Amenities, thats a laugh. The pool has been closed for months. There is no gated community when the gates have been broken for months. You will now be towed with a sticker in a visitor spot, in your roommates paid parking, without an updated sticker in any spot. Make sure you dont miss any informative emails. Also they dont tell anyone who they are allowing to come into our ungated community to tow.Maintenance, thats another joke. We were almost 2 weeks with no hot water for bathing or cleaning during covid. The rent is ok but good luck.

Do not sign a lease here. Staff is lazy and management lies to you and only wants your money. Had a safety issue that involved police and court. Management did not care. Promised to send someone out to change the locks and clean the common area. Nobody has. You can pay for a reserved parking spot under the overhang. But what they don’t tell you is that all parking passes expire in July until September. Yet they still charge you the extra $20 for each of the 2 months that you don’t even have one. Nobody replies to emails ever. Interior of the apartments are disgusting. They have a huge bug problem. There’s mold in all the bathrooms in our unit that they refuse to do anything about. A picture of male genitalia was spray painted on our patio when we first moved in. Nobody has come to paint over it even after a year so that’s embarrassing. I made the stupid decision to renew my lease after only living here for a few months. I can’t wait to get out of here next year. Find a better complex, this one is awful.

This place is a scam. Dont even know where to start.Advertising amenities that havent been open in months and CONTINUE to still not be open. I am tired of hearing excuses about how the pool area is still not open. Rent should have been lowered because of this.Someone hit the sign at the entrance? Dont worry The Landing will just leave it there.Trying to charge me an extra $200 for transferring apartments this month. Unbelievable, it wasnt until I had written proof from the previous manager that this fee was going to be waived FROM 4 MONTHS ago until the current one gave in. And STILL it is showing that it hasnt been waived on my account. I even gave them a check for rent and you guessed it, still showing I have not paid rent this month. They are severely understaffed with maintenance workers. Personally, it took one month for them to get us BLINDS. Our apartment is right by the parking lot, we had 0 privacy in our rooms for a month. The Landing earns the award of the absolute worst student apartment complex in Greenville.

Ive lived here for a year and didnt have any problems until recently when it went under new management. I havent had any water all day. I called them at 12 and they said it would be 2 hours. 3 hours later and still no water. They said they sent me an email, I did not receive an email. Then I was not aware they got a new office number. I was on hold for over 30 minutes trying to get answers but could not get through to anyone. Overall, this has been very frustrating and annoying. Its very unprofessional and ridiculous that this has happened. This has ruined my experience of living here and honestly wouldnt recommend this place to anyone looking for student living.

I would like to show all of the mold growing under our sink from water damage and the mold growing in the dishwasher. The mold under the sink has been growing for 3 weeks now and the dishwasher has been like this since moving in. The landing was notified and has yet to do anything ab it. This is a health concern. Hey! I’ve lived at the landing for going on three years now and I can truly say, you cannot beat the price and community. A couple of my favorite things about the landing include the amenities(the three resort style pools being my favorite), the nice staff, and occasional activities the landing will hold. They’re super fun and it gives you a chance to interact with neighbors! Lastly, the maintenance guys are so sweet and helpful whenever I have a problem. Regardless if they have a lot of maintenance orders, they always try their best to come as fast as possible. I would definitely recommend the landing as an affordable and friendly place to stay.

My main issue is like, its NO ONE knows what the phone at the front desk is. I might have to make another trip there (over an hour long ride) just to get something dealt with BECAUSE no one will pick up the phone. My friend has called several times himself, with no response after sitting on hold for an HOUR more than once.Other than that issue, they seem alright. Just please, for the love of god, get someone at the phone XD

Moved in August 7th, 2021 when we found we were missing 2 beds, 2 mattresses, 2 desk, and 2 dressers. Got the beds and mattresses around 7pm. Did not get the other furniture until the next day around 4pm. The pool was closed on move in day, as I ask why they told me “they are waiting on an inspection” and they “could not give me a time frame of when it will be open” it is now Friday the Aug 13 and pool is still not open. I have called the office the past 3 days multiple times and ask to speak with a manager, but apparently she doesn’t come to work much. Since I could not reach the manager, I called the Pitt County Environmental Health department where I was told The Landing has NOT even gotten a permit to open the pool and that they have not had the pool open since June 8th. If the pool does not open in a timely manner I will be taking legal action to terminate my lease for false advertisement and amenities not being met.

I’ve lived at The Landing for two years now. Maintenance is always on top of things, I’ve had no major issues. The only thing I don’t like is how fast the residents zoom through the parking lot and that they never pick up their dog poop. Otherwise it’s been great living here and I would renew if I didn’t have to move out of the city for grad school!

Only think I don’t like are the gates they are always broken and half the time the number doesn’t work and no one picks up there dog poop. But it’s a positive environment with a lot of activities to do to bring the landing community together. They also give away lot of free items that are themed both ecu and the landing.

