This was my first experience with a dermatologist. I chose this office because of # of positive reviews, detailed summary of services/product information available on their website and the hope to establish care.Dr. Ferrara and his staff were kind, knowledgeable and patient with my questions. They reviewed options with me to accommodate my concerns and meet me at my comfort level. Skin care is intimidating, can be costly and some treatments are not one size fits all. I can assure anyone who is hesitant (as I was) to take the first step to feeling better about their skin - regardless of the issue - to schedule a consult with this office. You will understand your skin better, learn what options are available and be properly prepared for realistic results vs conceptualized results.No regrets.

Great office. The Alastin skincare is the best. I haven’t used Botox since using this product. I normally can’t use anti-aging products due to allergic reactions but this one is great. All my friends now are using it too and love it.

Dr. Ferrara is the best, hands down, for administering Botox. He’s very through and precise in the placement which is a very difficult skill to acquire. I trust no one else for this procedure.

Dr. Ferrara and staff offer top notch services to meet all of your skincare needs. The dermatology clinic provides treatment for skin conditions and annual mole checks, etc. and the skin and laser center offers anti-aging, hydro-facials, laser treatments and variety of services to maintain healthy, glowing skin. Highly recommend. If you are in the area, trust your skin and facial needs to trained, certified and licensed professionals at the Skin and Laser Center of Grosse Pointe.

I just left this place and they pretty much told me they can’t do anything for people with “darker skin”. In my eyes I feel their telling me they don’t service black people. The plot twist of it all is that I found another place that’s willing to do the same surgery. If you have someone that’s willing to pay any price, why turn them down? Racism.

Every step of the appointment is pleasant and easy! We love the product recommendations and the treatments offered. You can tell it is a happy office and employees enjoy working together!

The office is clean, staff is professional and I never have to wait for my appointment. My aesthetician Rachelle is wonderful. She always puts me at ease, answers all of my questions and is incredibly knowledgable. After a few treatments here I have so much confidence and have never felt better about my skin!

Dr. Ferrara is always a perfectionist with a wonderful bedside manner. He and his staff are the best dermatologists I have ever been too, in fact, maybe the best doctors office of any I have been too.
