Took an FR 309 to this place on Woodruff Road which I had Googled it to find out the closest Geico location when I get there they cannot explain to me or help me in any type of way on what to do with the questions that I had for the fr 309. They just said they could just fax my paperwork to the head office once I filled it out and then they were to return and send it over to the Department of Motor Vehicles so I trusted that it was safe in their hands and come to find out the insurance agent charge $500 deductible when it was only 52 50 because he didnt he says he didnt get the paperwork still confused will be calling on Monday but just thought Id let you know that the insurance adjuster said that they were a private sector even though they worked for Geico you would think they all pulled together and did teamwork you know rant over

If you want to explore insurance needs with GEICO, make sure you clearly understand the quote you receive online is not the final one. GEICO offers low insurance quote to bring you in. Than when you are ready to pay, you are told your insurance quote has gone up because you have this and that in/on your record. If you ask, why GEICO didnt look into the same info first, before quoting. They might give you jibber-jabber excuses including telling all the insurance companies do it but we all know is not true. So, why GEICO dont tell you up front ? Because GEICO is not honest but use deceptive techniques wasting costomer/consumers time. Moreover, instead of dealing local GEICO office agent; call/deal directly with GEICO central office. You will save lots of time(no waiting in queue) and headache. At least, there is someone at main GEICO customer service number you can reach and talk to and get the things done fast.I think State Farm is better especially in SC.

The phone customer service is horrible, but the Greenville office I always have a good experience they know their stuff and get you put together with great deals and service. I went on line to get quotes. I spoke with Edward Hutchins this morning. He was professional & personable. I had several questions. He went through everything with me. Although the process was quick I did not feel rushed in any way. He set up my policies to meet my needs. Overall great experience.

I dont understand why my insurance is so high, I have no dui, no accident and this company is changing me way to much.

I have had geico for 3 years now and have had the worst experience with them. Last year (2020) in July I had an accident (someone rearended me) and ended up having multiple strokes due to the car accident. I was in and out of the hostpital and received a called January 22nd for a bill payment which I made that day. February 27th 2021, I was in another accident (rearended by someone). At the accident scene the police said they couldnt locate my insurance and would have to give me a ticket. I was transported to the hospital by ambulance and tried to log into my account but it advised me to call. When I called and spoke to the representative, she told me my policy was cancelled due to license suspension. I advised my license has never been suspended so the representative took a look into it. She returned to the call and advised I was right and she could reinstate me effective immediately. See emailed me my insurance info that had the effective date Feb 27, 2021. Once I got out the hospital I contacted Geico claims and spoke to Karen so they could fill out my SCFR10. She advised they could not say I had insurance on the date of the accident due to my license being suspended. She advised me to reach out to my local DMV as they were the ones who sent the suspension notice. I went to my local DMV who confirmed my license had never been suspended with proof but they informed me that I had to fix the issue with Geico. I called Geico back and spoke to a manager in service and explained the situation and asked her to pull the calls. She denied pulling the calls and advised there is nothing they can do. Even after explaining that my license was never suspended and it was an error on their part, she denied and said the policy would still show effective on 2/28, the day after the accident. I tried to explain that in SC if your in an accident and dont have insurance then the state can suspend your license which have fees associated with it, that I should not be responsible for. She advised again that since the DMV sent them the notice they acted on it. I thought I may need this information in writing for the DMV so I called back and spoke to Nekita Dillard. I asked her for some documentation stating that they cancelled my insurance due to the DMV notifying them of my license being suspended. She advised Geico could not provide any documentation because of them being legal documents. I clarified that I only wanted a letter or email stating that the DMV advised Geico of the suspension, and she said she could not and could only send the letter Geico sent to me (which I did not receive).Being a Geico customer for 3 years I thought I would get help and they would act on due diligence but they seem very deceitful and untrustworth.

My wife was in an accident on November 2018. It has now been 28 months and Geico still hasnt paid the medical bill for an accident where my wife was rear ended by one of their policy holders. I have called geico about this over 10x and brought it to their attention. I told them when I got the letter saying it went into collections over a year ago. I have had a few different individuals at Geico tell me they would take care of this IMMEDIATELY. Here we are March 3, 2021 and I get a letter saying this bill still hasnt been paid!! Thank you for lowering our credit score during a pandemic, Geico!

Geico insurance was good before but not anymore they are expensive. I went with progressive with better coverage for a lot less ($200 less a month) and on top of that because of the %15 discount they have right now when i cancelled they charging me that discount i got. Horrible they raise my insurance for no reason and now this too. If your looking for insurance try Progressive it might surprise you i thought they would be alot more expensive.

Was a great service, until they messed up my account trying to trick the system. They were suppose to call me back but never did. Now it’s going on 3 months and they keep giving me the run around . I waited on the phone for 3 minutes for them to tell me to call back in a hour. All this just to pay my bill every month and enroll in automatic payments.

Anyone else find it odd how many Geico reviewers have only ONE review... not shady at all.Service has really gone downhill over the years. Did you know you can buy auto/motorcycle/RV insurance all through Geico, but when you try to cancel the policies you will have to wait on hold 30m to cancel the auto, then wait on a different hold line for another 30m to cancel the motorcycle insurance, then wait on hold another 30m to cancel the RV insurance. Just sayin think it through before proceeding.

I dont have Geico; after reading these reviews this is why. They are easy to sign up with, but slim when it comes to resolving problems. I wasnt going to save that much money with any change, so Im staying with my insurance company. I wanted to bundle car and home, but couldnt get a quote until I bought car? That seems odd to me. Cute talking gekko on TV, but that doesnt make for good customer service and knowing they truly have your back when you need them.
