She was very responsive to each of my questions and very patient with me as this was my first time purchasing a new vehicle.After visiting other Toyota dealerships, I found her going straight to the point and being very transparent in what I was getting. I had bad experiences when buying my car in that place, first the seller offers you extra accessories to hook up and once the car is sold they do not comply, I went to complain to the general sales manager Mario Puentes and he turns a deaf ear and covers up the employees He also offers you apologies and in exchange for a refund of money but he also does not comply, in short, a terrible place to buy I do not recommend (0 ⭐) if there is someone in that company that if he listens to my case I even have proof of everything.

I have been a customer at this Toyota for 5 years. I believe the service center is quite good, but lacks somewhat in warm greeting and friendly customer service. There sales department could use some improvement. They need sales representatives truly interested in helping the customer and not just interested in their commission!! Ana is very professional and friendly to work with. Seamless process overall. I am very happy with her service. Would totally recommend anyone to ask for Ana for their purchase. You will be in good hands. Ana gave me multiple test drives of the same vehicle(Supra 3.0) when other dealerships were not offering a test drive of some vehicles less than half its price(Honda Civic Type R) .Special shout out to Paulo Almeida for helping me out with the delivery of the vehicle. 5* Sales, I am very happy.Unfortunately that is not the same with the finance department. WATCH OUT!!!!I work as a Data Scientist for a finance company. I dont think they knew that and thought I was a noob (I am a recent graduate and may be that painted a picture of a scape goat?). The loan options they presented to me was predatory and a complete rip off. I understand we are all here to do business and make money, but these were unacceptable standards.Overall, sales is one of the best experiences. Walk in with your own finance options and you will be good to go.

Very disappointedI didnt want to write my terrible experience with the purchase of 2 cars .. I called many times and approached the dealership to solve this problem and nothing. 7 months have passed ... I contacted directly the manager Mario Puentes he gave me many excuses. Wait for the next week .. so far now is over 7 months have passed and now he doesnt wants to answer calls or messages ... I have been passive and respectful ...I bought 2 toyota highlander 2021 ...1 car is for my brother, he has 4 children and needs a car to take them to school and more places ...Its the first time that I buy a new car in a dealership and the salesman promised us 3 gifts. Carpets, the alarm system and roof rack.. they asked us to leave the cars for 1 day for the installation ... and then They told us to come back next week for the technician to install the alarm system .At the time I recommended my other brother to buy a third car for him ... the seller ordered it ... because it was a nice price offer... when his car arrived and We put the vin number of the car on the toyota online page, it was cheaper than the salesman told us ... so we went to another dealership and we realized that the 3 gifts that the salesman offered us are included in the car. We complained to the salesman and he did not know what to say, also his treatment was rude .. on the third car my brother downloaded the toyota app from his phone and installed the remote start himself ... the salesman said that they installed it at the dealer by them technician but we realized that came installed in the car by manufacturer and they are two different things .. (remote start & alarm system)…the salesman offer us alarm system..then we spoke with the manager Mario Puentes and he said that he will solve the problem and we spoke with the salesman and he denied us the gift of the alarm .. then the manager didnt wants to take charge, he didnt wants to give us the alarm system and He solve it with a credit of $ 300 for each car..this store they have bad customer service and when it is possible to buy a car they they behave indifferent and are dishonestI feel that the salesman cheated me so much in the price of the cars and gifts and he sells the cars unscrupulously based on lies and they do not want us to be held responsible for the offers they give.. Im very disappointed

I have been going to the Hackensack Toyota dealership for years now and they provide excellent service! The cars are very good, incredible reliability, and decent prices. I was helped by Miriam on my latest purchase and she was really great! I wanted a CHR and she knew all the specs and found the exact model I wanted with the specs and features I needed! Thank you Miriam and thank you Toyota of Hackensack!The oil changes are great here too. Nice waiting area inside. Free hot chocolate and free car wash. Power outlets to charge laptops and phones. Comfy seats. TV and a free arcade game with multiple classic 80s games.

