I actually rent an apartment on Huntington st, in Hartford. Andy who works with Garden Hills has been on top of everything I needed and has made my living experience here the best I could hope for in Hartford in general. I needed minor repair done and he sent someone out within the week and fixed the issue. Andy is the backbone of Garden Hill and will never hesitate to assist and problem solve if need be. He also isnt afraid to check up on each property to make sure everything is in check. Garden hill is one of the better leasing agencies in Hartford and for good reason. They are good people who care for the community. Dont hesitate to ask for Andy if you are thinking of moving into one of their properties!!!

Andy is GREAT, he listens to tenants complement he try his almost best to fix the problems of soon as possible. He is compassionate and kind and very respectable.

I just want to say that I really liked renting through this company you get what you pay for, affordable an decent apartments. Andy from the Legal Department is the BEST! Always helpful,very considerate and understanding. Never had a bad experience in communicating with any of the staff, maintenance always did their job, but I will forever thank Andy for having a good heart and always trying to work the situation out without complains or hesitations.

Mice and bed bugs and leaking ceilings. Attempting break ins . Furniture being thrown from upper units like couches. People tamper with cars and steal parts and management doesn’t care. Also barely any heat during the winters. You will go many nights with no heat.

I wanted to leave this review about Andrew the legal department. What I loved about Garden Hill Apartments is that their rooms are Big and have a lot of space in the closets and free hot water. Very Great staff like Andrew he always found a way to work with me in difficult times and very hard time. Maintenance is very good always keeping the building clean and healthy, if something was wrong they would definitely take care of it for you, They also have multiple locations! Management is horrible, every time you call maintenance they never come out !! The mice are out of control I don’t have roaches thankgod but the mice situation is disgusting I wish I would have read reviews before moving here !! I’ve been telling them I want My security deposit back and just move but they ignore that question every time. I’m taking this to court and the city

What I loved most about Garden Hill Apartments is how spacious their rooms are and FREE hot water. Very affordable and everything is maintained nicely. Great staff like Andrew always found a way to work with me in difficult times. Maintenance is very good, if something was wrong they would definitely take care of you. I recommend the apartments at Garden Hill. It’s not only living and renting, it’s family. The representatives at the office have great customer service skills, always do their best to accommodate tenants needs. For them to help, one needs to communicate with them. I have dealt with Andy and Christina, never had problems. Have 4 years at same location and plan on staying a while longer!

I was scheduled to see 4 apartments. But when it came time to ask a few questions, I asked about Landlord Verification. I was highly interested in signing and acquiring the apartments but because, I live on my mothers couch, they wont let me apply. They insist that even if I am sleeping on my mothers couch, they have to verify my residence with the landlord. How? I made it clear I live with my parents. I read a lot of reviews and it seemed sketchy. I read reviews on this company and the buildings they manage, and it just wasnt good all around. If you can avoid this place, avoid them all together.

I’ve lived here a year. Will say had some issues with the place I’m the beginning. After working with Andy he was very professional and understanding. He goes above and beyond to make sure tenants are taken care of. Understands the importance of customer satisfaction along while still upholding the policies that are in place. As I said very fair and by the book. Appreciated being able to bring issues to him and seeing results shortly after along with follow up about the issues.

I just wanted 2 write this review because I had a great experience at Garden Hill. No nothing is perfect, but Andy was always the one who always helped me with everything I needed. The staff is helpful and i really believe they do there best to make the residents happy.

I have been renting from Garden Hill for almost 5 years haven’t had any real problems except minor maintenance issues that have been quickly resolved. Rent is reasonable building is quiet and the office staff are wonderful with great people skills. They are always pleasant and friendly.

I wanted to leave this review about Andrew Liburdi in the legal department. I recently had an unfortunate event that occurred at my apartment and the first day I called Andy he immediately came to my attention and gave me options. He listened to what i had to say which was very important and resolved my issue to my satisfaction. Im highly appreciatve of his help and flexibility with my situation.

The office staff was quick to answer my call and help fix my issues.

Honestly, I agree with the parking issue, it isn’t the best accommodation for the renters ratio to the parking spots. But the staff and the maintenance that both work inside the office and outside in the field (in the apartments and landscaping) , are beyond adequate for the price and and the area. The staff in the office Randy and Cassie (I think that’s her name). Always seem to fix my problems (not that I have many) in a sufficient time frame, if not immediately. As for the mice problem that was voiced by other “I rebuke that in the name of Jesus”.... there’s no way in hell I would even give up my damn coins let alone dollars if that was my situation. ** NOW IM NOT SAYING ANYBODY IS LYING** but I personally didn’t experience those problems. Buildings are quiet and maintenance is always up to par, I’m always seeing them damn blue shirts 👕 with the garden hill apartments logo, walking around cleaning and casing the joint. Oh yeah! elevators routinely needs repairs. But overall not the worst experience, actually far from it!

I have been a resident of Garden Hill apartments for a few years and the staff is friendly. When I put a ticket in for maintenance the turnaround time is very quickl and the maintenance is consistent. Andrew Liburdi and Cristina of Garden Hill apartments have also been such a great help to me as well if I had to name a few people. Keep up the good work!

The maintenance people are absolutely useless. My window frame is leaking water Everytime it rains and they dont do anything about it. I guess they wont fix it till the whole thing is rotting and falling apart.