My move in date was August the 7th. But due to the condition of the apartment, I was unable to move in. My mother went to the office and spoke with Ms. Tarnisha about our concerns. Ms. Tarnisha told my mother that she and her staff would take care of our concerns even though they were understaffed. We returned on Wednesday the 11th. My mother and I were very impressed how the apartment looked. It was unbelievable the changes that had taken place. Almost every one of our concerns had been taking care of. We were told by one of my roommate that Ms. Tarnisha assisted in the detailed cleaning herself. This just goes to show that Ms. Tarnisha is a woman of her word and that she does whatever it takes to get the job done. She and her team, (Julia, Austin, and Chris) have made my mother very pleased. She even following up with a phone call to make sure all our needs were taking care of. The care and effort that they have shown to us is commendable. Words can not express the relief we feel. It is so reassuring that if I have concern with the apartment, it will be taking care of.Ms. Tarnisha, thanks for being the manager that gets the job done. You are truly the example of an excellent manager!

We moved my son into his apartment yesterday and are very unhappy with the condition of the place. The apartment was disgusting…mildew and old soap scum in the showers, pet hair all over, cob webs hanging everywhere, an inch of lint in the filter in the dryer, 3 pair of men’s dirty underwear found between the washer and dryer along with piles of dirt/dust, the refrigerator and freezer had old food spills and dirt and grime, the floors were dirty and to top it off we found mold growing in the air vents. I was shocked that they would let anyone move in to a place this dirty especially in Covid times. We spent most of the day cleaning and cloroxing before I would even start unpacking his things. I would think twice about this place!

If I could put no stars I would. These people in the management are absolutely inhuman. Earlier in the year for first semester I tried to go back home cause my mother has MS and they didn’t let me. I ended up getting stuck in my lease because they lost my friends entire lease and they kept me in instead after I already had someone to try to take my lease. Now my father passed away on the 30th of December and I’m trying to just go back home to take care of mother and they tell me my dad’s death means nothing to them and that at the end of the day it’s just a business. I feel like for improvements, the electronic locks on the gates beside the office should be able to lock and I don’t like that I have to go out of the front gates and under the office to get to the pool. If only there was an option to put zero stars. Please read carefully. The appearance of this apartment and the price is quite deceptive. DO NOT SIGN OR RE-SIGN YOUR LEASE (and if you have already, Im so sorry). If you live here I encourage you to look underneath your couch cushions, youll probably find an assortment of goodies such as hair, dog hair, chips/food crumbs, pencils, hair ties and a used mask! This place does not clean up after their clients. My unit had roaches the first month living here, got an exterminator out here, however I can count the endless spiders, roaches, and other unidentifiable bugs Ive seen since then. Our freezer temperature is broken! So RIP to my chocolate ice cream and 4th of July popsicles that melted :(. The fridge temperature is below freezing so RIP to my frozen milk, fruit, and other dairy products. Dont count on mantinence to come fix it in a timely manner, expect 1-2 weeks! My whole bedroom lost power for 3 weeks because of a leak in the roof that destroyed the power in my unit, mantinence came to replace my light fixture when I called to complain about the delay, not because they actually remembered or cared. The workers in the office are unprofessional and do not wear masks. You walk in and theyre texting, laughing, and overall not being professional. The area in the back of the complex is nasty! Trash and dog poop everywhere, so dont wear your nice Jordans through the grass. The stairs and sidewalks are stained with poop and who knows what else. The light fixtures outside are busted and have birds nesting inside. The walls are super thin, you can hear convos all throughout the night and the stench of marijuana from neighboring apartments. The outlets in the apartment do not work, so please invest in a few extension cords if you sign here. The heat has a lock on it that mantinence put on, so during the frigid winters the whole apartment is 68 degrees while in the blazing summer the apartment is 82 degrees. The gate outside is BROKEN. Rust all over the apartment, the light in our storage unit on the porch is busted, and I cant wait to move out this DUMPSTER. This apartment is selfish and does not give a COW about you, they are only concerned about running up those pockets! So please, do not waste your precious time and money here at the Landing.

