I live in the same town as this shop, and had taken my 1996 Lexus LX 450 for an engine repair and exhaust replacement. I had the car towed to their yard. We had conversations about my expectations and the fact that this was not a daily driver. The hope was that they would squeeze it in between bigger jobs etc. great, or so I thought. The car sat in their yard for more than three months and I believe they only worked on it because after numerous calls and attempts to contact them and establish a date for the work- I mentioned that this was my winter driver. By this time there was snow on the ground. I get it that they make most of their $ doing $100k restorations, but if you can’t or dont want the work- don’t accept it. Bottom line is that expectations were never met and communication was the worst I ever experienced. Not sure I would take my $100k restoration there, as I fear it would vanish into a black hole- never to be returned. Too bad really. I am always a fan of specialty vendors with narrow and specialized services- but I expect more - because I know I will pay more.Lesson learned.

Ive had Cruiser Solutions perform general maintenance on a few different Land Cruisers for re-sale last year 2019. They always did a wonderful job! High-quality work and great customer service. Matt and Tedd are detailed oriented.

Cruiser Solutions went above and beyond my expectations for my restoration. They asked that I post a comment on Google and I am happy to do this for Tedd. My family now has a Land Cruiser my kids will inherit. We love our like new Troop Carrier!

I purchased an older FJ45 Pickup and Cruiser Solutions was the most reputable place to restore them from all the research i did - so i sent it and crossed my fingers. I was really excited, but also anxious to see the results to be honest, but Im this way with anything new. They did such a great job, it was exactly what i wanted. I would say to check them out for sure. Look for it on Nantucket Island.

I feel that watching restoration videos is a must. Especially if you are a cruiser guy like me! I honestly cannot get enough of this stuff. I am fascinated. Cruiser solutions is doing some awesome custom work.

Ordered and paid for a frame in January 2019. After about a month went and ordered and paid for suspension and complete body. At that time Ted told me frame was being shippedHad a couple of questions about body and called Ted. Never returned my call or e-mail. So I called Aqualu directly. They told me they didn’t have a frame on order for Ted. Again Ted didn’t return calls or emails. So after about 6 weeks body and frame showed up but not as I ordered. Called Aqualu again and was told frame and body were order together. unethical Ted Side stepped answering when confrontedI didn’t get suspension that I ordered either.Unethical Ted shouldn’t sell parts and stick to restorations which look first class. The guys in shop were greatHad a few questions and unethical Ted told me I’m on my own

I would say I trust Cruiser Solutions to do a great job no matter the condition of your Land Cruiser. Let me tell you - my FJ60 was in pretty bad shape, and that’s putting it lightly. They brought it back to life. Matt has been great to talk with about the process. Yeah, they are a bit pricey, but I have learned that you get what you pay for in restoration land.

I enjoy watching their videos. I cant wait to get some restoration work done on my cruiser.

Cruiser solutions has done plenty of work to our families Cruisers in the past. He does extremely good, and quality work. The price is sometimes high, but other than that, we have not had a complaint yet.
