and Vietnamese (there are large communities of both in this area). The prices are good and many have standard prices for nonspecific stuff like hoods, engines, transmission doors...

When I called, I spoke with the manager directly (unknowingly) and she was extremely helpful and polite. The computer system shut down on her while she was assisting me, so she went above and beyond to ensure my pick up was scheduled.

A very nice lady who said her name was GG helped me with everything and finding the parts and her coworker Danielle the cashier were very nice. They made sure i found everything i needed rhey all made me feel very welcome and helped me and a man kenny as well. You guys have a great team here i will definitely be back again

I spent Saturday morning gathering much needed parts with the help of renting a golf cart to get around made it so much easier. The staff was extremely helpful when checking out and even helped this disabled old guy get his parts to my truck. It was worth the drive from Hammond. Ill be back.

I was online at othet auto sites trying to buy parts for my truck and found the prices to be very highh. Was here on Saturday the 4th of April @ about 10am / 10:30ish. The door lady was incredibly rude, she was talking to people in a downgrading, unprofessional manner. People come here and spend money there is no need to be treated in such way when our money is being used in your establishment,Customer Service is key!! Standing there rolling her eyes and talking down to people is very unprofessional and unpleasant for the customers spending their money. Maybe you should rethink some of your staff if you want a better reputation for your establishment. ☹️

Pretty cool place. I wasnt sure what to expect, but I was pleasantly surprised. The cars were organized by manufacturer, which was really helpful. I walked in and asked the first employee I saw how the place works and she was very helpful in describing it to me. I was able to print out a sheet that told me what isle the cars I was looking for were on. It took me a few minutes to figure out how the yard was laid out, but I found the cars in a matter of about 5-10 minutes. I took my tools and disassembled the part I needed, took it up to the counter and paid. The whole visit took about a hour and cost me about $15, it was a dealer only part that wouldve ran about $90. You cant beat that! I will be returning to Pull A Part in the future for hard to find parts.My only gripes would be that the cars frames were resting on top of 4 car rims being used like jack stands. That made me a little nervous but upon closer inspection it looked to be spot welded. I still wouldnt get under one of them without jack stands. Last, I wish they wouldve had more late model cars, but Im sure thats hit or miss depending on when you visit.

By far the cleanest and best organized yard Ive been to, so far. Plenty of room, cars are placed on old rims so its easy to get under if needed, employees were pleasant. If you know what you are doing and know what to look for, this is the place. Ill definitely be returning.

Ive been going to this pull a part for a few years now, as its the only one in New Orleans that I know of. Ive always had a good experience until the last few times I went. The employees at the register have been argumentative and disrespectful, the prices they charge are higher than listed and the management is even rude and combative. I had trouble with the price I was charged and the woman at the counter, before I had even finished speaking, waved me off the side and shouted next customer without even acknowledging that she intended to call a manager to help me. The manager came after she yelled to him when she was done helping a few more customers. He was immediately dismissive of my issue and his first resolution was for me to call corporate if I had a problem. He didnt even let me speak 3 words about what that problem was so it seemed quite low on his priority list.The issue at hand was that I had pulled two rims, which had tires on them, expecting to pay $9.95 each for them, as your website advertises a rim with tire unfit for road use. When I get to the counter my total comes to $53 and some change. The tires had about 10% tread at best and were covered in dry rot and grease (not fit for road use). His argument was that they were basically brand new and you have no clue how much new tires cost.He asked me right before I walked out How do you expect me to make money if I give away good tires?I dont. But how do YOU expect to make money if you let poor management screw your customers over?You must have recently hired the manager running that location, and it would be in your businesss best interest to look into his hiring and training practices, as well as his approach to what he calls customer service

Store sign on building and website says admission until 5:30, close at 6pm, They are harassing you at 5pm to come to the front. They do not take anymore sales at 5:30... Then have the nerve to catch an attitude... Some of them are cool, but they have some there I try to avoid..

Nothing is more convenient than being able to get a human on the phone, all this automation is never more helpful than a living breathing individual. Its a big deal to have to drive all the way to the west bank without knowing if they even have the part you have to pull yourself....

Was quite happy with the service and bing my first trip was truly amazed at the amount of inventory they had. My only suggestion to them, and to anyone going here, Research your part before heading out. I was told that they didnt have the door handle I was looking for but when I went out looking for another part they did have I found the first one on a different vehicle. The part was interchangeable between the two trucks. After coming home I found that they did have several vehicles that might have had parts for my truck. Ill know to look now before going but still was able to find what I needed. Only reason I didnt give 5 stars was that the computer system should have know that these were interchangeable.