I lived here at the landing for 2 1/2 years, I recently just moved out and forgot some clothes inside the apartment and was charged $50 for removing a mattress topper I was leaving for a sublet and grocery bag of clothes. I know $50 is not much but it is the principle behind it for me. During my time here I have paid probably $18,000 in rent over my stay and accuired over $2000 worth the body damage to my cars while it was sitting in the parking lot not moving. No cameras, nothing for both cars, and thats not to mention my roommate had his car hit twice while it was sitting in the parking lot as well, just for us to have to pay out of pocket :/. But how could this happen with The Landings safe gated community with mount Everest speed bumps destined to almost total your car if you dont drive a truck. This gate is absolutely useless, anyone that is not a resident here that wants to get through the gate can simply sit outside and wait till a resident opens it so they can come in behind them, because once it opens it does not shut until there are no cars coming through. This has caused our basketball court which I had the misfortune to be placed near to become Greenvilles new trash dump as well, as a city basketball court for nightly concerts, occasional fireworks at 3am, loud, obnoxious, and disrespectful of the free court they are provided to play on they should not even be on when there is literally a dumpster 10 ft away. I think probably 1% of the people using it are actual residents. It was hard to study when you have to hear music blasting 24/7 from it. The only thing that was good at the landing was the maintenance team, they were nice and always on top of your maintenance requests. But after all the money I have paid to them on time, aside from the car damage the landing has caused me, they still squeezed some extra money out of me for removing a few pieces of clothes.....lol. Such great treatment and customer serice to a long time resident. Its just like any other college apartment complex, they feel they have a free pass to get away with being as big of a dumpster fire as they want as soon as they slap the title Student living on it.

Living here hasnt been all that enjoyable. Although structurally, these apartments look decent and there are a few amenities, it isnt exactly cheap to live here, especially as a full time college student. The walls are also incredibly thin, and living on a 2nd or 3rd floor means listening to hippos playing basketball upstairs 24/7.A large portion of the staff is intrusive and lazy. Maintenance wastes no time when pounding on your door at 9 am only to waltz right into your private bedroom while you are asleep without giving you time to react. However, they LOVE to waste time even GETTING to your unit. It takes obscenely long after submitting a work order for anyone to assist you.On top of this, the office crew spends 90% of their time chatting it up with each other, not really accomplishing much, which has delayed important packages from being processed for multiple days. With the amount of people sitting in the office with so much free time on their hands, youd think itd take little to no time to get through them, however they spend this time unwisely instead.Dont get me started on the state of the pools. It has been disgustingly dirty since I moved in August, and the hot tub has been empty and just as gross. I question whether or not they clean the pools at all.Based on other reviews, it seems the management has 0 intention of fixing their problems. The things that I have had issues with have been issues for quite a long time, some up to even years.I would give this place a 1/5, however, if you are willing to deal with all the other bs, at least there is a grocery store and fast food within walking distance and a bus to the school.

Noisy at night and worse on weekends, the corridors need to be swept and pressure washed, someone got sick and it’s on the corridor wall and cement floors. The main pro to living at the Landing is the amenities. The basketball court, dog park, pool, and gym are about the only positives from the Landing. The pool is closed often and the basketball court always has a broken rim. The apartments are small, crammed and overpriced. The manager(s) mean well but in reality can not follow through with requests. In the 2 years I lived at the Landing I was charged multiple times for tiny repairs, damages that accumulated with everyday living. (dents, digs, etc). Move in/out Fees are what drove me to leave. I got charged a fee to move out last year and had spent hours cleaning my apartment prior; and when I got to my new one it was disgusting and moldy. Maintenance is respectable and nice but does not do anything unless you call/place a work order multiple times.

I am incredibly dissatisfied with this apartment complex. They have been incredibly unhelpful in the terms of fixing my dryer. I have had an issue with it since August and they have yet to truly fix or replace it. I called the office to try and speak to someone about fixing my dryer and all they said they could do is fill out a maintenance request, when I asked to speak to someone other than the office associate I was told they would say the same thing. My roommates and I have filled out way too many maintenance requests to fix this dryer and it still takes several hours to dry my laundry (very small loads). I typically have to take my wet clothes to a neighboring apartment to dry, even though they claim my dryer is properly functioning, obviously not if my neighbors dryer has my clothes perfectly dry within a single cycle. This is ridiculous, my clothes are getting ruined due to the over drying and the rusty looking metal exposed within the dryer. I need solutions to my problem. Beyond my dryer issues they have also failed to replace and fix an exit sign on my floor that has exposed wires and is just dangling & waiting to fall on someone (this has also been brought to their attention). They also ignored the rotted ceiling on the exterior part of the building that fell and sat there for over a week. The property is left dirty, there are beer cans that have been left in the same places for months within the apartment complex. I was really looking forward to living here but now I am extremely disappointed with the lack of maintenance of the property.

I learned the hard way with that. The place looks nice from a distance but they really let this place go. You will find the decks with wood rot and loose boards with nails sticking up. There are WAY better student living options in Greenville now, for the close if not same price. There was always lights burned out in parking carports, trash everywhere, and the pool was always under maintenance, etc. If i were going to chose the student living option again wouldnt stay here ever again. I was so ready to move out. Copper Beach and First street place were much much better options. The landing is just a horrible place to choose to live.

I Love the Landing ! it’s a home feel, most student apartments feel like a hotel. Maintenance is great too.