Let’s start off with the experience was okay with the sales person Ariel. I would buy a car from him but the manager is What pushed me into a 1 star review was when I asked for the manager on the date of 1/26/2020. I was told that β€œhe doesn’t have time to waste”.I feel like as a consumer a manager should always make time when requested. His actions were unprofessional so I walked out. They have three cars with the price of 18,995 but the one I wanted was crashed in the bumper. Was not as displayed.I understand it’s a loaner but the manager refused to have any leniency with the price. The photos online were not as displayed. I wouldn’t have fought the price if the bumper was good just like the other three cars. See photos.Ultimately Ariel did a great job.

Nick at the service department was awesome and super helpful. Made me feel comfortable and at ease. Pretty much the majority of people I interacted with from service department were all cool, friendly and helpful. Nick just went the extra mile cause i think he can tell I was nervous, and worried about being over charged. Which I was not overcharged. Thank goodness. All and all I definitely recommend Toyota of Hackensack and Nick from the service department. All of the service department thank you. This is horrible dealership. They don’t have any answers and are completely unhelpful. I ordered a car and they cannot tell me where the vehicle is. I have to constantly call them rather than them giving any updates. They gladly took the deposit money to hold the car. They told me that the car is going to be on hold for me. Now they cannot provide any information on where the car is. Do not deal with this dealer or Jose Rodriguez or Ariel from Sales

My husband and I had a great experience here at Toyota Hackensack. Melissa was the one who took care of us and she is was so pleasant to talk to. She made the process smooth and easy and on top of that, she gave the best price for us. She laid everything out and explained the breakdown of the costs. Stumbled upon Toyota of Hackensack looking to trade in my Audi. We were greeted by Miriam, and were so happy we found her! At the time, there was no car in stock, but Miriam got me a great value for my trade in value, and secured an incoming car for me. Some of the best customer service that I have ever experienced. Due to the chip shortage I had a very difficult time finding the exact car that I had been looking for. This car is for my teenage son. After asking several times about the mechanical condition of the car I was told excellent shape, the mechanics didnt find anything wrong with it. Drove 3 hours to pick it up, drove back home to find out the clutch was slipping, the thermostat was clogged with rusty coolant, the brake lines were rusted, the slave cylinder was shot, it barely held idling, a hole in the exhaust system (see attached photo) and a cracked CV boot (see attached photo) . I contacted the dealer to let them know, they didnt even call me back. I was left with a car full of issues, I now have to spend more money to get it fixed. I was expecting honesty from a dealer of that caliber and presence. I dont get how they let customers drive away in an unsafe car. Why would someone run a business like that?

Easy appointments through their website, prompt check-in process, friendly and helpful staff, and they deliver as communicated. If you decide to wait, their facilities are spacious and comfortable. If you decide to pick-up, communication is clear and concise. I believe they even have huttle service though I did not take advantage of it. Great experience and I will continue to come to them for service. I also plan to purchase my next vehicle from them when the time comes.

Read the negative reviews carefully and DO NOT GO HERE. While most of their sales team may be nice and no pressure, its the finance dept you have to watch out for. They WILL pressure you into long-term contract, bully you into unnecessary extended services but cannot answer what they cost. No really, they will not and cannot answer what those extra services cost. They dont return calls and you will be left paying for car thats worth FAR less than what you paid for. My car is less than a year old and I regret it every day.Do what I shouldve done and go to Garden State Honda (my second choice). My cousin and co-worker listened to me and have bought their cars there. Wish I could go back in time.

Sales people are not very responsive. I bought all of my cars from them but for some reason when I was looking for a new car, they are not too interested. Made several calls and I am able to get a response from their manager and one of the sales person but after our first discussion, they have not called back on the items we have discussed. I even called and left messages and they have not responded. Ive decided to go to East Coast Toyota and I was able to buy the car that I wanted. I hope their senior management reads this feedback since they just lost a loyal customer.

My car kept getting a new problem every time I went!I came to the service section for a sound my car was making and I know nothing of cars to go to another shop. The first time it was the brakes, then the water filter(?), then my tires. And now it’s the splash guard dragging. I thought I wasn’t going to get scammed but no repair shop is safe. Also, I made sure to ask for a diagnostics test to get a list of all problems with my car and none of these came up.

