I just returned from one of the most pleasant and satisfying consumer experiences of my life. After spending 2+ days online, calling, and reviewing dozens of auto glass businesses and hitting dead ends and hidden charges, in a moment of enlightenment I called Lake Auto Glass in Greenfield. It turned out to be one of the best decisions Ive made.I called yesterday afternoon and got an appointment today. I was quoted a price and it is exactly what I paid (also was the lowest price I found). I was told it would take 30 - 45 minutes and it was done in 23 minutes. The work looks great!And then as Im leaving to get my car, Im told to go around the corner to the dumpster where the gentleman who did the work was scraping off my WISC park sticker. I hadnt even mentioned it but he noticed it was a 2021 sticker and took the extra time to scrape it off intact! I was blown away! I could not recommend this business more to anyone looking for outstanding workmanship on their auto glass repair with above and beyond service. Thank you! Robby K

Not really a review more of a complaint to people reviewing this business. Tell us how this particular business did their job and not how the people answered the phone. I would rather deal with rude people that know and get the job done than with polite people that have no idea what they are doing.

Very responsive, even on a weekend. I smashed my back window on a Friday and had it replaced in under an hour with Lake Auto Glass on a Sunday ! Matt was very helpful and organized, saving me some much needed time. He made the whole process efficient and I was on my way quickly. I Hope to not have another broken glass situation, but if I do, I will be not hesitate to go here Again and will definitely recommend them to anyone!

I always appreciate professionalism. So I was very pleased on how when I was told that my parts will take 7 days to arrive, my parts actually arrived in 5. That day I received a text to schedule repair, and my vehicle was repaired to my satisfaction. Second, I had an initial to this repair Im speaking on, and that window was fixed within a hr of me bringing my Escalade in. So their work ethic is definitely executed promptly. Thank you.

Me and some friends were in from out of town when my car was broken into Saturday night/Sunday morning. My drivers side window was completely shattered. We didnt find out about the break in until Sunday morning when we were trying to leave town. I called them at 9am and we drove straight to the store. Drop off to pickup was 40 minutes and they vacuumed 100% of the shattered glass from the vehicle.

After having a horrible experience at a different auto glass repair shop, I called and they were able to get me in right away. Replaced my drivers side window in about an hour. Owner and the employee I spoke with were both professional. They got me in and completed the work in a shorter amount of time (and for about $40 less) then I waited at the other shop I went to to then be told they didn’t even have the correct window. Super happy with the service!

Waking up to find my passenger power window shattered was not ideal; but my experience getting it fixed within a few hours was amazing. Quoted me within seconds, made time for me immediately! Spent extra time vacuuming out all of the glass. I’m so grateful. Will be a lifelong customer anytime I need glass work.

Very Rude Service, it says to schedule by email, phone or online. Yes I responded on my way, but I feel that I should have gotten a faster response time before I arrived, which was on me. But whoever I spoke to whole demeanor was off and not professional as a new/potential customer. He could’ve said the window I needed could be ordered but failed to do so. I ended up going to a different shop and was helped right away and was given a discount based off of this experience.

My appointment was set for 11:00am I had to drop my car off early as it was my husbands birthday and I was taking him out for breakfast. Staff there is very nice and professional. Dropped off my vehicle HOURS earlier than scheduled. They had my paperwork ready when I walked in, assured me that if they can start on it earlier since they had early access, theyll get to it asap. Will refer others to this place.

Sent an email out on Tuesday night and they emailed me a quote on Wednesday morning. Weighed my options and decided to schedule for a same day appointment online on a Saturday and got a call back within 30 min to confirm the time. Went in at 3pm, left at ~3:20pm. Over all, the time it took to schedule, call, and replace windshield took less than 2 hours. Maybe even less than an hour. Surprisingly fast, straight to the point, no BS stuff. Great customer service. Will update on the newly installed windshield.

My window was fixed the same day I contacted them and it was a Saturday. They also cleaned up all the broken glass. Was the best price around. Its very rare I have broken auto glass but I do again Ill definitely go back to them again.

Called about a chip repair and a window regulator and the guy said they dont do it then proceeded to say take your buisness elsewhere and started swearing. Then i called back to talk to the supervisor and the same thing yelling and swearing very unprofessional

I contacted Lake Auto Glass on Thursday, August 27th to replace my windshield. I set up an appointment the next day for 9 AM. As I am walking down to my car at 8:30 AM to leave for the appointment, I receive the following text: “Hello this is lake auto Glass. We were just prepping the windshield that we have for your rav 4 and we noticed that there is a crack in the windshield. So we are going a new one today. Since its the weekend the glass wont be here until Tuesday or Wednesday.” I reply and say “ok, keep me updated. Thanks.”By Tuesday, I have not heard anything back so I send the following text at 11 AM: “Hi, just checking if you think the windshield will be in by tomorrow morning. I would like to get it fixed tomorrow if possible.” I wait 8 hours and still get no response so I call them. The man who answered the phone was extremely rude and unprofessional. He made it seem like I was an inconvenience for calling him. I introduced myself and said I was just wondering if he had any updates since they said the part would be in on Tuesday or Wednesday. He replies “you do understand you aren’t our only customer, right?” I was shocked to be treated that way. I said “I understand that. I was just curious if you heard anything since it has been a few days.” He replied “your windshield will arrive from the manufacturer by tomorrow (Wednesday) between 10 and 11 AM.” I said “sounds good, thank you” and I hung up the phone. I should have just found another company to replace my windshield after being treated so rudely on the phone by this man but I gave him the benefit of the doubt. Wednesday goes by with no phone call. Keep in mind, I waited around for their call and used my PTO from work because I WAS TOLD the part would be delivered that day. After not hearing back, I decide to schedule with another company. They had availability right away. The next day, I received this text message from Lake Auto Glass: “We have just heard back from our suppliers. Due to the co vid they dont know when your windshield will be in stock since they are having a glass shortage. We would highly recommend you go somewhere else that has your windshield. We are sorry for inconvenience.” This would have been helpful information on Wednesday, or Tuesday, or Monday, or Sunday, or Saturday, or maybe even on Friday! I hope this company and the man who answered the phone invest in customer service training and do not make any future customers feel the way they made me feel.

