Cant believe the lack of customer service at this Dollar General location. Only been in here a few times and the staff are just downright rude. You feel like youre being watched and urged out of the store so they can talk in peace. Very unpleasant. Doubt Ill go again.

I personally have never had a problem here. Being a former employee of a few retail outlets, I can say that a lot of reason why some feel they’re not stocked well is because the corporate office isn’t giving the manager enough hours to have enough staff in order to stock. That’s not the store manager’s or the staff’s fault, so the upset is misdirected. Also, shoplifting = higher prices. Anyone who’s ever worked retail knows that for every item stolen, corporate has to increase price to cover for lost profit. Don’t like higher prices? Bean a thief upside the head when you see one taking merchandise. Mr. Richard and his staff work their behinds off to the best of their ability to keep that store going, and with little help from the higher-ups. Give them a little time to regroup and bounce back. They will.

I love to shop this store. It is the cleanest and neatest Dollar General you will ever shop.

Store:1227 Grenada MS: 38901Very displeased with the customer service that I always receive here from the manager. (Very poor social skills -especially for customer service )I will be shopping elsewhere. I don’t like too be followed around and starred at while I’m shopping. I feel it’s discrimination too some extent. He makes me feel very uncomfortable. Another thing I noticed is that all other stores are partaken in the Dollar General Mega sale ,which is supposed to be an additional 50percent off the additional sales price. At this store he only offered half price no additional sale on what is already suppose to be on sale. If your not going too do it right why partake? I asked him were there any inside store deals he told me no. Also the things that were on sale outside were not in any particular category, there wasn’t any price tag on anything. It all was just thrown out and very discombobulated. Why set bends on the ground, what about the elderly ,pregnant or disabled people who have trouble bending over in low places? It would make more sense too set up a table or at least place the items inside of a shopping cart with marked prices and categorized.

This Dollar General is always clean neat and organized and the staff is on point always helpful always informative yes I love this Dollar General.

I normally dread coming into this store, always nasty, none of the employees smile or seem like they any interest in customer service (poor management I’m assuming) but I went in this last Saturday morning for my boss and I was shocked they hired someone with an personality, I believe her name may have been Lauren or Lauran? Unsure. But best service I’ve ever received in the past 7 years of on and off coming in this certain Dollar General. She was friendly, I had carried a lot of things without thinking of a carrier cart, she stopped mid task to fetch me a cart, went above and beyond to help locate items that weren’t on shelves yet. Sincerely cared about how my day was , I vented a bit and she asked if I would mind if she said a prayer for me to have a better day. I was utterly shocked and surprised at how kind and thoughtful this young woman was. I went into the store today to locate the first person I’ve actually liked working there and she wasn’t there, I walked out. I was going to ask when would she be working but none of the employees acted like they were interested in speaking. But I will go every day until I see this kind young lady and let her know her prayers worked. I will make this my set dollar general if I see her more often. Thank you, dollar general, for hiring an actual employee that treats customers wonderful, smiles, helpful, and is FRIENDLY. This store needs her to make it the best dollar general in the local area.

Glad they fixed the dollar aisle wish they would do something about those metal things everywhere. Happy they hired ms Lara she’s so attentive and sweet she had the longest line and thanked each person for their patience also for not leaving very professional that young lady is she answered any questions I had and never made me feel unwelcome like the other cashiers do. Ms Laura and ms Sharon should be the faces of that store.

I love my Dollar General store. They have stuff more cheaper than Wal-Mart. Yes I will always shop at dollar general no matter what.

The store was fine, an Avert driver pulled in and almost hit my truck and trailer and cursed me and my cousin for being in his way. Avert needs to reevaluate their drivers.

Dollar General is my favorite Dollar Store and each one I go in the customer service is always good friendly helpful respectable quick moving lines efficient service.
