I try to avoid shopping here when possible... customer service has gotten better, however it is Always busy with extremely long lines. This is an older much smaller location with the tightest most congested aisles, it’s difficult to shop with a cart on busy days. My main gripe is how they don’t seem prepared for the flow of customers on a daily basis...it’s next to impossible to properly social distance with so many people in the store and only 3 checkout lanes open packed to the brim with people...I was so annoyed and concerned of how long I spent waiting in line for one item! Be prepared to open ALL checkout lanes to disperse the amount of customers in this store please!!

I am calling the health department and corporate on this dollar tree. There are way too many people allowed to shopping in this small store during this pandemic, I couldn’t even go down an aisle because the lines are constantly backup. I do not feel comfortable shopping here at all. This will be my last time coming to this dollar tree.

I walked right in, there was not a crowd or anything. Saw some friends, and was looking for nasal spray for my allergies. All the staff had masks on and were wearing gloves. All the customers were trying to do social distancing while shopping and while waiting in checkout line. Found what I needed and line moved quickly. Im glad they are building another one on the corner of briarfield and aberdeen. A good experience overall.

On Monday, April 1st, my husband and I visited this store. There was only 1 lady checking everyone out, and she was doing the very best she could. The line was EXTREMELY long. Someone in line asked the woman if she could call for help which she did. She called the manager and he said he was busy right then but he would come out and help her shortly. He NEVER came. This is unacceptable! Customers are always first, and you would think a manager in retail would know that!! Then a lady comes from the end of the line, goes up to a customer checking out and says, I will give you cash money if you ring my stuff up with yours!! What is going on in this store?? Finally, after about 15 minutes a girl, not the manager, came out to help the older lady ring up customers. This was the worst visit EVER! Someone needs to have a chat with that manager!

I shop at this Dollar Tree often & I find everything I need there . The WORKERS there are kind, helpful,& polite to the customers.

Its a dollar store. Has great items for an even greater price. Customer service is great. The staff is always smiling with no attitudes. Thats always a bonus in my book.

While the store was nice and clean, the customer service has a lot to be desired. Was checking out at the register, and the cashier would rather talk to her friend then acknowledge us.

Can always find what I need. A new book. Knickknacks or even solutions to my crazy ideas of home decorating. Using solar stakes as sconces in my library!!

Typical Dollar Tree store Great Value great staff only problem with this store is the fact that they do not have a refrigerated section. No Frozen Foods no metes no nothing just dry goods and household items. An upgrade with a refrigerated section would make this store 100%

Always a long line when I come to this place. Yet again I came in this morning around 1030. And walked out place all my items back on the shelf and walked out because the line was across the aisle and they only had one register open I did not have time to wait I came back at 2 and they had two lines open and the lines were across the aisle again. I have no idea why Dollar tree,s have so many registers when they never keep enough employees staffed to stop inconveniencing in the customer with long lines . Id rather go to Target, go through the self-checkout and not have to deal with the BS and pay more money

Im just a HAPPY HAPPY customer all the time ...now they need to add a Frozen food section just like most of the other Dollar Tree stores around Hampton/Newport News. ..and i would only visit this particular store because its close to my house!! But otherwise Im good and I love Dollar Tree♡!!

Good visit to Dollar Tree. Had a lot of products that my Dollar tree does not have.

This Dollar tree always seems to have less employees for the loads of the heavy flow hours of Patrons. Lines always long, had only two line open at 6:30pm on a friday. So it might be a place of high rent? But they always seem to have different things than other dollar trees. No fridge section here. Have to go to the on off Big Bethel Rd for that. But never dissatisfied here, just a long wait.

This dollar tree has it all. I went there for one thing and came out with 12. They have vitamins and name brand things as well. Really have a large selection of things for the kitchen as well.

I love Dollar Tree. Especially the one on Warwick Blvd, because they have everything!! I wish the Dollar Tree in Coliseum Central had everything like the one on Warwick.

I stood in line for 20 min while 3 people where stocking shelves 1 person at the counter. Left my card in the car asked the person at the register if I could sit my things down came back they had my stuff back I left went to Dollar general it might cost more but at least you get more than a dollar worth of service. Highly irritated

Today the cashier in the 3rd row was not good she didnt wrap the glass with paper and when I asked her she gave me the paper to wrap it. Should have stayed home if she didnt want to work.

You should be able to get on the map if u dont have the internet.On the other hand its very helpful for when u dont have a gps.

Erica was very rude and stood there arguing with me for about 5 mins. Highly unprofessional! I work for dollar tree as well and would never treat my customers how she treated me. Also, she wore a scarf to work. Is that even allowed???
