After reading all the positive reviews we decided to try the Restaurant & food was good..not the Best Ive ever had..reminded me of a fast food chain. You place your order at Counter & you choose your sides Buffet style which cashier prepares. I was constantly fighting a Fly during my meal...lol. Also the French Fries tasted sweet...All this for $38.00! I must say the Chocolate Fried Pie was Delicious 😋

Great Bbq...loved the brisket especially. Ribs were tender, not my favorite style, and tasty. Didnt care for cowboy beans...slaw was very good. I would ear here again.

I am a huge fan of Bakers Ribs and I can never pass up on the opportunity for a chance to grab a Beef BBQ sandwich including the best potato salad ever along with their delicious pinto beans and a chocolate fried pie.Again I was beyond impressed with all of my choices from this particular location which I had visited a few years past and once again I stopped by on a road trip and do not regret.The young man taking my order was very polite and friendly and the cashier interacted with me as if she has known me for my entire life.No doubt that I will be returning to this outstanding place again as soon as possible.

I think the Ribs, Chicken and Brisket are some of the Best Ive had!!! Employees were GREAT and I enjoyed our time there. The side dishes were OK, But the Fried Pies..... Yum!!

Ordered half a pound of brisket around 11am today. It was the driest brisket Ive ever had to pay for in my life. I cant help but wonder if the brisket they served me was from the day before.The turkey breast wasnt dry but not great. Mac and cheese was decent I guess. Sweet tea was hardly sweet. Would not recommend.

Their bbq is good ,but their breakfast is the best around for sure. They are not cheap with their breakfast or meats. Price is moderately low, especially for the amount and quality 👌. Staff is super cool and nice. Place is always clean. All around good place to eat breakfast. If you like a good hearty bacon and egg breakfast (and other stuff)this is the place you want to give a try

A must-try! We stop here at least one way almost every time we head to East Texas. The BBQ is juicy, the sides are fresh, and the banana pudding is almost as tempting as the fried pies. If you want to try something unique, check out the Texas Fries.

Ordered takeout for supper. I got busy talking to the Cashier & didnt check my order. 40 miles later at home, Im a sandwich short. I called and the Manager gave me immediate credit back on the card. Service was great and food was superb. Well definitely be back!

I made a quick stop in this resturant because I was tempted by their roadside signs advertising their award winning fried pies. I love fried pies so I decided to give them a try. I wont go as far as to say they were the best I have eaten but very good. They have all flavors from the normal apple, peach, blueberry, to chocolate, coconut, strawberry cheesecake, and German Chocolate. Being a peach expert I would say it would have been better with less gelatin type filling but it was still good. Their crust is a delicious buttery crust.

Stopped here after reading good reviews. Sure weren’t sorry. It was a busy Sunday but they moved us quickly through the line. Best barbecue ever. So many choices for sides. Fried pies made in house. Free ice cream machine cones. Clean restrooms and friendly service much appreciated at the end of a long road trip.

TRUCK PARKING!!! Ordered 2 2plate meals totaling $32. Reasonable price considering each plate came with 2 half pounds of meat and 2 sides. With a friendly staff, warm atmosphere, and clean area are a plus. Would come back.

Trucker friendly with semi truck parking in the back, next to donkeys...Bonus.😃 Everything looked and smelled great.. Got rack of ribs and pulled pork (regular BBQ sauce) with ocra and mac n cheese, all was soooo very good and tender, actually had meat on the bone and could taste the smoke flavor, wasnt extremely fatty meat like most places and mac n cheese was cheesee,fried ocra was perfect. Will try more next time. Everyone was nice and checkout was fast and sides were generous. Definitely will stop again when passing through.

This place is amazing...I am a truck driver and I make sure to stop here every time I am in Texas... I highly recommend it...you wont be disappointed

The staff were super polite and prompt. They made my meat pie fresh which was awesome. I ended up getting the BBQ salad which was decent the only down side was the brisket didnt taste like it had a stitch of seasoning on it but the BBQ sauce made up for it other than that the place is good.

Wow!! We visited your about 4 years ago and it was really good. Today we came back 2-24-2019 and again it was extremely great. I ordered the pulled pork sandwich and cream cheese fried pie. I will be back again. Extremely clean and nice folks.

The food is delicious and the service was fantastic. I had the pulled pork and my husband had their new mild sausage. They were perfectly moist and packed with flavor. The pinto beans have a nice little bite at the end. I don’t eat spicy food and the bite was just enough not to much. The green beans are delectable I couldn’t get enough so we bought a pint to go. The scalloped potatoes were really cheesy. The potato salad was delicious just like every other item we tried.

Very good. food was good. We were in there party room for a party. clis d off from the regular seating aera. Have a very large handicap bathroom with a diaper changing station. However no safety rails or handicap compliance toliet. The sink is not wheelchair accessible. They are located right on service road easy on /off access to highway

Great food with a great environment! Dont waste your money in dickeys or soulmans you the road. If you want real deal bbq check this place out. Only complaint I had is the pies they sell were super soft. But the bbq made up for that hands down!