Very great experience called at 1120am and got an appointment same day for 12 pm got my driver side window fixed in 25 - 35 mins window was very well installed and is so beautiful so much i can hardly the window is there

We needed a window replaced immediately as we park in an open air parking lot. After calling a few glass shops (none of them had my car make & model window in stock) Lake Auto Glass did, and they repaired it within an hour of my calling them. Great pricing and service! Very RUDE and non customer service oriented. I had an appointment to replace window. After waiting owner to look at car he came back and advised he did not have replacement window. I asked why when he knew in advance of the make and car model and he was quite nasty and said I only have certain makes and yours is not one. I asked why he did not tell me on the phone inorder to save the 25 minute drive. He again got mean and nasty and said I dont know I dont want to serve you try some place else.

Called late Friday; got the windshield for my car Saturday morning; install done by noon same day. Put them in my contacts. 😉

I took my Jeep Wrangler here to replace a shattered power window, and they had very EXPENSIVE & UNPROFESSIONAL SERVICE. They left all of the old glass inside my door and you hear it rattling around every time I open and shut the door. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE!

Made an appointment, arrived at scheduled time and was informed it would be an hour. I walked to Walmart with my kids, got a call around an hour later, asking if I left them my key (which I did). They hadn’t even started my car. I decided to not have them not work on my car because apparently it would be yet another hour. They did locate my key thankfully. I honestly will take my business elsewhere, especially someone who values my time.

I had a good experience with Lake Auto Glass today. After Safelite indicated Id have to wait 5 days to replace my hatchback window, I called Lake Auto Glass last night (a Saturday). The owner answered and scheduled me for noon today. By 2:00 p.m., my window had been replaced, at a lower cost than was quoted to me by Safelite. Appears to be a high-quality job. Im a very satisfied customer.

We got a quote for a windshield replacement on our 2007 Chevy Aveo Friday afternoon, and went in Saturday for the replacement. They were quick, they got the windshield replaced within the hour. They left no trace behind that they were even in there, like broken glass or anything like that. Overall very happy with their service!

Rear Glass Replaced In Under an 1 Hour.

These guys are amazing. I need a new Back Window. They gave me the best price and I was in and out in 20 mins. Hopefully I won’t need them again but if I do, I wouldn’t dare go anywhere else.

I shattered my rear window on a Friday evening and they were able to get me in the next day (Saturday). They are reasonably priced, and did a great job in about an hours time. They even cleaned out the glass that was all over the back of my car.

These guys are awesome! My windshield cracked yesterday requiring a whole new windshield. Lake Auto Glass was the best price I found, plus they got me in right away. I had the rear window of my brand new 2020 Chevy Traverse broken into the day before Christmas. Lake Auto Glass was the only shop in town that had my rear window, and was willing to fix it that day, so I went in and had it done. I had been having issues with my radio since the glass was replaced and took it into my dealership. When the glass was replaced, the wire wasnt connected, instead it was just shoved into the panel. There was also a part that was broken by Lake Auto during the repair,and it was just glued together. There were also bolts missing, and a lot of glass was left inside, not to mention the scratches done to my vehicle. They literally broke my molding and tried to hide it by using window glue. I took this into the dealership and they showed me the bolts were missing because the molding had been broken,so the bolts could not go in. Lake auto is by far the shadiest,most dishonest business Ive ever dealt with. I paid over $700 expecting good service with the many positive reviews, instead I was scammed and taken advantage of. Because of their work, I had over $400 in other repairs to get this done correctly.

We needed a windshield for our Suburban, my husband called Lake Auto. They were able to get us in the following day.The counter person told us it would take about an hour, they had it done in about 35 minutes, we are happy with the price they were about $40 less than another company out there.. My car was broken into yesterday and I called first thing in the morning and they helped me right away. Even as far as to texting me with the actual price, location, hours of service and scheduling an appointment. I was shocked that the price quoted was literally 1/2 the price of Safe-lite.. Lake Auto Glass is actually one of 3 companies that are government certified. They were friendly and Jimmy Johns fast, they quoted me an hour and were done in 45 minutes. My windshield is same as factory and perfect. I went thru the carwash twice in 2 days not a leak.. keep in mind its been 20°s out. Tell your friends family and business associates to replace your windshield at Lake Auto Glass..
