Stopped for quick dinner with the family. Kids meals are reasonably priced and good portions. I always enjoy the clam cakes and chowder. Its not fancy but it is consistent.

Great Variety...Seafood chowder was worth the try!

NEVER AGAIN!! We ordered ahead and picked up curbside for two beyond burgers (more like two sliders) and a grilled portobello and mediterranean couscous salad. The patron brought the order in a large plastic bag and handed to me only to learn ALL three containers were positioned sideways causing a mess! Now for the perfect ending the burgers with two sides were literally CHILD portions! The salad was not fresh and tasted old with bland dressing. ALL for $42!!

Always a good experience. Good quality is good drink menu is good, good atmosphere. Our family are regulars. I like how the seasonal menu adds variety, but I wish there were a few more selections, regardless you cant go wrong with any dish, sandwich or burger. Staff is always friendly, helpfull and attentive.

I ordered a drink and it was super sweet and thing you know I ordered a medium well done burger and it’s comes out burnt as hell never again am I eating here. Oh and don’t get me started on a burnt Fry I found. NEVER AGAIN

I wouldnt say this was the best restaurant in RI but Ill put it in my top 10 ! I ordered their garlic steak rib eye and mashed potatoes cooked Medium and it was cooked perfectly and mashed potatoes were awesome! Its probably the best steak Ive had in along time... The bar is awesome and the stuff are super friendly and service is really good! I highly recmmend this particular Chelos in Smithfield

Always delicious food. Inexpensive kids meals. Plenty of seating, and no wait on a Saturday evening. Ask to sit far away from the bar, as it was full and loud.

I went on a Friday night and even though it was busy, I was seated upon arrival and the food arrived in a timely manner. Great menu with many options and reasonable prices. *The brownie sundae is very delicious :-)

Chelos has always been a fan favorite for me. Love the steak and cheese from here. The fries are pretty good. They have keno so yeah thats a plus.

I ordered a slice of cheesecake and it was the smallest piece i have ever seen. I dont mind paying for good service but chelos has only reduced service. The worse part is that with this virus going around, I asked to have the caramel and wiped cream to be on the side. They place the caramel and the cream container inside the cheesecake. I threw it out. Last time I order from them.

If you are a regular to chellos then your usually getting Consistent food and know what to expect. They have great deals and even slightly better ones on Specific days. Like combo deals soup or salad with the main meal and dessert . I personally like the place a lot. Cheese burger is great with sweet potato fries. I usually get the roasted chicken with a sweet baked potato and sour cream. Cranberry sauce. Everything is good there in my opinion nothing complicated so like comfort food.Even had the salmon . I thought that was fine. I also like the bar area if you want to sit before the meal and get a drink or even eat at the bar or by the bar at a table with the the high back chairs.

Ugh it wasnt very good today, I normally love this place but not today. First off the person who designed the booths must have worked on popup campers because thats about the size of the booths ,not comfortable at all for 4 average sized Americans, the food was a bit over done,some was sent back but the wings were awesome and the meatloaf was good all in all fair

We ordered to go. Great Roast beef sandwich. They forgot my wifes soup. Needless to say she wasnt happy but I wasnt driving back. The place was crazy with to go orders. Good for them.

The worts chicken Alfredo. Ive ordered many many times but it always comes dry even when I ask for extra sauce, and the broccoli comes hard even when I ask for it well cooked. The chicken Alfredo is good when it has sauce but they never put enough even when I ask for extra. Never ordering it again.

We had a very nice meal the way that was very attentive. Even the manager checked at our table to make sure everything was as we ordered. We have been going to dinner at this cellos on a regular basis lately and we will definitely continue

Chelos is adding more vegan options to their menu which I was happy to see. I had the pasta dish with beyond sausage and it was excellent.

Its Chelos. People in Rhode Island and nearby Massachusetts know that this is a great place to eat. If youre looking for a burger go no further. Great desserts. I think they are better than Gregs for desserts.