Ribs were burnt and dry. They had a hot rub on them that made them even more unappetizing. Pie was great. Service was great.

This is a really great bbq restaurant. My wife and I both got a 2 meat platter. The sides were not limited like a normal bbq joint. Cherry pie was really good. The lady behind the counter even told me I could get ice cream on top for free, which may be frozen custard (but that kept it from being overwhelmingly sweet). My biggest complaint was that there was a couple of flies in the dining area.

Bakers Rib is an excellent choice for Barbecue. Brisket and ribs are tender and mouthwatering. Sauce is just spicy enough even for picky eaters. The fried pies are amazing. Fruit, cream cheese and even meat filled, they are uniquely delicious. Reasonably priced and lots of choices. Breakfast is also served here.

And spicy sausage with a great kick! Add the awesome au gratin potatoes, tomato salad, and to that the fried pies with an ice cream cone chaser and youve got one fantastic BBQ experience!!! I walked over to the drive thru with my dog and they served me. The ribs were really tender. Best bbq Ive had honestly. Def trucker friendly as well! Only reason theyre getting 4 stars is because its a little pricey. But Im satisfied and would visit again.

We stop here every time we visit my mom and get meat by the pound and sides. Their brisket is fabulous, ribs done perfectly & pulled pork is so yummy. Their potato salad is really good too. Good portions foe their price ! Try their “hot” bbq sauce too!

As we were eating those I decided to order BBQ to go.My favorite local restaurant (Florence, CO) is Steele Smokin. Now I know theyre making Texas BBQ... Bakers Style. The Best!!

This was one of the first restaurants my husband and I stopped at when we first moved to Texas & it’ll always have a special place in my heart. We didn’t have a working kitchen for a few nights at first, so we just kept coming here. The bbq is simply fantastic (all if it!), and the fried okra is out of this world! It’s flavorful and it’s not mushy, like a lot of places. The peach hand pies are my favorite. ❤️ Whenever we’re near Caddo Mills, I make it a point to stop by & get something, even if I’m not hungry, because the food is so good. The ambience is nice, too. The employees are friendly and the place is clean. I wish I lived closer to Caddo Mills so I could stop by more often.

The food was alright. BUT....When I called in the order, I asked for a final price. She said; $68.I asked how it was so much and the price quickly dropped $20.When I arrived to pick up my order, the price was $68.00.When I questioned it, she said there had somehow been a sausage plate added to my order. Odd, since there wasnt a sausage plate made for me. So they knew not to make the sausage plate but it mysteriously appeared on my order? Twice?Thats got a few names for it.....CROOKED. PRICE GOUGING.The food is not good enough to be blatantly robbed.

I called up Bakers Ribs 30 minuets before we planned to eat in hopes that they could provide seating for a large group without notice. They were able to accommodate us and provide excellent service.Barbecue was wonderful, fried pies were amazing.

Tacky tacky service. Our group of 11 people spent around $160 on barbecue and 6 to 8 fried pies. Even though we bought dessert, someone in our party brought a birthday cake also. Some members of our party remembered to keep their forks and others forgot. We went to grab additional forks for those that forgot to save them and the owner asked us to pay for 7 forks so we could eat cake. She wanted $1.50 for 7 forks. The owner really needs to consider that while a fork does cost her money, what would be her response if I had dropped my fork and wanted another one? Would she charge me for that? Or what if we knew ahead of time that we would want a different fork for dessert and just grabbed 2 forks from the beginning of our meal, would she have noticed? Is she losing on 20-40% profit because people ask for 7 forks? I imagine that she stands to lose a lot more money from disappointed customers that dont want to support a crabby owner. Also, 8 people in our group had never tried out the food at this place and even though they liked the food, the tackiness of asking for additional money for some spare forks is enough to make them choose another friendlier establishment. The owner needs to realize that she should harbor good feelings towards customers. Now when the idea of going to Bakers Ribs pops in my head, I think twice about going there and visiting Mrs. Tacky. I agree that the ribs are not great. The smoked turkey and pulled pork are tender and juicy. I believe the pulled pork needs some more seasoning.

We loved the BBQ and fried pies. The meat was so tender, it fell right off the bone! Everything was amazing!!! Friendly customer service!! Well worth the stop!!! We will definitely be back!! COME WITH AN APPETITE!

My wife and I parked our truck next door at the Pilot, this place does have truck parking behind the restaurant, and we walked over for lunch. Great ribs and fried pie and prices are reasonable. Only gave a 4 star because the mac n cheese was not the best. Needs cheddar cheese and parmesan in the recipe. But a great place to eat!

This place was ok. Staff didnt really say much they just looked at us. Ordered a loaded potatoe with brisket.Couldnt eat it because the potatoe skin had too much salt and over powered the brisket and I couldnt eat it.I dont like to waste food but I had no choice but to throw it.I want yall to know I also write good reviews not just bad.Im disappointed because I didnt get to eat and enjoy the food.