Went into the front office yesterday and was severely disappointed. There were a lot of people behind the front desk just sitting and talking. Two girls were there making fun of residents notes or emails, which felt extremely unprofessional. It felt like there was an unnecessary amount of staff to be on duty if they had the time to just be crowded behind the desk. Will not be signing a lease here.

Dont even know where to begin..move in day was beyond disappointing! Get to my apartment and it was absolutely disgusting. There was no way possible it had been cleaned before hand. All together, it took me and my roommates plus our parents about 3 hours to clean the apartment top to bottom leaving it still not comparable to the model previously shown. The gates are ALWAYS broken, so no need to waste your money on a clicker. I understand that people come here for the pool, but if this is so..do not come. It is never available for use. I understand it constantly needs resurfacing in order to pass inspections however, it should be done in the winter. Most apartments do not have this problem season after season. Overall, the apartments are not worth the money spent. You can easily find better quality and price elsewhere. I would like to say the staff in the office is always nice and willing to help the best they can but I understand most problems are out of their control. As for maintenance, the few times I needed help. Cash is who has helped me on most to all occasions. His willingness to help others around the complex does not go unnoticed. However, as for the complex if it wasnt for my roommates and only having one semester left, I would NOT be here!

DO NOT LIVE HERE! WAY too expensive for what youre given. youre not getting what you pay for like you usually do in gville- staff is unprofessional and maintenance is slow and VERY intruding (came in to my roommates room when she was asleep and told not to enter and changed her light IN HER ROOM WITH HER SLEEP WITHOUT ANNOUNCING THEMSELVES) theyre try to charge you for EVERYTHING and something is always broken (actual units, WIFI, gate/pool, furniture). *furniture is very cheap and they will charge you over 400 dollars for a cheap dresser that was broken when you moved in*

These apartments are run down. The amenities offered not what they advertised. The basketball courts rims were broken, the tanning beds are dirty and have old bulbs, exercise equipment is not maintained. The apartment was dirty upon moving in and had animal feces inside, broken cabinet doors, etc. The security gate was left open most if the time allowing anyone access. We had to clean entire apartment when moving in and they charged exorbitant fees when we moved out. We left a silverware tray and we were charged $25??

Never sent us an email telling residents about pool being under construction. Most of us live here just for the pool. It would have been nice to know or would be nice to know how long it’s expected to be closed. Supposed to have people come from out of town JUST for the pool... we can’t even use the area to lay out or barbecue because it’s been completely closed off. Doesn’t look like it’s opening anytime soon. Don’t move here if you’re moving here just for the pool, it’s always closed at the most inconvenient times. The “replacing of tiles” or whatever is being done should’ve been done during the winter, not when it’s 80 degrees out.

Move in day was horrible, apartment was obviously not inspected prior to move in. Dirty pots/pans and dishes in sink that had been there the whole summer. Smelled disgusting. Kept getting notices about an unauthorized dog when the students in the apartment didnt have a dog because someone was walking their dog and letting it poop in front of their back deck. Charged for things on move out day that were left by the other roommates who moved out later. Office personnel refused to do a walk through with us when we moved out. Told if we do it for you we have to do it for everyone! Well, maybe you should!!!!

Honestly where do I start? Well Ill start by saying if you want a clean apartment complex go somewhere else because The Landing is one of the dirtiest places in Greenville. They say that they have everything cleaned over the summer but when you walk into your apartment for the first time you will find hair and other disgusting things in your refrigerator! Every room in your apartment will have something wrong with it and you can tell them about it but they arent going to fix it unless its something easy like switching a lightbulb. But the worst thing of all about this place is the fact that no one knows how to pick up dog poop!! It has gotten to the point where people step in it and drag it across the sidewalk and god knows when anyone that works at the landing is going to power wash the side walk to clean it up. We have had dog poop all over our stairs for weeks now and they say they will get to it but it never happens. Its sheer luck if you walk across any patch of grass at the landing and dont step in at least 2 piles of dog poop! For the price people pay to even have dogs here its crazy that the landing doesnt hire someone to pick it up! To anyone who is thinking about living here next year dont be fooled by the model room they show you because it doesnt even come close to how these apartments really look and smell. This place is disgusting dont waste your time.

I lived at the landing for two years. First of all I have never seen any bugs in my unit(s) and maintenance does a great job. I transferred units senior year and after signing my lease ahead of time I was still charged $200 for transferring. My apartment unit senior year did not have any of the new furniture, although rates had gone up. My only personal complaint is paying a transfer fee when I moved two buildings down, and not receiving the new furniture in my second apartment. I felt somewhat jipped. Despite those personal complications I feel like the Landing is one of the top tier apartments in Greenville. The staff, gym and pool area are nice. They do a good job of keeping the complex clean as well. In my opinion The Landing is the safest complex, during my time here I never heard of any incidents happen.
