My 2008 car was having troubles, so I went to Coastal VW to see what they could do. The old car had quite a bit of money still for me to pay. I live by myself on SSI, and 2 pensions, so this was going to be challenging. They drove my car and it started breaking down temperature high, stearing wheel was wobbling when breaks applied, and then the transmission was making noise, and the tires and breaks started to grind. They told me the truth ... as they shuttled me and took pictures and told me: You cant go back in this car! It will never get you home.SO, they went to work on which car is affordable and durable and safe.Much to my surprise they found the perfect car. Affordable! 2018! Ready for me to get in and back home again SAFELY!Thats my story and Im sticking too it!

We had a great experience. The car buying process is never something that you look forward to, but it helps to feel like you are dealing with good people, and our salesman Chris, sales manager John, and finance manager Amanda were all nice people, low pressure sales, and great communicators. The pricing matched my research, and the financing was great.

Do not buy or sell here. Bought a pre-owned vehicle, drove off lot, realized there was scored marks in windshield from previous driver. Waited 2 hours for them to tell me they couldn’t help, suggest I should have noticed this, and then offer me a $25 discount on accessories. They should be embarrassed. Horrible way to treat a customer.

I made a confirmed Saturday appointment for my daughter to drive down from Boston to preview a specific vehicle (I live out of state). It was an hour drive each way. The car was not available/not on the lot when she arrived and would not be available until Tuesday or Wednesday of the next week. I called the dealership and waited 30 minutes for a manager to call me back about this, before I called again. The Coastal Nissan manager had to go over to the VW dealership and bring the VW manager to talk with my daughter (didnt call me). After waiting an hour to try to work out the problem, she left without any apology from the manager. The vehicle price also went up $1,000 soon thereafter, from $28, 808 (have a screenshot of the page) to $29,808.

Had multiple conversations with the internet sales team to confirm my appointment for a test drive. Arrived promptly in an effort to respect their time. The sales rep was friendly and helpful, but the vehicle was not ready for testing. “I didn’t even know this car was at this location.” Not what I had arranged and rather frustrating. More to the point, masks seemed to be optional for those operating the showroom space, unless they were face to face with a client. Less than confidence inspiring. I get it, it has been a long year. But wear your mask. Not thrilled with the experience, and would recommend stricter compliance with CDC guidance and better intra-agency communication to prepare for a test drive scheduled a day in advance in order to earn my business.

My experience with Chris Ryan, John Wyman and Amanda Cruz was very welcoming and efficient.This isnt always the case with a lot of other dealerships, but Coastal is one of the best.Even with the Pandemic times we are currently embroiled in, many dealerships have little stock and this reflects in responsiveness.What stock is available comes without good pricing.Sales Consultant, Chris Ryan never used this as leverage or to Coastals advantage.I received a deal that I believe is very good given the current advantageous sellers market and would recommend Chris to anyone currently in the throes of vehicle hunting.

The worst! Brought my car in for an oil change and got a diagnostic test which suggested $3K worth of service and repairs would be needed. I took the car to WCS Automotive whose technicians located the problem (not the problem I was given at VW) and repaired it for less than half the estimated cost.Worse than their inaccurate diagnostic is their customer service. The responsible manager has been “on the other line” or “away” for weeks now.The service reps are very nice to work with though, provided you understand that the info may be incorrect and they’re never going to actually get back to you.

This was my first time buying a brand new car but Coastal VW could not have made it easier to find exactly what I was looking for. Evan was super accommodating with scheduling as well as really listening to the features I wanted and showed me a car that perfectly fit my needs. He safely showed me all the features of the vehicle and special nuances to it so that I was later comfortable test driving the vehicle on my own (in order to socially distance). Once I decided on the car, he explained my payments clearly and worked hard to get me the best deal possible. Went in to this dealership to look into purchasing a vehicle. Ron was the sales person who helped us. He asked what features Id be interested in I mentioned a few things that were non-negotiable and mentioned a few other things that would be nice but not necessary like a sunroof. I also asked whether remote start was an option but didnt make any indication I had to have it.Ron then proceeded to tell me he didnt have any cars at the level I was looking at for me to test drive but then miraculously found one after a few minutes. I took a test drive and then came back to sit down with Ron to discuss numbers. He asked me if I wanted leather seats and I told him it didnt matter, probably not to which he came back with such an attitude saying something along the lines of well you told me you wanted all the features like remote start and sunroof and now you dont care?I told him that he misunderstood what I had said, that I thought those things would be nice but were not must-haves. Then he told me he didnt have any cars to sell me at all. Maybe he would in two weeks but he wouldnt give us any pricing info. He told me he could give me pricing if I wanted to pay full retail, to which we said of course we would want the lowest price. He told us again he had no cars so we said basically you just wasted our time and he said I guess so. Ridiculous. Terrible service. Even if I do decide the VW car is right from me, I would never let Ron get the business from it. We will go to a different VW dealership instead. So rude.

I made an early appointment for a recall on my 2018 Tiguan. I realized I had mistakenly thought it was the next day rather than what I made it for and was already a half hour behind. I called service and explained my mistake to Aaron. He was very understanding and said to bring it in anyway and they would take care of it while I waited. When I arrived he greeted me and took all the info for me right away and the service was complete in the time frame he said it would be. I was on my way with very little difference in overall time. Great customer service and very professional.

Really pleased with my recent experience at Coastal.I just purchased a 2014 TDI Jetta and the experience was seamless. I dealt primarily with John, who was super helpful and Ron followed up over a minor issue (needed a spare key). Ive been to the service department and everyone was helpful and communicative.

I had inquired about a 2021 VW Atlas they have in stock and had Brian reach out to me with pricing and financing options. I had this conversation continued with Adam (if I recollect) and when I mentioned we live in New Jersey there was a change of tone and they said they cannot pursue the financing options since it takes 2-3 months to get car registered in New Jersey. I asked what about the temporary tags and he said Oh we dont do those in our dealership so the only way this can work is if you buy the car in cashDont know what type of shady excuse is that because I had reached out to other dealerships in MA and none of them had issue providing temporary tags.

He was very quick to respond to my inquiry about a Certified Pre-Owned GTI, gave me his personal number to contact, and we settled on a purchase and trade in price via text with no real need for back and forth haggling.
