I was quoted $150 when they arrived. $70 for parts and $80 for labor. He did the repairs and charged be $70 for parts and $240 for labor. Then said it would be half if I joined their monthly warranty service. He lied. I paid the money to get him out of my home as it was uncomfortable. And Sears won’t refund what they lied about.

The service was horrible. It took over 20 min on the phone with the representative just to schedule the service due to the rep asking the same questions over and over to verify things over 3-5 times. I was having my microwave repaired. Only the door latch was broken, it otherwise worked fine. The repair guy took the microwave apart and put it back together incorrectly. Bad enough he couldnt repair the broken latch but when I tried using it an hour after he left it didnt work at all! It wouldnt turn on. I called the service representative and was told they would try to tell the guy to come back but of course he never did that day so I had to schedule another day for him to come out to fix the problem he caused, taking another day off of work. He never showed up and when I called again the service rep said he was still running late. By then I was fed up and cancelled the appointment. I asked for a refund of the service charge since and was told no. Never again will I go with sears

The Sears repair technician that came to my home to repair our dishwasher was very professional and worked diligently until he got the dishwasher working again. I was very happy with the results. He explained what had been broken with it and made recommendations on the upkeep for longer use.

So disappointed 😞 with your kenmore elite refrigerator. It’s 2 years old and it’s not cooling enough. My foods and milk spoiled really quickly. My ice cream is melting in the freezer. Don’t buy kenmore elite refrigerator. And if you call to fix it it’s so expensive $99 just to check what’s going on. The labor and ect. Extra charge

All of the service techs did a good job of servicing my appliances, especially the service tech for my refrigerator, he did an excellent job, explaining everything he was doing and giving me information that I was unaware of. Other than running late service was ok.

Our repair was not complete. It was on a window unit air conditioner. The parts no longer exist for this air conditioner. We are thinking it will be a new air conditioner is in our future. As for the repairman. He was professional, polite.

The problem was a flat tire on the riding mower. I took the tire off and went to Sears in Harlingen. I was told that I needed to call and make an appointment with my maintenance agreement. I called and was told that it would be 2 weeks before an appointment would be available. That seems to be a long time without my mower.The repair man came on time and did an excellent job doing the repair.

Got a water heater replaced under warrantee (I hope), but getting it done was a left hand doesnt know what the right hand is doing situation. When I tried to call the local store, I got transfered to two other people who wanted to start the process all over again and the second one was from some foreign land. Heater could not be delivered OR installed. I was told Id get $210.00 toward plumbers fees to install. Its not over yet and if I get a bill Ill be VERY unhappy.

If you are at all handy with basic repairs, buy your replacement parts on amazon and install them yourself. Sears is RIDICULOUS in what it charges for labor. I had them come to replace my broken ice maker. They charged me $59 dollars to open the door and look inside and say Your icemaker is broken. That is their Diagnostic Fee! Then they charged another $160 dollars for the 10 minutes of labor it took to unplug the old ice maker and plug the new one in. By the time they added taxes on all their labor and diagnostic fees it was almost twice the price of the part by itself. Just to top things off, I waited 3 days for it to make ice before I realized the repairman left it turned off when he was finished. Never Again Sears!

I called about service and was told I needed to talk to technician online before an appt could be given. I explained the issue to the tech, my oven was not heating up and would not reach pre-heat temp. Told by the tech that he knew what the problem was and that a part should arrive at my home and was schedule for appt. A base for the baking element was shipped to my residence. At the appt, the tech discovered the problem was not the baking element, but the controller (the usual problem over 90% of the time) and ordered the controller and rescheduled my appt. The controller arrived and the tech changed the controller and the oven heated up nicely. I told the tech to see what the 1st package was for and he told me that it was the base tray at the bottom of the oven and the element was not even shipped. This tray would not have solved my heating problem. I would strongly suggest that a tech should make an initial visit before shipping anything, especially when the correct part is not shipped and I have to take 2 days of work off to be with the tech. I dont see how the online tech shipping the tray (it wasnt even the same color) would have helped. I am really satisfied with the professionalism that both service techs demonstrated on each visit. They really know what they are doing. The online tech should be questioned on why he shipped me a tray. It is what gives SEARS a bad reputation. By the way, my appliance was covered by a service agreement. If it wasnt, I would have to have paid for a wrong part and 2 service visits. Not cool.
