Wanted to get away for mothers day and this was my first time renting a car for a day trip. made a reservation through another company but reservation was accidentally cancelled. at 9 AM contact Hertz and they inform us they have a car available for myself and my children. i originally planned for a Chevy at the other location but Hertz had a Cadillac available when we arrived. what started out to be a bit of a disappointing morning ended up being the beginning of a very relaxing and much needed trip to the coast. store clean, inviting, staff professional, car well cleaned. plan to go here again for future car rental needs. great location. right off the highway. dining close by and great local shopping

Worst customer service. It started off with me showing up to pick up my car after making reservations days before. So I asked for an upgrade and he refused to. He had told me that I could call or come back in a few hours to see if they had anything. I asked for a down grade and my military discount. He immediately came at me saying we dont do military discounts without official orders that my military ID doesnt safice. Shortly after that I had suggested near by location that I could get my car. He had told me I could call around. I immediately told him he could call them because thats his job. He had finally called visalia and had said they had a car available for me.

First off let me start with not only did the shop keep my car for 2 months within the last 2 months I’ve had 3 rentals and have received nothing but phenomenal service. Liza has helped me every time in the Hanford office.... does she get a day off? Everytime she has made sure to put me in a rental that I approve of I’m kind of picky because I need room and she has been such a great help with getting me into a vehicle fast and speedy. I travel all over and I’ve never had a representative like Liza who takes such good care of her customers! You guys if you need a car for an affordable price with A1 customer service go see Liza at Hertz. Let her know Laporsha Sent you! I never imagined having to go through these couple of months without my car but Liza has made the process so smooth. Thank you Liza! ❤️

I rented the vehicle from this business a few weeks back. I returned the vehicle on a Friday morning. Saturday morning I realized I left my limited edition Oakley sunglasses in the sunglasses holder in that vehicle. When I called the business the following Monday (not opened on the weekends) it was reported to me that the vehicle had already been rented out and that my glasses were not in the lost and found. The gentleman at the desk told me he would call me back when the vehicle was returned. He did not call me back. I called the business back today and was told that my sunglasses were not in the lost and found, and that the car was apparently thoroughly checked after I had dropped it off. I was also told that theyre not responsible 4 items left in vehicles. So either my sunglasses grew legs and walked off, or the staff at Hertz in Hanford have no integrity. Unless this business gets my glasses back, or repays me in some other fashion I wont be using their service.

We were driving on the 5 to a wedding when our car started misfiring. I found Hanford was the closest car rental agency so we called and they did the paperwork over the phone then delivered the car to us at Pep Boys (who they had recommended for our car). We were able to continue our trip with minimal inconvenience and even made the wedding on time! Top-notch service by the employees that day! Our car was even fixed by the next day and we were able to do the after-hours drop off of the rental car. They saved the day!

Sneaky slippery salesman, Very rude. Not very smart, do not inform you of hidden fees.Tried to run my credit.I guess i did not look like i had credit cards. I rented a car for 2 days, I called the next day and payed for 2 more, I took it back on time. and they charged me a $12.00 late fee, then when I called them, they put me on hold forever, I had to hang up and call back. Just to tell me because I modified my reservation I get charged a $12.00 late fee. Shouldnt that be modified reservation fee? Need to get all new people!!!!

I had rented from them twice prior to this experience. We book through AAA travel and pay a head of time to ensure a rental would be available. This weekend I needed a vehicle due to mine needing maintenance and I was headed out of town. I got to the shop and realized that I did not have my license with me (it was a bad day) so I left the shop understanding that they could not give me the car with out my license. My car gave out on me, I needed to be in Fresno and I had to be at work til 3 the next day and I live an hour away from Hanford. When I arrived on Friday (next day after work) to pick up the vehicle I prepaid for I was told that they did not have the vehicle for me and stated that they told my sister that I had until 9am to pick it up. I dont understand how they could have a prepaid car rental and then rent it to someone else. When I asked for my money back they stated they never charged me and I would have to deal with AAA for a refund. I called AAA and they assisted me in getting my refund but I have to wait approx 10 days. Thankfully I went Around the block and rented from Enterprise. My stepdad works with AAA as a tow driver and was with me at the time, Im happy to say Enterprise will be recommended over hertz to all his customers after the stunt they pulled. To all who rent there be careful you might catch them on one of these days and you will be left stranded and stressed.

I came in to rent a car and I believe the man who help was the main supervisor at the hanford store well there was only 2 cars to rent hertz had a Camaro oh it was so awesome but I told the supervisor I cant afford this and the next thing I new he said you have the Camaro I SAID WHAT REALLY he said its ure OH WOW I WAS SO HAPPY 😊 IF THIS MAN IS STILL THERE U WAS BIG WORE GLASSES AND WAS VERY NICE I dont know if u are still at the hanford store or transferred but Id like to come in an see u u was better than a best friend Again I Say Thank You.

After years of renting from Hertz Im done. All it took was 1 hertz employee at the Hanford office to steer me clear of hertz. Ive never delt with such unprofessionalism and I certainly wont again at least not by doing business with Hertz. After years of renting through Hertz and purchasing my last 2 vehicles through Hertz car sales, Im done! The female employee that I delt with was beyond rude and unprofessional and obviously lacks training. Never should an employee chastise any customer in front of other customers rather if there appears to be an issue she should know to quietly address whatever it may be privately and in a professional way. That was not my experience.

Unethical. My car was at an autobody shop that has an arrangement with Hertz in Hanford, CA so I used them, setting things up over the phone.1. This location included the liability-damage-wavier (LDW) without my written or verbal consent! I spoke to Chris, the assistant manager, about removing the LDW as my personal insurace covers such things. Chris gave me an option to bring the car back or he could remove the LDW but I would still pay the same amount! I took the car back.2. I then looked at the Service Charges/closing bill and they charged me for not 2 days, but 3. I didnt take possession of the car until 4PM but they stated 11:39 AM on the closing bill. Like most people, I was at that morning. Fact, I brought the car back to them at 4 PM waited 15-20 minutes for my turn and was then checked out by someone who had been washing cars and had to repeat the check-out process twice to get it right.3. I hadnt used Hertz in many years but they were good then. I cant say that of the way the Hanford location does business. Its not always what you do, but how you do it. I work in healthcare and if I did a proceedure without someones consent, at a minimum , it would be considered unethical.J. Jones