Horrible and Unprofessional Customer Service.I came to them to order new Toyota. Sales person started to add to MSRP additional fees. Some of them were regular (like registration), some just optional, which he declined to remove. When I decided to think about them a bit and check with other dealers around, that sales person became very upset, arrogant and rude. Completely unacceptable and unprofessional behavior. When dealership keeps such sales people they will loose customers and orders. I left them, drove 15 mins to other dealership and left deposit for a new car there.

Made an appointment yesterday to have 1 tire available today for a tire change. After an hour of waiting susana says they don’t have the tire and I have to come back another day that the tire isn’t here. Re-checks and finds the tire. Then I wait another 2 hours. At this point I’ve been there for 3 hours for 1 tire change. I told her I don’t even want the wash since I’ve been here so long she tells me next time to call parts. No, it’s not my fault where the person that picks up transfers me to. That’s not what u tell a customer. After all that they didn’t even fill the new tire with air and now its 22 less then the rest …seriously do better.

I’m a regular here since I bought my car a few times at this place. This time, under a warranty, I left my car here for repainting. However, I’ve called a few times after 3 weeks since they said that my car will be ready to go soon, but they started to ignore me every time I called them. Right now, one month has passed, and I still don’t have my car back! I’ve had another experience a few months ago where they told me that I have to fix my tire, but after fixing it, I realized that my tire did not need fixing at all. They just stole my money. I’m not buying my car here next time. I don’t recommend this place to anyone unless you want to be ignored.

Would like to explain my experience today at Toyota of Hackensack.I received this text message from them offering to buy my vehicle that was listed on Craigslist. I brought my vehicle in and was told it does not start right and does not run right and their offer is $200 and its suggested I take it.The vehicle is a 2009 Honda accord with under 100k miles and it was listed for $6900.The young girl who approached me was the most rude and arrogant person Ive ever met at a dealership. Toyota of Hackensack calls people in to humiliate them intront of people and they lie your vehicle has problems that it does not have. The used car manager Alex is a complete scam artist who tries to rip you off. If they are not interested they should just say they are not interested and not make up stories that does not exist. Go to another dealership and get better service and treatment.

All I can say is the reviews were completely accurate!Upon arrival I was immediately greeted. Ana Mayers worked with me to put together my new 4Runner build. She did not try and sell me something I didnt want; instead she worked toward understanding exactly what options and color I wanted. She then outlined what the next steps are and what the expected timeline for receiving my new vehicle would be. Ana kept me updated throughout the build wait time. When the vehicle arrived at the dealership she worked with me to prepare the necessary documents for finalizing the purchase remotely via text and email.When it was time to pick up my new vehicle I was nearly in and out within an hour. I cant say enough about the team at Toyota of Hackensack. The salesman from toyota lie to the customer to close the deal ..I was told they were selling me a new demo car each mean one of manager was using car. for the whole while I was asking for car fax and salesman dont worry man i get you after you sign there paper.ok that car fax was never given to me.so on next day i went to the manager ,so that was when my salesman john ramier i think that how his name is told that car was sold but the ladies gave back the car because her husband pass away of covid 19 ..ok so i was tricked because he told was demo and this is not even the beginning after i found out about all this. they told me after i asked since the car had a previous owner i dont get 25 thousand free service each is oil change for free..my advise to anyone who wish go to this dealership is be careful they are not people that you can trust in my opinion they are just like that phone call from scam like..be careful when go there they are not a good people that was a 55 thousand dollars tundra the i bought new, with no free service that every new car has..so this was my bad experience with this place. i will never buy a car there ever ever ever again dishonest people.

