There were a lot of issues when I came to get the uhaul truck Id reserved. The lady who was helping me was nice but there were a lot of issues that had come up with my rental that u felt she could have just informed me about but didnt. For example apparently there was a new policy that was not in affect when I placed my order that renting a oneway could no longer be done for more than 24 hours. Instead of just saying that she said she didnt have a truck available had to call the owner. Dont get me wrong they tried to fix this they had called around looking for a truck that I could use and when they found one in Greencastle I thought Id be in my way. But that was not the case. The owner had sent me on my way to get the truck saying that everything would be ready to go down there. I get there and t the guy had no idea what I was there, said he hadnt heard anything about me coming and didnt have an knowledge of what the situation was. Once I explained everything that happened this gentle man ended up canceling my reservation and stated the whole transaction over again from scratch. What should have be a 10 minute event ending up taking an hour all because of poor communication.

The worst experience I have ever had with u haul. The guy working the counter was very rude and wanted to question me on why I was a few minutes late as if he was my parent. Worst place I have ever been to. If you need a u haul I suggest using U-Haul on Shawley drive Hagerstown. These people were so rude. Please stay away from here. Do not rent from here.

I borrowed one of the cargo vans for a from this place and it was awesome! It was my last resort to use a U-Haul but Im glad I did. The people here were so friendly and I was expecting to pay an arm and a leg for mileage since I was traveling to Philly and back. the first hundred miles were included in the one day charge and the rest was at a discounted rate. I only paid less than half what I anticipated. Thank you Guys!

Best place to go for vehicle repair or U-haul. appointments not 100% necessary. They will work with your schedule. Great service

They work on cars also. My friend had front end complete. work done ball joints on both sides and other work on the front end. Paid over 700.00 dollars but only put ball joints on one side. Said it was a typography erron had to pay another 240.00. dollars. I would not trust them again.

My experience at this place was so traumatic it took me years to post here. They had no idea what truck was rented to who. Their computers were down. The owner called the police on a customer because he said she stole a post-it from his desk. It had a credit card authorization for another customer on it. He called the police again on another customer, because he had given them the wrong truck. He called them and accused them of stealing the truck he gave them the keys and paperwork for. This place is awful, avoid at all costs.

The 2 people working there seemed to be confused. I reserved a 10ft box truck for 10 am. I came in at 10 and was told it wasnt there but they can give me a pickup truck. I said that was way too small and they said that I should leave and they would call me in 1 hour. I had to call them back after an hour and they seemed to not remember me. I explained the situation and they put me on hold. They came back and said the computer was showing that I already picked up the truck. I told her that was impossible. She then put me on hold again then came back and told me she talked to my wife and she picked it up. I told them I dont have a wife so that couldnt of been me. She put me on hold one more time then a man answered and I asked him if he had the truck ready and he said he did and to come get it. When I got there, they acted like they didnt remember me and the lady was somewhat confused with the paperwork. I had people waiting on me that day and I had to delay everything by almost 2 hours because of these people. Very unacceptable and I will go to another truck rental company in the future.

Customer service was brash somewhat inpatient but more to the point the 26-foot GMC box truck that I rented had some serious mechanical issues. The front left tire bounced up and down so bad at 60 to 65 miles an hour that it pushed me into the adjacent Lane even at 55 miles an hour the vehicle continue to do this bouncing from the front left tire I called and made them aware of this while I was driving just before I got to my storage locker I pulled off the road to let them know the response was that it was typical for a truck of this age to have this type of issue, well I dont know where most people come from in this world but in our world we call that a crock of hooey and the brake on the right side squealed no matter what speed we were traveling when it was applied. All of the truck was clean and had fairly low mileage about 176000 miles this type of truck which I believe was a 5500 series is it need of serious maintenance and should not be put on the road my bill was for $39.95 for one day and I traveled a total 48 miles and was charged $89.95 for 6 hours. Overpriced overcharged equipment was unsafe and the attendant was brash. I will make my reservations in Future with another U-Haul dealer.

Had a frustrating experience with uhaul corporate moving my reservation but they were very understanding. Excellent service.
