!DO NOT RENT HERE! The headache you’ll obtain if you decide to live here will be disgusting. The staff is nonchalant and flat out careless. We’ve been without air conditioning for eight days with no resolution in sight. We were told the staff would do “fridge clean outs” after hurricane Ida and it was a lie. We returned to a stench in our apartment along with a missing support beam from our porch causing damages to our room. The leasing agents show no concern over the units. The phones are off the hooks but the agents are outside of the office constantly. It’s been next to impossible to get back into a routines after hurricane Ida and they don’t even answer emails or the phone to help their tenants. Older maintenance man was often drunk stumbling around the grounds. They throw the trash down the steps leaving behind debris and call it “trash service”.The appliances do not work correctly.Again, do not live here unless you’re about to be homeless or worse. The security gate has been broken for weeks. It’s overall unsafe and anyone can come in or out. This place is a nightmare and it starts and ends with the leasing department and I’m 99% sure the apartments behind them(emerald point) are owned by the same people . Everything about this place is misleading and overall terrible and dangerous

The staff is always friendly and professional. They care about their resident needs. The manager is awesome. Nadia made sure that I was happy and satisfied. She went over and beyond to make sure that they found the apartment that I wanted. My manager and staff is better than yours. Thanks Summerfield!!!!!!!

I’ve been living here with my wife for about 2 1/2 years, we now have a 1 y/o. It has been a great experience living here throughout these different stages in our lives, both before and after the addition to the family. The management has always been very nice and kind, but also extremely helpful and professional with multiple ways to contact them for any given situation. Whether it’s an emergency or just looking for information, the staff has always noticeably attempted to ensure our experience was a positive one. Even throughout times like this where we know things might be a little rough with all of us, including them too with this whole covid situation going on as I write this, they have remained just as helpful, probably more so than ever, and if anyone from the management or staff is reading this I’d like to say that my family and I greatly appreciate all your hard work towards making living here a great experience for us. We are currently in the process of transitioning into a different model apartment within these same apartments as we now need more space, and I wouldn’t have thought the process would be so simple, but it has been super quick and very easy with them. Also, thoughtful of the military in our community, they offer a military discount!

My units carpet was wet every time it rained. So you know 90% of the time. The office personnel were unprofessional and then new management came in and seemed to be doing stuff. But it was just that, an appearance. No one communicates with one another and they blame others for short comings. No sense of responsibility.

I just moved in these apartments. The leasing agent Bri was very helpful.

It starts with the office staff Tiffany went over and beyond with the service of making sure the process of my application and a smooth move in. Brionne and Nadia is very excellent with maintenance requests and making sure the property look good. Yall this is my first apartment, and it is a very nice and pretty apartment but.....the best part is the staff, they r very helpful very friendly people they make me laugh and treat me like a friend ever time i see them.

Please do not stay here unless management hires security and has a security car on the property at all times, people have been getting robbed at Gun Point at there apartment door! Do not take the risk of living here until security is placed on the property the security gate dosnt do anything they just wait for a car to enter and they enter behind them.. they stake out on the property for hours without anyone from management noticing then they rob anyone going into there apartments..

The experience so far has been nothing but pleasant. I came in with questions and the staff was more than happy to listen to my concerns and assist me in anyways possible, esp. Mrs. Ryane! She is great!The area around is very nice and safe, the complex looks pretty, pool is clean and a very nice gym facility. I am looking forward to living here and am very optimistic about the team and complex here.

I came to Summerfield looking for exactly what I found, a place to call home that fits my chic style and friendly office staff. Not only are the apartments great, but if you get the chance to meet Brionne, just know she’s extremely helpful and she will make sure your moving transition is pleasant.

The staff here is very friendly and welcoming. I love the gated community and its also very quiet in the area. I also enjoy that they have monthly activities for all of the residents. The ice cream party was so fun. This place beats any other apartments Ive stayed at before.

Calling around looking for apartments suck. But when I called summerfield apartments that changed. Especially speaking with Ryanne. She was very pleasant and helped me out tremendously! This is NOT a gated community. The gate never works and if it does, someone usually just pushes it open. Maintenance is the worse. The pool is only open 3 months out of the year. The gym is open IF your card works. The only thing you are paying almost a thousand dollars for is the location. Walls are paper thin, you get no service, no light bulbs, nothing. Just mold infested, paper thin walls, dirty carpet that they will not clean and dogs who poop all over the grass. I would NOT recommend moving in these apartments. They are HIGHLY overpriced and you get nothing close to what you pay for. GOOD LUCK!

Havent even stayed there for a month and already got robbed inside the apartment. Of course no one knows anything. Management was NO HELP! On top of this shady place, roaches everywhere. Not a place to stay if you have family. Never again!

Look somewhere else unless youre desperate. So many problems, it began with our first day here. The apartment wasnt ready. We had to rush here from Houston Texas on Thursday to get our contract signed because their computer system was undergoing maintenance. After the 6 hour drive the office wasnt ready until the following Monday. Then they had us go through the apartment and document everything that was broken they didnt fix any of it. Weve had multiple electrical issues, light bulbs constantly going out, lost a TV, had to replace a PS4 power supply and replace the power supply on our couch. The A/C has gone out 3 or 4 times in the past month. At first the coils were freezing over the maintenance man said to leave it on fan for awhile to let it defrost then he left. Finally they decided to put freon in the unit. They left the panel off the blower and didnt put in a new filter so the cover is just leaning against the wall in the hallway. Shoddy work. The A/C is out again now, I went to the office before noon but nobody has shown up yet even after a second call. Sink is leaking, mold is growing on the wall by the washing machine because the upstairs unit flooded but they didnt dry anything. I can go on and on but just take my word for it. Unless you have no other choice stay away.**Update - 5/23/17 - 24 Hours since A/C reported out and no maintenance. Reported the kitchen sink leaking on 5/19/17 no one has come.

