Lived here for one and a half years. Great experience and value. The few times I needed maintenance management responded promptly and the problem was fixed within a few days. Would definitely recommend for students or anyone else.

I rented from Susan Sons for 8 years. During this time, they were attentive, professional, and took excellent care of their tenants. If I ever had any questions, needed anything fixed, or when there was a snow storm, they always took care of it. The apartment and building itself was clean, very pleasant, and a well maintained. Souza & Sons Apartments in the west end of Hartford are the BEST landlords and rental management Ive experienced in my life. They are friendly, wonderful and always get the job done quickly and efficiently. They care about the comfort of their tenants and they do a great job with snow removal and keeping up with the building maintenance. They also offer a very good lease, affordable rent and extra amenities. They have security cameras around the premise for added safety measures. I couldnt have asked for a better experience living there and Im grateful for everything they have done through out the years. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM!

Amazing experience. As a testament; I wish Dan and John owned property all over the United States. Truly 5 star class.Dan and John really care and have been very accommodating since I moved in. Dan always had great recommendation and advice for Connecticut and John was very helpful with any issues I had. Which were very minor.If I wasnt moving out of the state I would live here forever. The apartment i rented was well maintained and was at convenient location. In building laundry facility and suitable parking. Everything was perfect and landlord were very amiable as well.

Dan and John Souza take the wellbeing of their tenants very seriously. In the winter, the parking lot was always plowed so the tenants could safely leave the lot. They respond quickly to emails and maintenance requests. The rent was a great deal for the location -- you wont get a better price for the space in West Hartford!

Havent even started renting yet but had the pleasure of speaking with Dan and he is more than great! He seems like he takes a real interest in what youre looking for & so far has been a pleasure to speak to over the phone. Looking forward to a potential future with Souza & Sons as my landlord!

I cannot speak highly enough of Dan and the entire Souza & Sons team. I rented a West Hartford apartment from them and had a fantastic experience. Not only was the building very well maintained (and continuously being upgraded!), it was some of the best customer service Ive ever had. Dan was always available to answer any questions, and the two maintenance requests I put in over the year I lived there were both taken care of within 24 hours. Rented from Dan and John for 2 1/2 years on Tremont St. in Hartford and everything was excellent. Rents were lower than most of their competitors, and the buildings were all fantastic. Well maintained, all year round, apartments were well cared for. I never had any issues there. Highly recommended for anybody looking to move to Hartford!

I cant say enough good things about the Souza brothers. I was their tenant for over 5 years and was always treated with the utmost respect. All of the Souzas were friendly, kind, courteous and professional. If there was ever an issue with anything on the property John was there within the hour to take care of it. Rent was very reasonable and the property was was kept in great condition from the start. It would be difficult to find a better group of people to have as landlords.