The entire service staff and managers are extraordinarily professional, knowledgeable, and honest, which is difficult to find with Toyota/Lexus dealers in the Northern New Jersey region. Meriam helped me get my car and so was incredibly wonderful! She is very responsive to questions, and worked really hard to find me a car with a manual transmission that I wanted (she eventually found the car I wanted, over a hundred miles away and had it brought to Hackensack for me!). PROS: This is the greatest dealership I ever set foot in. The customers are friendly there, the staff is always wanting to help, and my salesperson-Armando is a very trustworthy guy who I became friends with over time. I bought my Corolla from them and there wasnt any unusual problems with it. The layout is great in a newly renovated building, the bathrooms are clean, and theres even a childrens play area. Plus the fact they have a lot with over 400 cars...biggest lot of any dealerCONS: Despite saying they honor true car value I had to fight with them to honor the price of my car quoted on the website. I also witness the mechanics telling customers that they need new parts when the customer really doesnt, that way they can make money. In their showroom, there really isnt anything to interesting. Its just a bunch of pre-owned cars, never usually anything new & interesting.OVERALL: I definitely would recommend this dealer to any Toyota fan! They have the staff, they have the largest inventory selection, and the atmosphere and the customers are nice. The mechanics have to speed up the process of routine check ups and they have to stop cheating people out of their money, but overall, its great.

Purchased a vehicle from this dealership about a month ago. I was dealing with Jay Rim, he is definitely not a person I would recommend ever working with. He was terrible with phone calls, emails and updating us on any information. We came all the way from NY to NJ to pick u our vehicle and it was paid for a week prior from us getting it. Arrived on site and our vehicle that was already purchased everything signed was not ready to go. No detail or anything. They couldnt even find the keys for it when we arrived. Sat in the waiting area for over 2 hours and didnt even get to deal with Jay. Jay had pawned his dirty work onto some poor lady who was extremely nice to us. She unfortunately had no idea what was going on. We are still waiting for our check that Jay assured was mailed out 2 weeks ago and here we are... still no check. Overall I would stay away from dealing with Jay. Dealership is nice and prices are great.

I was apprehensive going to buy a car at a dealer. It was used, I did my research and even secured my own financing to help speed the process along. Alex greeted me and was very friendly. He let me test drive the car right away and quickly started my paperwork and trade appraisal. I was not is only client that day and he was juggling 3-4 clients at once. He made sure to check in if I was waiting longer than 10 minutes to update me. They gave me what I wanted for my trade with no issues. They were able to match my loan rate with their in house offering and streamline the process. The insurance rep was very friendly and helpful. Once finance was ready for the process went quickly. Mike explained everything completely and answered any questions I had. This is by far the best dealer buying experience I have had. I would come back here no problem for another car. The car only had one key and they were unable to locate it so they ended up giving me money off the car to cover the replacement cost. There was no fight about it either. Smooth operation and painless process. Thanks to everyone at the ToH team.

I went today in this dealership to buy a car, two days before I made an appointment to check three cars for test drive. Representative Nixon met me in front of dealership, from the beginning, he started conversation with me like I was his old buddy, but that was not the real issue, The guy never even offered me to have a seat, was joking about β€œ Oh are you buying all of cars, which one you want”. Nixon seamed to me like on rush or in bad mood, finally we end no deal! I’m 47, I’ve seen a lot’s of dealerships and sells representatives in my life, but honestly I never been in such awkward situations like with this guy... Such a disappointment to me .

The best Toyota facility i have ever been to. The employees are beyond professional. Went in for service and repair on my vehicle and left it over night. I was kept updated on the status of my vehicle and was ready when promise. In addition, i was explained by mechanics and physically showed the issue of my vehicle. MIRIAM IS THE BEST! This was by far the best car purchase I’ve ever made. Miriam was attentive and helpful during our test drive. I LOVE my new rav! I had a great experience at Toyota of Hackensack. I was looking for a fairly new certified vehicle. I was greeted by Miriam and she informed me the vehicle was still waiting to be transported from the auction it was purchased at but that we could do pricing and wait for it to arrive. She gave me a fair value for my trade and after test driving a vehicle and sitting with her, I knew, sight unseen, that this is the car I wanted! She was so informative and worked with my budget. Unfortunately, the car took over 2 weeks to arrive, but Miriam kept in touch with me the entire time. The car came but had some damage.. Miriam’s team repaired the vehicle way beyond what I expected and I completed a deal that evening! Miriam made my car buying experience easy. Thanks again!!!!