They have a real bad management since I lived in this apartment I’ve been here for three months and I go to them every week and complaint to come fix in the apartment and they never came I finally talk to the manager and she was so rude and she said they will fix that on their own time I can set up a day I’m off on the on Mondays so if they don’t want to fix nothing either they give me my deposit back and let me break the lease or move me to a better apartment unit

I lived here for about 18 months and the apts were good. Community is quiet at night so you dont have to worry about any funny business going on. It is a gated community but the gate often breaks or the residents break it or lock it open. Police patrols at night as part of your contract. I traveled often and never had anything happen. If I had to I would live here again.

I moved in Summerfield June of 2017, and after a week of living here there was heavy rain. It rained inside the apartment from the top of the front door and alongside the front door wall and above the sliding door, which completely flooded the living room and half of the dining area. This occurred several times over the course of about 2 months every time it had heavy downpours. Management (Jashieka) would send someone out to vacuum up the water, but the water caused mildew and the mildew was just painted over. Management also promised new carpet for the apartment because it was completely ruined after it flooded so many times. New carpet never happened. Because of this issue I never put furniture in the living area because I was afraid it would get damaged. I also never moved into another apartment because the only ones available at the time was upstairs. Eventually, new management took over, things seemed a little better and the maintenance crew fixed the problem some kind of way, but the carpet still was never changed. I ended up having a grease fire in the apartment and the manager (Nadia) was very patient and willing to work with me so I can pay for the damages.Long story short, I got pregnant and had my baby close to the end of my lease, I thought I was going to be able to renew, but at the last minute life happened so I let the apartment go a month after I should have renewed my lease. Overall, I would tell anyone who is looking to live at Summerfieild that they should go and only because every experience is different. I lived at Summerfield in years 2004-2005 and I left because of Hurricane Katrina, I moved back after they re-opened in 2009-2011. I then returned again in June of 2017-2018. The rent now is ridiculously high now. I would never move back there to pay that amount of rent for the same apartment that used to be $395 a month.

They promis,to fix things and never show up! This place is full of bedbugs and termites and the management has an attitude. They just move people in without changing anything . This has been an ongoing thing. But they so quick to eviction notice without solving the issue. I advice anyone not to move here until management keep their word and fix things on time!

I live here since august .... I have very little complaints ... Its a very safe environment .... My only complaint is the sugar ants which is an easy fix... I enjoy the staffing is very friendly.

Although, we just moved here and lost power due to a hurricane, we love our neighbors, we made the best of it. LoL! My kids love it here too, they made alot of new decent friends their age. And they love the clean park!! I just hope when I go home tonight the power is on, because its so darn hot today, and Im hungry for real food. :P So yeah, this place is a great place to live so far, and I believe will continue to be as well. Would I recommend this apartment complex to my friends and family? Yes, yes I sure would.

Seriously? Ive already had to ask 4 times to have someone come and fix my air conditioner just in the past week! Ive lived here since March 31 and every time it rains, my closet has this huge puddle because of the rain, and I am on the first floor! Ive asked, at least once a month, for this to be fixed, but guess what, still not fixed! On top of that, the stopper in my bathroom sink got stuck in the down position and I had to ask 3 times for someone to come fix that. I currently pay $830 a month, plus water, definitely not worth it. Oh and they give you an invoice every month, but when you get it make sure to check the date on it, twice they made a mistake on the due date, then tried to charge me a late fee, and put a 5 day notice on my door! Ill be happy when my lease is up and I can find something different where the office staff actually cares about their residents and the maintenance staff knows how to fix things!

Location is the best you can get for the Westbank if thats what youre looking for. Gate is always broken. Always. Small bathrooms. Balconies exist but not much of a view. Staff is friendly. Maintenance is hit or miss. Dont have packages dropped at your door, I had two go missing is a 3 month span.

I decided to go to the gym, and was met by the most disgusting odor ever. Smells like feet, sweat, ass and musk. The machines are covered in dirt, filth and unidentified stains. The guy working out, finished his workout and left without wiping the machine. So judging from the smell and the tissue in the machines, Im assuming no one cleans the gym like EVER. I called for maintenence on Monday and they still have not come to fix the problem, so as always I just fixed it myself. After over 6 months of reporting mildew on the ceiling from the upstairs leak, no one has come out and the stain is still there. For over 9 hundred dollars a month, you would think they could keep up the place better. But when you dont care, it shows. I wish I knew who owned the property, they really need to do better.

Really offensive, and insulting management. Maintenance was mediocre, half-times followed through. Shoddy construction after Isaac to save money. Overcharge on rent. Major plumbing problems in Emerald Pointe, their studios. (I lived in both.) YOU WILL LEAVE IN 6 MONTHS. ROACH MOTEL!!!!! RIGHT NEXT TO A CANAL!!!