Im updating my previous review of 5 stars. When I found out about a year ago that chelos served prime rib on Saturdays I gave it a try. Ive ordered it several times never had an issue mashed potatoes were good everything was good. Well today me and my fiance ordered two prime ribs with double mash and it was absolutely horrible no taste mashed potatoes had no taste very blahhh. I didnt even finish it. I would not be giving the prime rib another chance. I dont know if chelos has a new cook or whats going on in the kitchen but they need to tighten ship in smithfield

Every time I call to order take out nobody even answers the phone, and I get disconnected. I will not be giving business to this location anymore. Sat on the phone over 10 minutes multiple times with disconnects and no answer.

This is s great go to restaurant for a drink and sandwich. I dont usually order a meal there, prefer their sandwiches. Great desserts too.

This great family-owned and family-friendly place has become the annual stop for my sons birthday dinner. He loves how they get everybody over to sing, and they have real whipped cream for his blueberry pie (who says you need cake for a birthday?)

Horrible customer service. Just plain horrible. As soon as we walked in they complained about literally everything as if we were providing the service.

Clam cakes and chowder were very good. The staff is not very bright. We went to 2 locations in a 2 week span and both places have much to be desired. We ordered 2 orders of clamcakes and chowder and 1 order of potato skins. How the hell did you forget the potato skins? Seriously, there were 2 parties, we were one of them!Then I felt like I was being held hostage..give my bill and let me leave.

The meal was cold the berry salad had no berries in it I waited for dressing half of meal gone.

Still the best clam cakes around.

Gotta have their clam cakes! There burgers are awesome too. They even have a vegan burger that tastes like meat! The updated the interior and it is a very comfortable atmosphere. Plenty of food and drink specials. Seriously, get the clam cakes.

Server Matt was super friendly with positive attitude and prompt service. Food was definitely 5 star. Matt fell short of 5 stars, 4 stars and even 3 stars when he gave us a large majority of 1s for our change. Bill was $30.95 and we gave a $100 bill. He did get change from the bar but proceeded to take his tip money (probably a lot of $1s) in exchange for the larger bills. We watched him the whole time he was switching out the larger bills for the smaller ones. It was a full five minutes. We got stuck with $25.00 in 1s and the rest 5s and 10s. Give me a break. My husband was so upset he left the restaurant. I spoke to Matt and let him know every thing was great until he did that. I dont think he was phased. Gave some lame excuse...

I have the spaghetti and meatballs with marinara sauce they were so little marinara sauce that it didnt even cover half the spaghetti and the meatballs were like the Italian style frozen meatballs you buy at stop & shop the only thing that tasted good inside cellos was the dessert iPhone will never go back there and thats the cellos on route 44

Quality of food has gone way down. I had clamcakes and chowder. The chowder was very watery and tasteless. I then ordered cheesecake and that was horrible. I told the waitress the chowder was good she just apologized. No manager even came to check in with us.

It was EXCELLENT!!! Was there with 4 kids. Everyone loved their meals. Plus, we found that kids meals are half price for the rest of the summer. Kids meals are ridiculously cheap already without being half price, but still nice. Our favorite restaurant!

We went there on a whim had the kids with us well this was GREAT Karen took the girls and they made “love bugs” while the adults had a chance to talk. The staff was friendly and attentive! Great JOB!!! We will definitely be back!!! Thank you again!

My fiance has an out of state license and when she was IDd she was handed a book and told to write down all of her information and sign to prove her age. The server left us alone with this book for about 10 minutes...this book is full of peoples names, addresses, date of births, license numbers, and addresses...its a good thing we are honest people. Is it really the best idea to just hand this to a table and walk away? In todays climate I am certainly worried about handing over so many peoples personal information to a stranger like this.

Great place to eat and drink some social distancing a must, but comfortable

Not a cheap eats kind of place, but really great value. The calamari were cooked to perfection. The burgers are hearty and always cooked to the desired temperature. The pot roast is heavenly, and fork tender. I highly recommend the caramel apple martini. Service was excellent. Ill gladly be returning.

You cant go wrong with Chelos. They have a fantastic menu of reasonably priced items for every taste. A great place to bring the children for an early dinner or that special someone for a late evening date. Check their specials in person or online. Theyve got their awesome clam cakes on the half price appetizer menue! Check for days and times and remember the chowda.