The worst customer relation I have experienced....The manager need to attend a training on how to interact with others in a professional manner...The rest of the staff is rude...excluding the legal person Andy...when you ask for their corporate contact in NYC they state that they are not allowed to give that information.... I recommend to make copies of all you sign and take pictures of before and afters...never again...

Do not ever move here. They do not tell you that they have a mice problem. Exterminators come every other month and set traps that dont really work very well. Even with pest control coming so frequently you can still see mice. They have had many plumbing issues with water leaking into other apts so they have to shut the water off suddenly with no notice and it can be off for a few hours. You have to fight for parking every night. They are not enough spaces for the people who live in the buildings. Good luck parking on the street when the parking lot is full bc that can take anywhere between 5 and 20 min depending on days and times. Building needs some serious updating. Most of the kitchens have an odd setup. They do not replace your carpet, they will just vacuum before you move in. Some of the bathrooms dont even have outlets so good luck ladies with needing to flat iron or curl your hair. If someone is smoking or dropping stinkers in their bathroom the smell will come to yours through the vent. However, I was able to get used to the parking, etc, but the mice are a major problem. Especially if you have a baby learning to walk or crawl you will be scared to put him/her down on the floor. Wouldnt recommend this place at all.

This place is horrible!! They fix nothing! They take forever to do anything IF done! They have mice! Heat and hot water supposibly included yet still not heat! Cant wait to leave soon. I recommend to NOT rent from these people NEVER EVER!

Nasty place to live. Runnnnnn away! The staff are liars. Sigourney st have mice, roaches. And they dont give deposit back, they will do everything to keep your deposit. I have$1400 deposit, they said they will give me $244 on it. I have a 12 months lease, 2 months before my lease ends I went to the office and talk to them about moving out. At the end of the lease they said I gave insufficient notice they took 1 month rent of my deposit and I cleaned the apartment before I moved out, they said they apartment was not professional cleaned the took $297 for cleaning, $32 to replace drip pans... They always say first month rent free, theres no first month rent free they will take it in your deposit. Run, run,runnnn

WORST Apts in Hartford,CT. Left me and my family in a flooded apt for weeks and told me that id have to wait for the landlord to come from out of town before they could move me and mu kid to a safe place. And on top of that took forever to move us into a 1 bedroom knowing I had signed a lease for a 2 bedroom. Plus didnt care to even apologize or show remorse about my damaged property.

I have been living at the garden hills apartment for about 3 years never had a issue the staffs are great especially Andy he’s understanding and go out his way to call if there’s any issue and if I need anything rite away I have no issue when calling them and thanks Andy for going out your way when I have any problem all 5 stars

THIS PLACE DESERVES NO STARS!!The Property Manager is rude and so is the people that works there. They do NOT fix things in a timely manner. Crack heads get high in the hallways, Blood, Condoms, Piss in the stairwells @ 45 Webster street. DO NOT RENT FROM THEM!!! ALL THEIR PROPERTIES ARE THE SAME AND EVEN WORST.

Been here for 3 years no type of issues at all allways a pleasure communicating with Andrew Liburdi great listener very comfortable paying my rent with him very understanding and down to earth And the rest of the staff the maintenance guys like Alex George Joel and Andres allways uptodate with my maintenance in my apartment great workers.

And one of my favorite receptionist kasy allways in top of the invoices for the maintenance guys.

So... ok at 45 Webster. My apartment had a really bad leak during rain storms(that we were not told about even when I asked them about issues with the apartment), my stuff got ruined requested for compensation for my damaged property, said they were protected by something called Gods will basically saying thats the natural flow of water into my aparment 😑. Refused to go on the outside of the building because they dont have a permit to use latters outside Then there were a few cosmetic issues, they slap paint on everything including the counters in my kitchen, floors come up and they put a completely different color and pattern than what was previously applied (ONLY 4 tiles they had to replace). Next they have extra tenants that we pay rent for (mice, roaches and bed bugs) their idea of extermination is feeding rats explosive poison and rot out in a corner somewhere. Last and no least... they jacked up the rent but refuse to fix or address any issues while they completely renovate their empty apartments to trap their next victims.

These apartments in Hartford are over priced and there is no parking. They offer ammenities such as empty nip bottles in the hall ways and plenty of stains on the carpet.Once again this is a good place for anyone who walks it has no parking.

45 Webster street have bedbugs. I had to leave cause of it and they take long to fix anything. Christina one of the agents is rude and unprofessional. Beware and be careful maybe things our different now,but I would never rent from them.

I would give them no star if it was possible. The buildings are disgusting. Crackheads, garbage, condoms, homeless people can always be found inside the building in the stairwell. The maintenance ppl never fix ntn whenever u ask them to. People uses your mailbox/address and the company does ntn to help the situation. The workers at the office are very rude. They raise the rent before notifying you. Oh and when you call the office for assistance or queries they put u on hold then eventually hang up. DO NOT RENT WITH THEM. Leasing agent john is a scammer and a Slick mouth thief.

This is how the doors of the building have been for 2 weeks and neither Andy nor the maintenance guys do ANYTHING, they all have HORRIBLE SERVICE STARTING FROM THE OFFICE! That it is worth paying 800 and that every time it rains the apartment floods and if you lose your things and something is damaged they do not fix it. My apartment, due to the rain on Thursday, AUGUST 19, 2021, the doors were damaged, belongings of my husband and my son and they do nothing. I HAVE BEEN WITH THEM 4 YEARS AGO0 STARSTERRIBLE SERVICE
